About: I’m dependable, patient, and caring with years of hands-on pet experience. I understand feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, playtime, routines, and helping pets feel calm while owners are away. I’m attentive, trustworthy, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I work an early schedule, which gives me flexibility later in the day and on select weekdays. I’m also available many evenings and weekends for drop-in visits and walks. I keep a reliable schedule and communicate clearly with pet owners. I care for pets with patience, attention, and respect for their routine. In a client’s home, I follow instructions carefully for feeding, walks, litter care, medications if needed, and keeping the space secure. I’m dependable, clean, and happy to send updates and photos.
“Liz is amazing! She is reliable, punctual, communicative, and meticulous with all pet instructions. All of my animals love having her around. She also cares for my extras (bunnies, chickens, fish, and snake). I will definitely use her anytime I am out of town.”

About: I have spent my entire life caring for animals! My mom was a breeder so I helped take care of over 20 dogs at a time. I grew up with horses, chickens, birds, cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages from new born to senior. I’ve house trained puppies many times and know how important schedules are. I have administered oral medications. I used to pet sit when I was younger for all of my neighbors and since having my child this year I have stepped back from work and have a more open schedule to do what I love again. I have two labs who are super loving but we do separate our animals from our clients if necessary. Our house has a separate furnished room with its own exit so we can separate completely. I have a love for ALL animals and will treat your pets like family no matter was species! Currently I am working part time 3 days a week and have weekends available . I am available after 3 on week days when my boyfriend gets home from work. I am home all day and until 4 on the days I work. My boyfriend is home every evening as well. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your dogs entertained. If they are not dog friendly no problem, please let me know and we will separate all dogs! We can go on walks if that is your dogs preference! I will keep your pets schedule the same as if you were there.
“Joanna was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend her for any pet care needs on Rover. She took amazing care of my dogs, followed all of my instructions perfectly, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She was kind, professional, and very prompt in responding to every message, which made communication easy and stress-free. Joanna clearly knows how to navigate the Rover app and used it to provide excellent check-ins and check-outs, always with great photo updates that showed my dogs were happy and well cared for. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Pets have always been a part of my life—whether fur, scales, or feathers, there’s never been a time my home wasn’t shared with animals. I truly believe pets don’t just live in a house—they make it a home and become family. I recently welcomed a playful cat named Ducky, who has quickly reminded us what it’s like to have curiosity, energy, and a bit of chaos woven into everyday life. That same appreciation for each pet’s personality carries into the care I provide. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer stay, you can count on me to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for as if they were my own. I focus on maintaining their routine, minimizing stress, and making sure they feel secure and at ease—until you’re back home and reunited. I'm currently a reservist in the military, so I have a lot of free time to help busy schedules and vacations. You want to take that cruise you have been planning? Or have a busy meeting to go to? You can count on me We share our home with a lively, vocal kitty named Ducky who keeps things active and full of personality. She’s playful, curious, and always ready to “chat,” which has made us very attentive to creating a safe, calm, and well-managed environment for all animals in our care. That same level of awareness and responsibility extends to every pet I look after. I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort, ensuring each pet feels secure and cared for as part of the family while they’re with me.
About: I volunteer with cats and dogs at Leesburg Humane Society. I work one day a week at an up-and-coming petting zoo. D Ranch has goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and dogs. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Leesburg. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
