She even took photos for each visit. Socks seemed to be very comfortable around her. Kitt is still shy, but that is how she has always been around other people. I would be happy to have her take care of them while I am out of town again.”

About: I have been caring for animals since I was 11 years old; including family, friends, neighbors and referrals. I grew up in a family that always had pets and have lived with others with pets as well. I am very comfortable and knowledgeable of animals of many ages and types. I have assisted with puppy training and working on commands and discipline and also cared for senior dogs who need extra attention and assistance. I am currently attending nursing school ~3-4 days/week and have availability in the evenings, weekends and some days to assist with pet care needs. My schedule is flexible outside of clinical hours and am excited to spend time with your animals and assist with your needs. I am available for short check-ins, walks, overnights, and weekends you are away. My ideal setting for pet care would be at a client's home due to already having one at home. My house has a fenced in yard with lots of space for activity and play time for your pets. I have experience with house sitting and dog sitting concurrently whether for a few hours, few days or weeks. I am respectful, clean and responsible and follow instructions and client preferences.

Whether it's long walks in familiar parks, cozy cuddles on the couch, or engaging playtime, your dog will receive the same affectionate attention I've given my own pets throughout my life. I work from home all day so any pet will hang out with me and follow my dog's care schedule. I take my pup with me everywhere unless it's a safety issue (e.g. too hot to park in the grocery parking lot), so dogs are not left alone for long. Lunch time typically includes a trip to Meadow Park or Riverview Sports Park. Dogs are family. I have furniture with performance fabrics that wicks away dirt easily. I have a rear deck with a dog hammock for pups to enjoy the sun, or they can move into the treed area on my property. A dog run can be set up as well so pups can have plenty of outdoor time. In the summers, we do doggy play dates at the Tahoe Donner ski hill, which is a short 5 minute walk from my house. I frequent the Legacy Trail and Donner Lake.

I live in Alpine Meadows and work at Palisades Tahoe, and am happy to give your pets the care they deserve on my off days and before/after work! I work at Palisades Tahoe as a ski instructor and live in the Donner Lake area. I typically work Friday-Sunday with evenings off. I can be flexible if needed! My dog is super friendly and he gets taken out every 3-5 hours if possible. I try to walk him every day, as well as letting him socialize with other pups!

About: I have 2 Crested Geckos, and have lived with 4 different friends who owned cats. Within the last year I have walked coworkers dogs countless times and have dog-sat for them as well. I have pet-sat for coworkers in their homes from one night, up to one month. I have also volunteered at the Truckee Humane Society for about a year as well. I have flexible but consistent work hours that allow me to create a routine to take care of your pets. I love going for walks with dogs as well as hanging out and giving both dogs and cats the pets they deserve. I care for pets based off of what they need and what they ask of me. I listen to body language to understand what they need. I am content giving pets their space, or giving them all of the pets they want. I also pay extra attention to bathroom cues to limit accidents within the house.

About: I grew up with 2-3 100+ pound dogs in my home at a time growing up. I'm used to loving and respecting animals the way they are meant to be treated. Also I'm willing to DISCOUNT SERVICE if you pay cash! I currently have a job that makes my travel but when I'm at home I have a lot of time to take pups on their much needed walks. About: Raised on a cattle ranch, I have had experience with animals large and small my whole life. I joined Rover about a few years ago, shortly after my 120 pound lab of 9 years passed away, I wanted to be able to be around dogs and be able to be active by going on hikes and out to dog beach, but wasn't quite ready to bring to a new puppy into my life. I have house sat for many clients over the years: friends, co-workers & students families. I love to go on long walks, am comfortable administering medication if needed & providing lots of love for your dear furry friend(s). It’s been 7 years since I brought my lab puppy Pilot home & he absolutely loves having other dogs come to stay and/or join in on our daily adventures. Since covid hit he especially loves that I am a work from home dog mom now and we take a considerable amount of additional walks/hikes/bike rides each day. I would welcome anyone who is looking for Daily walks/adventures as well as longer term pet sitting to reach out as I would love to watch your furry friends. My dog Pilot would love to meet more friends to play with. Please note: I am unable to accommodate pets with any type of aggressive tendencies. I work full time from home, so your pet will be cared for and with the company of myself and my lab for their entire stay. I have a huge property with a doggie door and live near a variety of trails and lakes that can be accessed right out our door for our exercising adventures
