About: I've been around various breeds of dogs for as long as I can remember. During my time volunteering at Paws and Prayers Animal Rescue, I've handled as little as the Chihuahua to as large as the Great Dane! I am currently working part-time, so my schedule is typically pretty open most of the time. I am always open to meet your pups! Big and small! I have handled pups both big and small! Whatever challenge your dog throws at me, I can take it! I am able to crate dogs when necessary.

About: I have rescued two senior, nine year old, brother dogs in 2019, and they are absolutely thriving. I have also taken in a sixteen year old cat from my grandfather, and I currently live with three disabled cats. I am currently working on selling some things online, which means my schedule is completely flexible and lets me go out and take care of what I need to do, including taking care of pets! I quadruple check that all doors are closed, that there is plenty of water and food available, checking for any messes or hazards like yarn, magnets, reachable food containers, and I ALWAYS use a leash when necessary.

“Julie was awesome! She saved us from having to cancel our vacation. 2 days before our trip, our 60lb Boxer showed symptoms of kennel cough which meant we could not board him ?. With no back up plan, we were frantic to book someone to stay in our home overnight with our dog. After reaching out to a dozen or so people, Julie was prompt to respond and let us know about other obligations she committed to during those dates. We worked out a flexible schedule and did a meet and greet the same day. We booked her the same day! She was comfortable with our dog’s illness, medication and behavioral needs. She communicated daily about our dogs symptoms and assured us of any problems. Her Vet Tech background helped us relax on vacation. We were so lucky to find her and we will definitely use her in the future. Thank you again Julie for taking care of our pup!”

About: Pet care experience includes (but not limited to: - feeding - walking - administering medication - maintaining a clean and safe environment - providing companionship - following specific instructions from pet owners - transportation I am available 6pm-10pm everyday. I do have a fenced in backyard (decent size) where we can run around and play. Park, towpath, and hiking all walking-distance from my home. I love spending time with animals, walking, playing, cuddling. I have a full-time job from Monday to Friday. However, I’m usually home in the early afternoons on Fridays. I’d love to have two (or more, depending on their personalities) dogs who might want to spend the weekend with me from Friday afternoon to Sunday evenings. I’m also available to spend time playing, walking, cuddling, and so on, on holidays as well. I have a fenced in yard (decently sized). I do have three cats in my home. Two of them are super shy of most people but curious and kind to other animals. One kitten who is 1 year old; playful and thinks everyone and every animal is a new friend. I love going for long walks and spending time outside.
