HOME away from home~a family affair
Hello ~ I am a dog lover & dog trainer!!!! My experience consists of my own 2 furbabies ~ Athena who was a golden retriever. She was our 1st 'child' ....we had 3 human babies after her arrival and she helped raise them. She lived a long (but too short) 14 years. Then came LadyBear. She was an Akita/German Shepherd mix who was loyal to the end. We had her for 13 years and she passed May 2014. I have always had a pet friendly house so all my friends know when they come to visit so can their pooches!!!! I’ve been providing boarding services through ROVER since 2015. I started in NJ and now live in Glenside PA. I recently began offering pet/housesitting services as I lost my husband in 2024. I have a special soft spot in my heart for senior dogs. I am able to administer medication as well as injections. I travel to Florida in the winter months and offer pet/housesitting services there as well- Port St. Lucie- will update my calendar accordingly. I currently reside in my daughter‘s home who is also a ROVER sitter (Bonnie Y ) and we have a 3 year-old golden retriever, Dixie and a 5 year-old indoor/outdoor cat, Storm as well as 3 toddlers. We are well-versed with most breeds and welcome non-aggressive dogs for sleepovers and always happy to have a meet and greet!! There is a fenced in yard and we are outside all the time!! Doggie pools in the summer! We love Neighborhood walks as well!

Jeannie was terrific. She bonded with my two cats and sent us numerous photos. I hate to leave my cats so this was comforting to me. The house was neat and clean when we returned. I would definitely recommend Jeannie.
Jeannie was great. She sent updates with photos everyday. She was very helpful. She went above and beyond for our 17yo dachshund. Highly recommended.
I can't say enough great things about Jeannie. She is so kind, and you can just tell how much she loves animals. I feel very lucky we found her and will be using her in the future.
Jeannie was wonderful and took such good care of Maxey. This was are first time using her to stay overnight and we would definitely use her again.
So glad we found Jeannie! She takes great care of our two senior pups. She's easy to communicate with and sends great updates and pictures. She's conscientious, caring, and respectful of our home. Highly recommend!
Jeannie won the award for best/most pictures and updates!!!! She was fabulous with our dogs and house. We will definitely invite her back.

Schedule
I am currently retired and provide housesitting services as well as boarding. If your pup is child friendly, they will be getting extra love ❤️ so much better than a kennel!!!

We love our fenced in yard lots of frisbee and ball playing! We are big walkers too! We walk our neighborhood and spend lots of time walking through Hillside Cemetery!!!!
