Safety, trust & environment
My top priority is creating a safe, structured, and comfortable environment for your pet. During our meet and greet, I’ll ask detailed questions about: • Behavior around other dogs (especially on walks) • Any anxiety triggers or fears • Escape tendencies or door-dashing habits • Feeding routines and food sensitivities • Medical needs or medications • How they interact with men (in case my husband assists with supervision) I believe preparation prevents problems, so I like to fully understand your pet’s personality and routine before care begins. In my home: • Pets are supervised • Slow introductions are done safely and intentionally • Secure leashing and double-checking doors/gates • Clean, pet-safe environment In your home: • I follow your instructions carefully • Respect your space • Double-check doors, gates, and locks • Provide consistent updates and photos Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are equally important to me.

BIG pet lover!
Pet care experience
Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I truly love caring for pets of all personalities — big or small, shy or playful. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved, and you feel completely at ease while you’re away. I have hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, including high-energy pups and strong breeds. At home, I have three energetic pit bulls, so I’m very comfortable with structured play, reinforcing good behavior, and making sure active dogs get the exercise they need. If your dog has energy to burn, I’m ready for it. I’m also attentive to senior pets who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, or extra patience. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, maintaining routines, or providing consistent updates with photos, I treat every pet like family. Communication is important to me. You’ll receive regular updates and pictures so you can see your pet happy, relaxed, and well cared for. ⸻ ⭐ Important Transparency Note Occasionally, my infant daughter may accompany me for certain drop-in visits or walks depending on the time of day. She is only a few months old and will remain securely wrapped to my chest in a carrier at all times. Her presence does not interfere with the quality of care provided, and your pet’s safety will always remain my top priority. If this is ever a concern, I completely understand and encourage open communication before booking. I value honesty and transparency so everyone feels comfortable from the start. ⸻ Experience & Reviews Although some of my more recent reviews are not currently visible on Rover, I previously operated my own pet care business for three years and built a loyal client base. I’m happy to provide references or additional feedback upon request. When you book with me, you’re not just getting a sitter. You’re getting someone who genuinely cares.

Reviews

Heavyn is the best sitter! She took fantastic care of our three cats while we were out of town. She handled their detailed medication schedules and feeding routines like a pro, stayed late to troubleshoot a glitchy automatic feeder, and even helped give one of our cats oral antibiotics that unexpectedly became necessary the day we left for our trip. She also made sure all three cats got plenty of attention and playtime. We loved the fun photo updates and her great communication throughout our trip. Our cats clearly enjoyed spending time with Heavyn (and her sweet baby!) and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We'll definitely be booking with her again!
I will say I should have looked into this further. Idk how someone gets 5 stars and they don't pay attention to the dog. Works and has babies. Your dog will be on the sideline in a cage all day. She just needs money from my observations not a dog person. My dog is a great Pyrenees not the easiest breed but she vomited 3x when we got home. I was about to miss my vacation if not for my mom. Will never use this site again.

Heavyn is so sweet and she was great with my dog Alice! Will definitely be back.

Heather did a great job looking after our cats while we were gone for a few days!
