About: Hi! I’m a former paramedic who is currently working helping my family run our small business. I’ve spent my whole life around dogs and cats and caring for animals (and people) has always been a part of who I am. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, and I’m able to provide care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working with cats and dogs that may be shy, fearful, reactive, or considered less than friendly. I understand the importance of patience, reading body language, and creating a calm, safe environment so pets feel comfortable and secure. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking companion, gentle care, medication support, or simply someone they can trust while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same attention and compassion that I give my own. I’m currently working with my family which allows me to have an extremely flexible and open schedule. Generally available from 8:30a.m-11p.m 7 days a week Long walks and backyard or park playtime. I am comfortable caring for pets with special medical and physical needs. I can provide basic grooming if needed for pets that will allow.
“Berkley was timely and communicative during the month that she watched our cats. There were no concerns while we were away because of her transparency and follow-up after each visit. We would recommend her services to anyone looking for a quality sitter that’s welcoming and looking to provide the best care for your pets.”

About: I have lots of experience with big animals and small old and young and I also understand that they all can have different needs at different stages of life and I can help with that. I work Monday through Thursday so my Friday and weekends are free to help. I can do early morning walks mid and and evening times too depending on the needs My home is pet proof I do have animals of my own and they love it when new friends come over to play. I do pet sit for friends when they have to go out of town. If you are more comfortable with me coming to you. I always respect your house and fur baby just like my own and keep things clean
“Melissa was absolutely great. This was our first time contacting her and she scheduled a meet and greet with us the same day. Her communication is great and she really took the time to understand our caregiving instructions. She sent photos of our fur baby smiling when she dropped in to visit him. We will definitely contact her again!”

“I could tell once I came home my dogs (2 big 65 lbs boys) were super happy and relaxed after Ernest's visits. He is great with communication and I feel has proven to be very dependable. You can see he loves dogs and dogs love him. I look forward to working with him again in the future.”

“Joanna took great care of our cat, Henry, while we were away. She was reliable, caring, and even came on extra days to see him. It gave us great peace of mind knowing Henry was well taken care of. We came home to a happy, healthy cat, and we couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. I would definitely recommend Joanna to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pets!”

“Kyla was so communicative the entire time we are away! The pictures and videos she shared definitely left me feeling comfortable and confident that our chatty friendly kitty was being well taken care of. Would definitely recommend Kyla and will be rebooking for sure!!”

About: I have spent my entire life caring for animals! My mom was a breeder so I helped take care of over 20 dogs at a time. I grew up with horses, chickens, birds, cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages from new born to senior. I’ve house trained puppies many times and know how important schedules are. I have administered oral medications. I used to pet sit when I was younger for all of my neighbors and since having my child this year I have stepped back from work and have a more open schedule to do what I love again. I have two labs who are super loving but we do separate our animals from our clients if necessary. Our house has a separate furnished room with its own exit so we can separate completely. I have a love for ALL animals and will treat your pets like family no matter was species! Currently I am working part time 3 days a week and have weekends available . I am available after 3 on week days when my boyfriend gets home from work. I am home all day and until 4 on the days I work. My boyfriend is home every evening as well. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your dogs entertained. If they are not dog friendly no problem, please let me know and we will separate all dogs! We can go on walks if that is your dogs preference! I will keep your pets schedule the same as if you were there.
“I can’t say enough good things about Mahaila. From our very first meet and greet, it was clear how much she genuinely loves animals—my girls warmed up to her right away, which never happens! She was attentive, patient, and incredibly thoughtful every step of the way. While I was away, she kept in consistent contact, sending updates and the cutest pictures—my dogs looked so happy and relaxed, which gave me such peace of mind. It’s hard to trust someone else with your pets, but Mahaila made it easy. I’ve never felt more confident leaving them in someone else’s care. She’s officially our go-to now, and I’m so grateful we found her!”

About: Pets have always been a part of my life—whether fur, scales, or feathers, there’s never been a time my home wasn’t shared with animals. I truly believe pets don’t just live in a house—they make it a home and become family. I recently welcomed a playful cat named Ducky, who has quickly reminded us what it’s like to have curiosity, energy, and a bit of chaos woven into everyday life. That same appreciation for each pet’s personality carries into the care I provide. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer stay, you can count on me to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for as if they were my own. I focus on maintaining their routine, minimizing stress, and making sure they feel secure and at ease—until you’re back home and reunited. I'm currently a reservist in the military, so I have a lot of free time to help busy schedules and vacations. You want to take that cruise you have been planning? Or have a busy meeting to go to? You can count on me We share our home with a lively, vocal kitty named Ducky who keeps things active and full of personality. She’s playful, curious, and always ready to “chat,” which has made us very attentive to creating a safe, calm, and well-managed environment for all animals in our care. That same level of awareness and responsibility extends to every pet I look after. I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort, ensuring each pet feels secure and cared for as part of the family while they’re with me.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Whitney
Lori was excellent with our two senior cats. We have very detailed and specific instructions as they are senior cats (16 and 18) with multiple health issues. Lori did amazing getting them both to take their medications and eat their food. It’s a challenge with senior cats. We were able to relax on our time away knowing they were receiving the best care. We truly appreciated the detailed updates and pictures with every visit. We have three additional visits already booked due to the quality of service we received.

Love the attentiveness they give to my kitties, even when they can be a little timid at times. They take care of them just as I’ve asked with food and treats! Also, very flexible when I needed an extra day and the timing of going in. Very reliable and trustworthy. They are my go-to when out of town more than a day or two. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
