I have three pets, a senior chi, a male hating cat (not viscous, just hides) and a 4 month old puppy. About: I absolutely adore animals. I love dogs and cats equally, I also have experience owning/caring for rodents and fish. I worked at a vet for a while so I have experience with animal care along with medicine distribution. I’m open to any hours of the day!l I’m very flexible when it comes to same day visits. Just contact me and I’ll work you right into my schedule! I always approach an animal with caution and care, I allow the animal to sniff my hand first and let them approach me. I am careful when reading their body language and I am adamant about respecting an animal’s boundaries.

I began caring for pups on Rover at the encouragement of a good friend as a way to heal the hole left in my heart when my beloved BearBear crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022. Caring for dogs has truly become a source of comfort, joy, and purpose for me. I work from home, so your fur baby will always receive individualized love, attention, and companionship. Each guest may stay in their own private room or alongside me, depending on their comfort level and your preferences. My four-bedroom home is lovingly shared with your pet—think of it as visiting their favorite auntie, an empty nester with plenty of time, space, and affection to give. I live in a beautiful, dog-friendly neighborhood for daily walks and have a huge fenced yard for safe roaming and play. During their stay, your pet will also meet my sweet pup, Jinger (a Bichon Poodle). There may be other guests from time to time, but to avoid stress or behavioral challenges, dogs only interact if they are similar in size, well-socialized, and have compatible temperaments. Every guest receives one-on-one time for playing, walking, eating, and relaxing—without worrying about sharing toys, food, or attention. My goal is to create a calm, low-anxiety environment where your dog never feels territorial, overwhelmed, or uncertain. I also honor your preferences regarding crates. While I do have crates available, I choose not to close them. Instead, they are kept open with pillows and blankets so they feel like a comfortable “safe space,” not a form of confinement. BearBear always viewed his crate as his home—not a punishment—and that philosophy continues here. Your pet will be treated like family, surrounded by love, patience, and genuine care every step of the way. Hi! I’m fortunate to work from home, which allows me to give your fur baby plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Lots of playtime in my yard, on the lanai, or just running around the house. Your pet will never feel bored or overlooked here!

About: I’ve been volunteering at animal rehab facilities since I was 10 and I’ve worked my way up to wildlife internships in the amazon rainforest just last year, so I have plenty of experience with animals from household pets to less common exotics ! Household pets I have most experience in are Cats, Dogs, Small mammals and Reptiles and I’m well educated in proper cleaning, meal preparation and grooming. I have a heart for animals and i can’t wait to meet yours! 😊🐶 I’m currently managing a temporary health setback and seem to have a lot of time on my hands! I’m available 9 am - 12a during the week and weekends is full availability to keep your pet safe and entertained. I have a fenced in yard and screened porch and I only let my cat roam leashed under close supervision so that he doesn’t get into anything and I didn’t notice. I Always ask what the owner is comfortable with whether it’s crating or going on walks around the yard prior but I also understand some pets need more attention than others and that’s okay! I never have anything toxic in reach and keep my house stocked with plenty of toys and treats to keep your pet happy and healthy.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I currently live on a farm with cows, pigs, chickens, cats, and my very sweet bloodhound/border collie mix dog. I’m currently in between jobs at the moment, so I have plenty of time and energy to devote to walking and playing with your pets! About: I began watching dogs in my neighborhood about two years ago and have LOVED it since. I do all breeds and sizes! I am capable of watching multiple dogs at once if needed! Despite me working part-time in Mount Dora and in Clermont, neighbors and I have always found a way to work around it, whether I come right before/right after a shift or just simply depending on their dog’s own capabilities. In Mount Dora, I am typically only gone for about a maximum of 5-6 hours, while Clermont may be a little over 8. When watching inside the homes of my clients, I ensure to keep attentive focus on the dog(s) at all times. I ALWAYS use a leash when letting them out unless it is already a fenced in area. On walks, I use caution and stay alert with other possible dogs walking. I try to keep distance if I know a dog is reactive by either moving to the other side of the street or simply turning and walking the other direction.

“Terry was great! We were visiting Florida from out of town and needed a sitter for 8+ hours with fairly short notice. Our sweet pup isn't always a fan of strangers - especially when we're leaving him with them. Terry was able to win him over - and even sent me a video of her giving him a belly rub! Not only was she willing to stay with him the entire time, but she brought him two toys - one being a stuffed alligator which has become his favorite since we've returned home! Terry clearly loves animals and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to spoil their pet while they're away - she's Dudley approved!”
