Our sweet pup isn't always a fan of strangers - especially when we're leaving him with them. Terry was able to win him over - and even sent me a video of her giving him a belly rub! Not only was she willing to stay with him the entire time, but she brought him two toys - one being a stuffed alligator which has become his favorite since we've returned home! About: I have taken care of and have had pets since I was a baby. I actually was born into a house that already had a dog. I have the most experience with dogs but I have also had, and have taken care of cats. I love to be interactive with pets, take them on walks, and give them lots of pets! About: I began watching dogs in my neighborhood about two years ago and have LOVED it since. I do all breeds and sizes! I am capable of watching multiple dogs at once if needed! Despite me working part-time in Mount Dora and in Clermont, neighbors and I have always found a way to work around it, whether I come right before/right after a shift or just simply depending on their dog’s own capabilities. In Mount Dora, I am typically only gone for about a maximum of 5-6 hours, while Clermont may be a little over 8. When watching inside the homes of my clients, I ensure to keep attentive focus on the dog(s) at all times. I ALWAYS use a leash when letting them out unless it is already a fenced in area. On walks, I use caution and stay alert with other possible dogs walking. I try to keep distance if I know a dog is reactive by either moving to the other side of the street or simply turning and walking the other direction.

Caring for dogs has truly become a source of comfort, joy, and purpose for me. I work from home, so your fur baby will always receive individualized love, attention, and companionship. Each guest may stay in their own private room or alongside me, depending on their comfort level and your preferences. My four-bedroom home is lovingly shared with your pet—think of it as visiting their favorite auntie, an empty nester with plenty of time, space, and affection to give. I live in a beautiful, dog-friendly neighborhood for daily walks and have a huge fenced yard for safe roaming and play. During their stay, your pet will also meet my sweet pup, Jinger (a Bichon Poodle). There may be other guests from time to time, but to avoid stress or behavioral challenges, dogs only interact if they are similar in size, well-socialized, and have compatible temperaments. Every guest receives one-on-one time for playing, walking, eating, and relaxing—without worrying about sharing toys, food, or attention. My goal is to create a calm, low-anxiety environment where your dog never feels territorial, overwhelmed, or uncertain. I also honor your preferences regarding crates. While I do have crates available, I choose not to close them. Instead, they are kept open with pillows and blankets so they feel like a comfortable “safe space,” not a form of confinement. BearBear always viewed his crate as his home—not a punishment—and that philosophy continues here. Your pet will be treated like family, surrounded by love, patience, and genuine care every step of the way. Hi! I’m fortunate to work from home, which allows me to give your fur baby plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Lots of playtime in my yard, on the lanai, or just running around the house. Your pet will never feel bored or overlooked here!
