About: Animals have been at the heart of my life since day one. I grew up surrounded by pets and started riding and showing horses at just 4 years old — caring for animals of all kinds quickly became second nature to me. I have extensive experience working with both large and small animals, including time in the rescue world, caring for senior dogs, and helping animals with health challenges or behavioral issues. I’m especially passionate about giving extra patience, attention, and love to rescue dogs and those who need a little extra TLC. I am First Aid and CPR certified as well! Thanks to years of hands-on experience, I’m confident in handling a wide range of care situations, always approaching each pet with calm, compassion, and positivity. I’m also an active person and love getting outside for walks, playtime, and adventures with dogs of all energy levels. I work from home, so I am always around and very flexible! I can’t wait to meet your furry family member and give them the care, attention, and fun they deserve! Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine, as I work from home and care for my own dog, Jupiter. This flexibility allows me to prioritize the needs of both my pup and any additional pets in my care, ensuring they receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. My dog’s lifestyle and well-being are always my top priorities. When choosing a home, one of the most important factors was making sure it would be a safe, comfortable, and enriching space for him. We now have a large, securely fenced yard with freshly planted sod — perfect for play, exercise, and relaxation. I bring that same level of care and attention to every pet I look after, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for in my home or in my care.

“Susan is the best! She watched our 65lb dog and two cats in our home for spring break and I cannot begin to express my gratitude for her! She came over the week before we left and ran through the routines with us which gave us some ease and allowed for our pets to get to know her! When we were away, We received pictures and communication every day from her and even started chatting about recipes and foods we enjoyed! It is always nice to have a reliable sitter but Susan is so warm and knowledgeable, it was easy to feel like we were talking to a friend! We will definitely be reaching out to Susan this summer to watch over our furries again! Thank you!!!”

About: My mini pin was 16 when he passed. He lived a long healthy life. My English bulldog had a major ACL surgery which I nursed him from after. I had him since he was 6 weeks old until he passed. He was my heart & soul. My Dogo Argentino is 2 years old & she is so happy & healthy. I work Monday - Friday 2:30PM EST- 11:00 PM EST. I can babysit overnights & walk dogs before work or on my break at 6:30 if you live close enough. I am available almost all weekends but please check with me in advance in case I am not home. In my home, I just treat my cat with her medications as she is a senior. For other animals, I can take them for walks, have play time with them, ensure feeding/medication available to administer.

12. Madeline B.
“I’ve had the privilege of calling Maddy my best friend for many years, and I can say with complete confidence that any dog would be lucky to be in her care. Maddy has spent over 20 years deeply involved in the equestrian world—riding, training, and working hands-on as a farm hand. From early mornings to long, hot summer days at the barn, she’s always been deeply committed to the animals around her. Her experience caring for horses naturally gave her an incredible intuition and patience with all animals, especially dogs. She recently moved to Florida from D.C. with her own dog, Jupiter, a loyal and active cattle dog who is a perfect reflection of the love and structure Maddy provides. Maddy has a calm and grounded energy that dogs gravitate toward, and she treats every animal as if it were her own. As she steps into the dog walking and fostering world, I know she’ll bring the same care, reliability, and heart that she’s shown in her lifelong dedication to animals.”

“My partner Andrea & I have coparented Nala for as long as we have adopted her for the last two years. Andrea walks our 90 pound dog every day & has complete control over her. We take great pride in helping our dog Nala in feeling confident & happy. She is our greatest joy & she shows her love to our dog. Nala is such a gift to us both & Andrea ensures Nala is always safe & happy. Nala sleeps in the bed with us, gets puppy ice cream & goes on trips with us. Andrea would be a great baby sitter to any dog.”
