“Olivia was great with our kitten and followed the directions to the T. Communication was great and prompt. Would definitely recommend to friends or anyone else needing a sitter!”

“Janelle did a wonderful job checking in with our cat while out of town! We were so happy to receive all the photos from Janelle during our trip. She kept us updated on everything and Maple the cat was well taken care of. Thank you so much Janelle!”

“Melanie was fantastic! She went above and beyond what we had expected and even helped us with a couple non-pet related issues. She took excellent care of our cats, provided regular updates, and sent lots of picture. Two of our cats, who are normally very scared of strangers, warmed up to her after just two visits, illustrating how wonderful she is with pets. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you, Melanie!”

“Dallas goes above and beyond with our three kitties, giving them love and treats for as long as they need them. She sends lovely pics and updates and we know they are in great hands 🥰 highly recommend Dallas!!”

“Rachel has visited my cat Screamy several times and she is her favorite sitter. Screamy is pretty anxious and doesn't always warm up to people, but she is always relaxed and happy when we come home after Rachel's visits. We were lucky that she was available with short notice!”

“Very professional and great deteailed report. One of my cat, which I thought was going to be shy, came out to really like her. The other one came out to me very shy, but its all due to her PTSD. Over all, extremely please with the service. Thank you”

“Zach and Ellie did an amazing job taking care of my cats. One of my cats has a medical condition so they gave him his daily meds. They fed the cats, cleaned the cat litter and all the accidents that my sick cat unfortunately has, played with them and gave them lots of affection. I got daily reports and lots of pictures.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Lisa! From the moment we connected, it was clear that she genuinely loves animals and takes her role as a pet sitter seriously. She was not only excited to care for my pets but did so with such heart, responsibility, and respect. Lisa is incredibly trustworthy and consistently demonstrated excellent communication throughout my trip. She kept me updated without overwhelming me (just the right balance to give me peace of mind). What stood out most was how clearly she respects boundaries—both mine and my pets'. She took the time to understand each of my cat's personality and comfort levels, which made all the difference. On top of everything, Lisa went above and beyond in so many thoughtful ways. I was rushing to catch my flight and left a few things out—she tidied up without being asked, which I truly appreciated. When I returned, not only were my pets happy and well cared for, but Lisa had left me a sweet card and flowers for my birthday. She even checked in to make sure I made it home safely. It’s rare to find someone who is so professional, kind, and genuinely invested in what they do. I wholeheartedly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets (or livestock!) like her own.”

“Gayle did a wonderful job taking care of my two kitties while I was away on vacation/work trips! Lots of pics and updates, and even accommodated showings in my condo throughout the stay (landlord is selling the place atm). Would book again. ❤️”

“Roger came by and spent time with our dogs today. He let me know when he was there and sent me a picture of our babies. It’s so. I’ve to know we can rely on someone to pop in and check on our dogs. ?❤️?”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a child and truly can’t remember a time without one by my side! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from tiny lap dogs to giant breeds. I’m active and love outdoor adventures with pets, but I’m also the kind of sitter who chats with them, snuggles them, and treats them like family. I'm confident, nurturing, and genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm currently working part time with my mornings available! I am an early riser, so if your pup is too, we can walk while we watch the sunrise! I take time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort needs so they feel secure and at ease. I keep a close eye on their behavior, always make sure they have a calm space and follow directions carefully! I love to take photos of the pets and keep pet parents updated so they know their pets are happy and in good care!

“Thank you so much. Linda is amazing and took very good care of my kitty as well as was available last minute. You can tell that she has a tender heart for animals as well as a deep respect for her client's homes and four-leggeds.”

“Olivia and Dylan were great! They took perfect care of our elderly cat who requires medicine and lots of attention. We would certainly have them watch her again!”

“We are very grateful Logynn took great care of our pet. She kept us updated and her bubbly personality is a breathe of fresh air. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our fur baby was in good hands. We came back to our home looking better than we left it. I recommend her to family and friends.”

About: I've been helping take care of the animals of neighbors and friends since I was about 9. Since starting my pet sitting journey, I have had the opportunity to care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and other small household critters. I am a college student, but I am on summer break at the moment, so I can pretty much come take care of animals anytime between my usual wake up time (7 am) until my bed time (10 pm). Home Visits: Each home visit would last at minimum 1/2 an hour but not exceeding 1.5 hours. When doing a home visit, I would be happy to feed/water your animal, take it to the appropriate outdoor spot to use the restroom, and snuggle with/play with it as it appropriate for its disposition and intelligence. In the case of an indoor cat, I would also be willing to empty a litter box, upon request. Walks: For dog walks, I am happy to take your dog on a walk lasting up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. I will clean up any solid waste they make on the walk using a tiny plastic bag and dispose of it by placing it in a trash can. I would pick your dog up from your house and then deliver them back when we were finished.

“Before using Rover, I had a difficult time having a consistent provider. A little bird told me about Rover and recommended Sarah to be an excellent caregiver for my fur baby. She checks off my list for not only being consistent but goes above and beyond. Nothing but great service provided and bonding with not just my fur baby, but with me as well. Super friendly and trustworthy. I highly recommend Sarah to be your go to pet caregiver! No questions asked.”

Chicory B.
“Chicory is a detail oriented and caring pet owner/sitter, even in cases of difficult pets. While she has cared for a large range of animals, her commitment to providing top quality care stands out in the cases of eccentric birds, chiefly her family’s cockatiel Mooshoo and a conure named Humphrey: Years into the ownership of Mooshoo, her behavior turned hostile and territorial, and Mooshoo started laying eggs regularly. Egg guarding became an issue complicating the maintenance of the cage, and Mooshoo stopped eating in order to sit on eggs. Despite these challenges, Chicory was able to keep Mooshoo’s cage clean, and she workshopped several solutions to regularly feeding Mooshoo until the family decided to return the bird to a bird breeder. Humphrey the conure is deeply cantankerous and prone to screeching loudly in the middle of the night as well as biting stray fingers in its vicinity. Chicory has taken on pet sitting jobs for Humphrey several times, and responds to Humphrey’s needs each time, even getting to a point of closeness where she can pet him without his beak interfering.”
