“Marissa stayed with my 2 girls for 3 nights and took such great care of them! She treated them like they were her own and gave them lots of love and snuggles during some really bad thunderstorms that cause them a lot of anxiety. She sent me lots of pictures and communicated consistently throughout her stay. I have already booked her for another trip I’m taking next month. Highly recommend Marissa if you’re looking for an overnight sitter!”

“Isabel was an absolute delight! I was a little nervous booking with someone new, but the moment she came over to meet our dogs, I felt completely at ease. She kept us updated throughout our trip and sent plenty of photos. It was clear they were getting lots of love and attention—when we got home, they were relaxed and happy, so I knew they’d been well cared for. She will be my first call the next time I need someone to watch my boys.”

“Isabel was phenomenal with my three month old puppy. She took great care of him, followed my care schedule that I do with him. She did the same thing. My puppy requires a lot of care and constant supervision and she made sure everything was safe and sent me the cutest pics of my puppy throughout the day. I was able to go to work everyday relieved knowing that Isabella was taking care of my puppy!”

“Danna was wonderful! She did an amazing job taking care of our Golden Retriever while we were on vacation. Our home was left exactly how we left it. We were very happy that our pup was able to stay in her environment and was left in great hands. Would highly recommend Danna!”

“Professionalism at its best. Loving and caring. Hellen O watched my partner for 2 days and went above and beyond any expectations I had. Extremely dedicated to the animals in our lives.”

“Lucy was amazing house sitting with our French Bulldog, Eden. You can tell right away that she's great with animals, but she's also the most genuine, caring, enthusiastic, and honest person you'll ever meet. Her communication couldn't have been any better and she sent lots of pictures throughout the day. Eden (and all of us) will miss her until we return to Fort Lauderdale.”

“Samantha was absolutely exceptional. She showed up right on time and immediately put me at ease with how natural and confident she was with Lucky. He’s a large dog and not always the easiest to handle, but she managed him with such calm presence and ease — it was honestly impressive to watch. What stood out most was how quickly Lucky connected with her. He genuinely loved spending time with Samantha, which says everything. You can feel when someone truly cares, and she does. We’re so grateful we found her and will absolutely be coming back again and again. I fully trust her and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and truly great with animals.”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and genuine love for animals. I’ve had pets since I was very young and currently have a dog of my own, so I truly understand the care, attention, and patience pets need every day. I treat every pet like family, pay close attention to their unique personalities, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away 💗 I am a full-time college student with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which I prioritize during those days. Outside of my class schedule, I have a flexible routine and am available any other days of the week unless otherwise stated. I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved by giving them attention, playtime, and companionship based on their personality. I keep their environment clean, including water bowls, litter areas, and any messes. I also respect the client’s home, keep everything tidy, and follow all instructions carefully. I provide updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away.

About: I have the biggest heart for animals. I grew up with a golden retriever and 3 cats, but have been surrounded by friends and family’s animals my whole life. Many people in my town back home will have me walk their pups, stop in and let them out, and trust me to stay with their furry friends for days at a time. I have a very open class schedule so I am able to be very flexible and all over the place when it comes to to pet care I am still working on a solution to how I can keep pets in my apartment. But I am happy to stay as long as needed in homes to keep their pup company. I can so quick drop in visits or stay for a lengthy amount of time. I’d love to bring these dogs to the beach or on a walk on some trails!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hillsboro Ranches
We have now used Daniela and Mariana twice for house and dog sitting services, and we could not be more pleased. They truly go above and beyond! We have two dogs—one who is very easygoing, and another who is incredibly shy and afraid of everything, including new people. Remarkably, they have managed to gain the trust of our anxious Chow Chow, Nala. Their patience and skill are truly impressive. We will definitely use their services again in the future and highly recommend them!

Outstanding service. So pleasant, patient. We have an 11 yr old Chihuahua that is a rescue and very nervous. She took such great time with him helping to reduce his anxiety through walks and comforting belly rubs. We will hire Isabel again and again. What a joy she is to work with. So glad we found her. We encourage everyone to tip generously for the extra care she provides because she truly cares about YOUR baby. She's sincere in all she does. Thanks you, Isabel.

Ian stayed at my house for two weeks. He took good care of my little Rosie and my house. He is very flexible and a very good choice for a reliable person to stay in your home. His work schedule allows him to work from home so he was with Rosie most of the time.

Lisa took such good care of Yogi and on short notice. I could tell Yogi was attached to her. He followed her around as she was getting ready to leave when I got home. Right there, that told me Lisa was sweet and attentive to Yogi during the day and a half I was away. Definitely recommended.

As a pet owner of dog two dogs I would never really go on vacation because I was always worried about who would love and care for my babies like do, and then we found Neusa, a true blessing for our family. Neusa, is kind , loving , honest and takes amazing care of our dogs. I can honestly say I leave without having any stress or anxiety she picks up where I left off and her communication with us while we are away is great and sends great pictures as well. We are very grateful ☺️

Spirit was absolutely incredible!! We have never felt more comfortable on a trip knowing that our dogs were in such great hands. Spirit sent constant updates and photos which we loved. She was very communicative and had great attention to detail. She’s super sweet and caring, our dogs got lots of love and cuddles, I’m sure they already miss her! Thank you Spirit for going above and beyond, we’re so grateful for everything you did <3

Can’t say enough good things about Marissa! We had a few changes to our booking prior to her stay that she remained flexible on and was very communicative during our trip sending lots of pictures of our furbaby! The house was spotless when we got home and our baby was a very happy girl. I would definitely recommend and use Marissa again in the future, thanks for everything!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 4,395 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Hillsboro Ranches. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Hillsboro Ranches walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Hillsboro Ranches maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hillsboro Ranches choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hillsboro Ranches. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
