“Tatyonia is the best. We were nervous about using this service but Tatyonia’s care and genuine love of our pets changed our minds. We will never board our dogs again and highly recommend Tatyonia.”

“Artur is great. He loves cats as much as dogs. He is very conscientious. My cat loves to play with him. Artur sweeps up the litter up and recycles my cans. He saw my desk that I bought still in the box and he put it together for me. He is a Ukrainian immigrant but his English is good. I highly recommend him.”

“Had Kendall watch over my cat for two weeks. Fantastic job. Always communicated and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Make sure to hire when you need someone to look after your animal”

“Jolene took amazing care of our animals while we were away. She even dealt with our escape artist kitty and pittle party pupper. Very professional and communicative. 10/10”

About: I have had animals my whole life. Mostly cats, dogs and rats. I have experience with diabetic dogs and cats, so I am comfortable giving insulin injections if needed. I also have two cats currently that require daily pills, so I have experience in that as well. If your pet requires anything else specific to keep them happy and healthy, I am happy to learn their needs and routines. I am currently an artist that sells my work online and at some in person events. This generally leaves me with a lot of flexibility during the weekdays and weekends where I am not at events. I will keep my availability up to date so that it can accurately show when I am able to come check on your fur baby. I think its most important for your pets to feel safe with me, so I always try to introduce myself slowly and maintain any routines your household has developed for them. I am also happy to send daily photos as I check in, that always makes me feel better when I am away from my cats, so happy to do that or anything else to have you feel good about leaving your furry family in my care.
“Yolena was incredibly helpful and left robust notes at the end of her visit that left me feeling sure that my baby was well-taken care of. She communicated well and even helped with mail without being asked. Would highly recommend Yolena to any pet parent!”

“Taylor is absolutely amazing and we will be using her again!! We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience! She took excellent care of Luna and Red while we were away. She made sure they were fed, had fresh water, got plenty of potty breaks outside, and most importantly, gave them lots of love and snuggles. She sent us photos and updates, which really helped us relax knowing our dogs were happy and well cared for. She exceeded every expectation. I accidentally mixed up and changed the schedule several times, and she was incredibly patient, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire process. Luna and Red were clearly comfortable with her, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about them. We will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter! Highly recommend!”

About: I have rescued animals and taken care of them my entire life:) I have unbreakably strong empathy for animals in need, and their owners! I’ve had experience with administering medication to my own rescues, and experience with elderly dog/kitty care. I devote my time and energy happily to every animal I meet, and no fur baby goes unnoticed or uncared for. As long as your pet is under my care, they will always be safe and loved! I’m working part time currently, so I have plenty of availability to take on fur babies! I’m available every weekday for anytime, and weekends after 3pm I have a fenced in back patio, and plenty of outdoor space for walks and potties! And I have two kitties of my own to keep any other puppies/kitties company. I have a two story townhouse where there is plenty of space
“She was amazing! Took care of me 2 baby kitties. She was on time, played with cats, and fed them as I needed. She also sent regular updates and was open to changes. Would recommend!”
“Julianna was so amazing!! Her updates were so detailed, and she sent so many photos of our cat. She documented everything that she did, and we could tell that really enjoyed spending time with our cat and cared for him like he was her own. I highly highly recommend her and know we will be using her in the future!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and learned how to properly care for them from a young age. I'm experienced with dogs of all ages, as well as kittens and young cats. I truly enjoy giving pets the love, attention, and care they deserve, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Right now I am working a part time job and I am finishing up my senior year of high school online, so my schedule is very flexible! I always make sure pets get the exercise they need, whether that’s through playtime or going on walks with them! I keep their water bowls fresh, full, and clean. I provide well portioned meals that not only fill them up but help keep them happy, healthy, and full of energy!

About: Hello there! My name is Abby and I am a 28 year old exotic animal keeper, as well as cats and dogs. I have several different species ranging from large snakes to chameleons. I have been caring for exotic species for the last five years. I also care for dogs and cats. I’ve had 20 years of dog and cat care experience. I got my first dog, Sophie, when I was just five years old. Throughout the years, I cared for her and many other dogs and cats growing up. Right now, I have four of my own dogs and fourteen cats who are extremely spoiled! When watching your pet, expect them to be spoiled and loved just like they’re my own. I have experience with giving medication to both cats and dogs. I also had a senior cat that required special care and know how to provide care for any senior animal. I can care for your exotic animals in my house, as I have a separate room for my own exotics. Dogs and cats that stay with me will have their own room and set up as well. I also can provide drop in visits for your furry friends. For cats, I provide toys, cat trees, cat beds, and a hammock. I ask that you bring their food, bowls, litter, and litter boxes and any other special items they may need. Same goes for any dogs :) I have worked as a foster for shelters in Columbus for three years as well, so I am used to providing 24/7 care for other animals. I work from home full time, so I am able to have a very flexible schedule. If you need your animal cared for in my home, I am able to provide that service. I get off of work in the early evening, which gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits after work. My yard is fenced in, which is great for your doggie kiddos. I also do not let my cats outdoors, so any cat staying with me will be safe in the home. I have a dedicated room in our home where I house all of my rover guests away from our pets. Small dogs are okay to be boarded in my home, as well as any cats as long as they are litter box trained.
About: My husband and I both are there to take care of your pets:) when I’m at work he’s there and same for when he’s at work. This ensures that your baby is never left alone!! I have watched dogs and babysat kids my whole life. I enjoy helping others when they’re away. I ensure you that I will walk, feed, bathe, and keep your pets happy and safe. (I usually find our clients and then do all the talking away from rover) I am a part time dental assistant and during my days I have time before, during, and after work to care for your pets. Also my weekends are always free. When I’m in your home I will follow all your rules and treat your home and pets as if they were mine. I will respect you and make sure your pets are well taken care of

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Huber Heights
Heavyn is the best sitter! She took fantastic care of our three cats while we were out of town. She handled their detailed medication schedules and feeding routines like a pro, stayed late to troubleshoot a glitchy automatic feeder, and even helped give one of our cats oral antibiotics that unexpectedly became necessary the day we left for our trip. She also made sure all three cats got plenty of attention and playtime. We loved the fun photo updates and her great communication throughout our trip. Our cats clearly enjoyed spending time with Heavyn (and her sweet baby!) and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We'll definitely be booking with her again!

I can't even fully express how much we appreciate Susan for taking care of my fur babies. I love having someone I feel truly safe with leaving my dogs in thier care. Especially my older german sheppard who typically doesn't adjust easily to people outside of our family. She took to Susan almost immediately.

Artur is great. He loves cats as much as dogs. He is very conscientious. My cat loves to play with him. Artur sweeps up the litter up and recycles my cans. He saw my desk that I bought still in the box and he put it together for me. He is a Ukrainian immigrant but his English is good. I highly recommend him.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
