“Lori is a fantastic pet sitter. We have two tuxedo cats and she handled them perfectly. The pictures she sent they were laying around and loving as she was petting them & brushing them as well. We were able to take a great vacation and not worry about our cats while we were gone.”

“Excellent top-notch care for our grand dog! Julie and Johnny took extra care to ensure our pup was well cared for, walk and feed 3 times a day, and played & loved on. She immediately liked them both when initially met and we knew they were the best pet care team to hire. It was short notice and they ensured our dog had the care she deserved. A+ service indeed!”

“Kyla was amazing as she was willing to take care of my dogs last minute! Provided great communication throughout and took the dogs on long walks each time. I would definitely recommend her and will use her to care for my dogs in the future!”

“I dropped off my 84 lb. Dobbie and Meghan spoiled her rotten!!??. She had such a great time going to off leash parks and playing with Meghan's dog Scarlett. I'm bringing my Roxy to stay with Meghan whenever I come to Bend and Mt Bachelor !! What a great experience for my Roxy and for me ! Sherry”
“Joanna was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend her for any pet care needs on Rover. She took amazing care of my dogs, followed all of my instructions perfectly, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She was kind, professional, and very prompt in responding to every message, which made communication easy and stress-free. Joanna clearly knows how to navigate the Rover app and used it to provide excellent check-ins and check-outs, always with great photo updates that showed my dogs were happy and well cared for. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Pets have always been a part of my life—whether fur, scales, or feathers, there’s never been a time my home wasn’t shared with animals. I truly believe pets don’t just live in a house—they make it a home and become family. I recently welcomed a playful cat named Ducky, who has quickly reminded us what it’s like to have curiosity, energy, and a bit of chaos woven into everyday life. That same appreciation for each pet’s personality carries into the care I provide. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer stay, you can count on me to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for as if they were my own. I focus on maintaining their routine, minimizing stress, and making sure they feel secure and at ease—until you’re back home and reunited. I'm currently a reservist in the military, so I have a lot of free time to help busy schedules and vacations. You want to take that cruise you have been planning? Or have a busy meeting to go to? You can count on me We share our home with a lively, vocal kitty named Ducky who keeps things active and full of personality. She’s playful, curious, and always ready to “chat,” which has made us very attentive to creating a safe, calm, and well-managed environment for all animals in our care. That same level of awareness and responsibility extends to every pet I look after. I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort, ensuring each pet feels secure and cared for as part of the family while they’re with me.
“Sabrina took such good care of my dog Lucy. Usually she has a lot of anxiety when I’m gone but not this time time! I received check in photos and reports regularly and the extra photos and texts helped put my mind at ease. An e tra bonus was how clean and tidy everything looked upon my return. Won’t hesitate to use Sabrina again.”

“Melissa was great. I felt that my pets were very safe and taken care of. I would use her again. Great communicator. My first time using this service. And leaving my pets with somebody other then family. But now I feel I know her. And she was great with them. Wonderful person.”

About: I have taken care of and have had pets since I was a baby. I actually was born into a house that already had a dog. I have the most experience with dogs but I have also had, and have taken care of cats. I love to be interactive with pets, take them on walks, and give them lots of pets! I am a true animal lover through and through and I can’t wait to make a new furry friend. I have personally been a pet sitter for family & friends for many years but decided to try Rover to make some extra money. I work full-time in Lake County. I will service Lake, Marion & Citrus counties. If you’re local to my job I can break free on my lunch break to let your trusted companion outside. I do have a second part-time job that I just got that will sometimes keep me out until nighttime during the week and varying hours on weekends. I am looking to pet sit for others only. Please contact me about my rates if you have any questions-I am flexible! :) I’m not looking to sit pets in my home at this time but whatever safety protocols you have for your pet (fence, gates) I will ensure they are watched carefully. I will follow all care instructions to a T!! Your pet is my pet!
About: I offer loving, reliable pet care in a calm and relaxed environment. I specialize in well-behaved pets and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable and at home. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs over the years and truly treat them as part of the family. We had beloved dogs growing up, and I’ve also had cats—including a rescue cat which we loved very much. I'm naturally attentive to each pet's behavior, routine, and comfort. I take the time to understand their personality, so they feel calm and secure while you're away. I'm also friendly, respectful, clean and easy to communicate with. I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in caring and responsible hands. I work from home, so I’m available throughout the day to give your pet plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I have a flexible schedule and can adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs. I provide a calm, safe, and attentive environment for pets in my care. Since I work from home, pets are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision throughout the day. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I take pets out on leashed walks and supervised potty breaks to ensure their safety at all times. I also have a spacious outdoor patio area for fresh air and short breaks. Inside, I maintain a clean, comfortable space where pets can relax and feel at ease. I follow each pet’s routine closely and make sure they receive the attention, care, and affection they’re used to. In a client’s home, I respect their space and instructions, keeping their pet’s routine consistent and stress-free.
“Berkley is amazing! She is patient and allowed my little girl to warm up to her and gain trust. Berkley also responds quickly to any questions and has made me feel comfortable entrusting my little toy poodle with her.”

I'm a New Englander from Central MA and am now looking forward to meeting new pet parents and bringing my passion to FL where I love to live with my dogs. I have owned multiple dogs at once. I have taken care of elderly dogs, raised many puppies from 8 weeks and potty trained and behavior trained all my dogs. I live in a beautiful slow and sleepy dog friendly area for walks in my community. If the weather isn't becoming for a walk we will have plenty of fun in the yard and in my home. I will only care for socialized dogs in my home. I will also come to your home for visits. My specialty is training dogs for behavior and exercise. I have always loved dogs and they will always be in my life. I look forward to just caring for dogs and doing what I really love. I LOVE DOODLES!!! I am newly retired from a medical device company of 44 years in MA and finally I get to do my passion full time. I have always walked and boarded dogs back in MA as I worked from home which allowed me to board dogs. I walk dogs and exercise them. And we have play time inside. We do not go to dogs parks. My two dogs are very socialized and will love your dogs.
Whitney cat parents share their Rover experiences
Love the attentiveness they give to my kitties, even when they can be a little timid at times. They take care of them just as I’ve asked with food and treats! Also, very flexible when I needed an extra day and the timing of going in. Very reliable and trustworthy. They are my go-to when out of town more than a day or two. Highly recommend!
