“We will have David back again! He kept our fur babies safe, and was so kind to them. My one dog usually hides in the bedroom, and she was out and felt comfortable around him. He sent us pics of our dogs, and made sure our little 4lb dog Sprout was safe. Both of our dogs loved him! David was respectful and kept in constant communication with me from beginning to end. We felt at peace leaving our dogs with him!”

“Kiara was a great sitter for my little fur baby. He was a little scared at first but soon warmed up to her. I feel very happy to have found someone my baby feels comfortable with.”

About: Hello my name is Courtney!! Let me share some things to you about me. I am hard of hearing person, having a dogs to care for bring the joy out of me. They know how to cheer you up. That all make me smile. It doesn’t matter what breeds, gender, or size to me. What matters to me is to make sure they are taking care of with full of love and care. I have 3 girls. Range from 12 to under 1 year old. I look forward to take care of your babies. On plus side I am deaf myself. Being disabled and unable to hear does not stop me loving animals. :) Right now I’m a full time mom with my youngest one. We pretty much stay home. Would love to get out of the house to see doggies. I can always make it work :) I have a full fenced yard where I can always play throwing toys, ball, even some splash of water spray if the dogs like water. There’s a small park around the corner that I can take them to. If it’s a client home I follow what client do to their pets :)
About: I began watching dogs in my neighborhood about two years ago and have LOVED it since. I do all breeds and sizes! I am capable of watching multiple dogs at once if needed! Despite me working part-time in Mount Dora and in Clermont, neighbors and I have always found a way to work around it, whether I come right before/right after a shift or just simply depending on their dog’s own capabilities. In Mount Dora, I am typically only gone for about a maximum of 5-6 hours, while Clermont may be a little over 8. When watching inside the homes of my clients, I ensure to keep attentive focus on the dog(s) at all times. I ALWAYS use a leash when letting them out unless it is already a fenced in area. On walks, I use caution and stay alert with other possible dogs walking. I try to keep distance if I know a dog is reactive by either moving to the other side of the street or simply turning and walking the other direction.
“We had an amazing experience with Jen this weekend! She was so patient and loving with our three dogs — even during the fireworks, which usually stress them out. Came home to happy, calm pups. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Karrie watched our two GSP’s for a long weekend we were away. We got some good pics of the girls to let us know all was well and it definitely made being away from them easier. Karrie is friendly, personable and the girls seemed to enjoy their time with her.”

“Jennifer had a challenging sit with our cat and dog. We were gone for 8-9 days. She stayed with them and took on the challenges of our geriatric cat and reactive dog. She came to visit several times before our trip. It was important to her that things go well. Within several days, our dog was sleeping with her. She has a calm, kind, and trustworthy aura. Leaving our animals was going to be very stressful, but it wasn’t. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing our pets were being taken well care of. Would and probably will use her again. Thank you so very much Jen.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Christina and her family! They were reliable, communicative, and took great care of our pets. We came home to happy animals and a clean home. We would absolutely book again!”

About: I’ve grown up taking care of animals my whole life. From neighbors, colleagues, and family. I’ve got two rescues myself and have learned to be extremely patient. I love taking care of animals and showing them they are valued companions, through: walking, feeding, bathing, playing fetch, all of the good things. I have availability on the weekends and most breaks. Mt full time job is an elementary school teacher. I’m not accessible during weekdays between 7:30-4:00. I will be continuing to walk dogs/house sit throughout the school year and the summer! I currently have a dog of my own, that gets his own daily walks and outside time. Preferably when its cooler out. I make sure, that he is getting ample time outside while also managing the heat and weather. I have no problem going on walks dependent on what your dogs needs are, playing fetch, potentially teaching sit and paw to your dog as well. Water, food, and crate clean ups are no big deal!
“Megan was a pleasure to meet and she spoke highly about the Rover service and helped answer questions I had, as this was my first time using. I Highly recommend, Megan and the Rover service. She sent photos and took great care of my ESS, Ghia. I will always request her first - and I was very happy with the Rover service too.”

“Linda was fantastic! I have an older small dog (Bailey) who struggles with severe separation anxiety. Linda was unbelievably patience, taking things slow, making sure to reduce Bailey’s stress level. Bailey rarely eats when I’m away, but she actually ate for her. She sent me regular updates and pictures on how things were going. Linda’s kindness, patience, and attentiveness made a potentially stressful situation seamless for both Bailey and me. I highly recommend her to anyone with a dog (or any animal) who needs a calm, compassionate caretaker. I already have booked her again.”

“Elizabeth is a sweet girl and great pet sitter! She updated me on how our dog was while we were away. Responsible and took the time to get to know our dog and her schedule. :)”
