I can work from home any time I need to which allows for stress free and anxiety free care for boarded furbabies. My work day ends at 2pm at the latest which allows plenty of time for training and play time. I have a large fully fenced in backyard. (6ft privacy fence) I also have large baby gates up to restrict access to the bathrooms and kitchen to maintain a fun and safe environment. I have 3 well established dogs and 1 cat. The cat has its own area where the dogs can’t access it. I have hardwood floors for easy mess cleanup as I know new environments sometimes create bathroom accidents due to separation anxiety at first. I have crates of all sizes if needed. I do allow animas on the furniture which I know some do not like. I can use a crate or dog bed if preferred for bedtime to avoid that so they have consistent care between their home and mine. My neighborhood is extremely low trafficked for safer walks and a dog park nearby.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of house pets from ferrets, cats, dogs, and even rabbits. I am comfortable with all ages of animals, able to give oral medication, take them out and about on walks or to the dog park, I have training experience so if your animal is ill mannered I can work on that if requested. I currently work about 30 hours a week as a seamstress, and use pet care as a way to make up the rest of my income. Depending on the service, time/day, and weather, I would arrive in the mornings at about 9:00 am, take the dog(s) for a walk, feed them, then take them for a second walk. I would spend approximately an hour with them in total. In the afternoon I would either like to take them to the dog park to tire them out or I will take them for another walk and play with them in the house for approximately an hour. In the evening, I would arrive at 5:30, take them for a short walk, feed them and take them for a second short walk and play with them in the house.

“I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. She was extremely responsive and would send me pictures and videos all day without me even having to ask. She has a nice big fenced in backyard that Arlo loved running around freely in all day. Each evening I would pick him up he was exhausted from having fun playing all day. (His besty was her dog, Vanilla) 😊 I cannot recommend Katherine enough. She made my experience great and worry free. I ask that you bring their food, bowls, litter, and litter boxes and any other special items they may need. Same goes for any dogs :) I have worked as a foster for shelters in Columbus for three years as well, so I am used to providing 24/7 care for other animals. I work from home full time, so I am able to have a very flexible schedule. If you need your animal cared for in my home, I am able to provide that service. I get off of work in the early evening, which gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits after work. My yard is fenced in, which is great for your doggie kiddos. I went to do an introductory meet and greet. Her house was immaculate, very clean and organized. Hatsuki had printed (let me say it again, she printed a sheet!) a profile of clutch so she can make notes about his needs. Again this was just a meet and greet, she also made a thumb drive with a tag that had clutch’s name. About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I love to spoil and baby my pets, my grand-pets and the pets of my friends! I can offer your special fur baby the care you’d be giving when you can’t be there. I’m a home owner, have a safe and clean pet yard and allow allow pups to swim in my pool during their stay (weather permitting). I guarantee that your furkid will return home happy, tired and ready for a good nap! I have expertise in puppy training, behavioral training, elder care (and medicine) and can feed and provide accommodations to your preferences. Dogs are fed separately and there is always fresh water available both inside and outside through automatic waterers. All water play (splash pad or doggie pool) is supervised.

About: Ever since I was a child, I was responsible for the care of a variety of animals, and I mean solely responsible. Growing up (and today), I was the one that friends and family came to for pet sitters and care/training advice. I prioritize following pet care instructions to a tee- I do not cut corners on even the most “meticulous” of care instructions. With me, you can trust that your fur babies will receive the highest quality of care and attention because of my intrinsic love for animals. My days vary a lot, but I am often able to make time if you give me a week’s notice. If you need urgent pet care, do not hesitate to reach out. I cannot promise that I will 100% be available, but I will make the time if I have it. Honestly, I prefer to play by the owner’s rules when caring for their pets. Besides that, I refuse to take anything but a gentle approach with the pets. I am very careful to only administer treats/toys as the owner instructs.

I am experienced in puppies and elderly animals as well- even diaper changing!! I have ALWAYS had an animal in my care!! I worked for 30 years in the healthcare field, so caring for any injury or illness will be considered as well I am currently retired. I am looking for ways to stay busy. Although I care for 3 dogs now- I still find myself with extra time everyday! My preference would be to care for your pet(s) in your home, however I am willing to move them to my home if needed. I will have you provide a routine for me that will best suit your pets daily needs.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds and ages since I can remember. We had cats growing up and they were the light of my life. Every day I looked forward to coming home and knowing they would be there waiting for me to give them all the love. Starting in high school is when I began to get familiar with dogs as well. Neighbors, friends, and family have all taught me so much and then began relying on me to love and care for their fur babies. Which included anywhere from walking, feeding, grooming, and overall well-being. I've done quite a bit of house sitting recently and have no problem with cleaning when needed as well. I can promise you that your fur babies will be treated as if they are my own. Animals have a special place in my heart, they become more than pets, they become family and I intend to treat and care for them as such. I will be starting classes again soon, which are online so pet care fits perfectly into my daily/weekly routine. I'll be able to create a schedule that works well for school and being able to give the best attention I can to pet care. Currently I am able to care for pets at the client's home if it is for dogs. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs and cats my entire adult life. I currently actively train my dogs at a local Kennel Club and specialize in deaf dog training. Unfortunately, our eldest Dozer, had a mast cell tumor that needed to be removed immediately a few days before our departure. Sierra was extra careful with him and even took him into the vet when his incision became infected. She sent pictures a few times a day and was extremely responsive. She is byfar the best sitter we've found on Rover and would highly recommend her to watch your pups. She will take care of them as if they are her own.”
