About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 8 years old. I’ve owned multiple dogs my whole life and they are my favorite animals. My neighbors and friends trust me to take care of their pets when they are away. I’m currently working a very flexible part time job, so I have plenty of time to hangout and take care of my dog and other dogs. I am also very athletic and am always going on runs with my dog. I have a medium sized fenced in backyard and a 6 year old playful lab to keep your pup company. The bay trail is right behind my house so taking the dogs on walks is super safe!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs over 50 years since childhood. As a retired doctor, I understand health and behavior well. Neighbors and friends often trust me with walking, feeding, and caring for their pets, knowing they’re in safe and loving hands. As a retired doctor, I now enjoy a peaceful life with a flexible schedule. I’m home most days and would love to spend time walking, playing, and caring for your dogs. I’m available throughout the week, including weekends and holidays. My home is quiet and pet-friendly, with a secure backyard and plenty of space. I focus on safety, comfort, and calm interaction. Your pet will have my full attention, and I can easily handle special needs or medication if required.

About: I’m a dog lover who’s all about giving your pup lots of love, play, and care while you’re away. I live in an apartment building right near tons of green spaces and parks, so there’s always a great spot nearby for walks or playtime. I’ve got experience training puppies and I’m great with senior dogs who need a little extra TLC. Every dog gets plenty of attention, belly rubs, and walks tailored to their energy and personality. I’m currently taking some time off, so I have plenty of free time every day to give your pup all the attention and playtime they need. Whether it’s long walks, fun games at the park, or just cuddling around the apartment, I’m here to keep your furry friend happy and active throughout the day. Your dog won’t feel lonely or bored when they’re with me and my rescue pup Zoë! I provide loving, personalized care whether your pet stays with me or I visit them at home. In my home, your dog will enjoy a safe, cozy environment with plenty of playtime and walks around nearby parks. For in-home visits, I stick to your pet’s usual routine to keep them comfortable and happy, including feeding, potty breaks,

“Vivian was great! She responds VERY quickly and was open to walking Lou on a weekend while I had to work which was awesome because it can be really tough finding someone on weekends. I enjoyed reading her walk adventures with Lou! It was very detailed and we have plenty of pics. Thanks so much!”

“Katherine was terrific with our dog! She responded to our urgent request quickly (we had a funeral to attend and our dog walker set up didn't work out) and she did a lovely job with him. We got a report card and pics and the overall communication with Katherine was great. Highly recommend!!”

About: I am new to the Foster City area coming from Texas. I have had many years of experience taking care of animals. I worked as a veterinary technician for 3 years in Austin, TX and prior to that I have worked with boarding facilities, daycares and groomers. I am skilled in the basics of grooming- bath, hair brushing/detangling, teeth brushing, nails, ear cleaning. I love to go for walks and be outside. I have 3 dogs myself so I am accustomed to walking multiple times a day. I'm also very skilled at cuddling on the couch, for those pets who are less active and looking for a drop in visit. I'm very comfortable around any animals, big or small. I have a lot of experience with senior pets - giving meds, lifting/helping them move around, cleaning up after messes. My main goal is to ensure that your pet is as happy and comfortable as they can be while you are away! I am currently taking a break from the vet care field but I am still looking to enrich my free time and help other's pets live their best lives! My pets are my first priority in the household. I spoil them in anyway that I can with food, treats, adventures and unconditional love. My pets are treated as family and I will always treat your pet with the same level of care and love.

About: I've fostered 10 dogs, all sizes and ages, for 3 y with LastHopeK9 (Boston) and have become an expert at welcoming pets to a new place. I'm currently working part-time from home and have plenty of time during the day to take care of your furry friend and play with them. “This gal rocks ! I she is kind and considerate she has saved my life . She had zero introduction with my dog who is a tyrant . About: I’ve been around dogs and cats ever since I was young, so I have a lot of experience with them both. Also, I’ve taken care of a few of my neighbors dogs over the years, mainly just dropping in to walk and feed them. I’m currently a student in college, but my availability is pretty open. I will be starting classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I’ll be available in the afternoons for those days. Besides that, I am open and available the rest of the week. Especially with my dog, I think patience is pretty important when taking care of pets. My dog is stubborn so getting her to go out can take some time and getting mad only makes it take longer. I also worked at a boarding facility/daycare for dogs for over a year, which gave me tons of experience with all sorts of dogs that had different needs.

About: I am a young professional who works 100% remote and is looking for a furry companion to keep me company during the week! I’ve had a dog of my own for 17 yrs and have dog sitted several dogs for an extended period of time, such as dog sitting during the week for 4 months. I work at home so I have plenty of time during the week to have some company. The only plans I typically have during the week is a 20-45 min workout and love to be outside. Since I work from home, having a companion or walk a dog is my excuse to get outside. I’m also a runner so I love to take dogs on a run w/ me or for a hike!

“Peter is an amazing dog person. My Dumpling loves him. One of the reasons I am sad from moving of San Mateo is that Dumpling will not have his weekly walks with Pete.”

Xianzhou M.
“I am writing with great enthusiasm to recommend my husband, Xianzhou, as a trusted caregiver for your beloved pet. As a devoted animal lover and experienced pet sitter, Xianzhou possesses a rare ability to earn the trust of furry companions almost instantly. He has provided customized care for a wide range of families, always with heart, responsibility, and attention to detail. Xianzhou has a deep sense of empathy toward animals. He patiently observes each pet’s personality and habits—whether it’s a shy cat that prefers quiet interaction or an energetic dog eager for adventurous walks, he always finds a way to make them feel safe and comfortable. Our adopted stray dog, Lucky, who once refused to go outside, now wags his tail with joy the moment he hears Xianzhou’s footsteps—an example of the trust he builds so naturally. Xianzhou understands that pets are cherished family members. After each visit, he shares updates with photos, notes on eating and bathroom routines, and even remembers each pet’s favorite scratching or petting spots. His thoroughness has earned him the trust of many long-term clients, especially when caring for elderly pets or those recovering from surgery who require extra attention. Beyond basic feeding and walking, Xianzhou offers thoughtful, customized care: He designs puzzle games and hiking routes for high-energy dogs. He prepares healthy, pet-friendly snacks for picky eaters. He uses his medical background to monitor pets’ well-being and records calming voice messages for those with separation anxiety. He keeps open communication with pet parents for full transparency. As someone who knows him best, I’ve seen countless moments where he went above and beyond—rushing a client’s pet to emergency care late at night or carefully jotting down each pet’s birthday in his notebook. If you are looking for a caregiver who follows best practices in animal care while treating your pet like family, Xianzhou is undoubtedly the ideal choice.”

Devina W.
“Devina is great with dogs. She took care of mine when I needed it most and followed all my instructions. Oscar also had meds that needed to be followed and she helped me with that thoroughly as well. She told me she had a few dogs of her own in the past that needed extra care, and I trust her with mine.”

Vivian L.

Mikaela F.
“Mikaela is a fantastic animal person! She’s the kindest most patient person I’ve ever seen handle any animal, “Miki” and I work at a small hobby farm with dogs, cats, horses, llamas, chickens, and more! One of our jobs is to shave the two Great Pyrenees and Australian Shepherd, non of which love the experience but Miki is so patient and calm that they have gone form dedicating in fear to greatly tolerating and even slightly enjoying the experience in a short amount of time, I believe this is a testament to Miki’s kindness towards animals that they all feel safe and secure with her. Miki is honestly one of the few people I would trust any of my animals with, feeding properly, medicating, taking out, get exercise and maintaining my animals daily routine.”

Margot R.

“Margo is a responsible and reliable petsitter/walker. She has been patient with my reactive dog and flexible with approaches to earn his trust Shes wonderful”
