“Jenniffer was amazing with our little Frenchie!!! She arrived early, stayed late, and helped with feeding and medication. Her enthusiasm and communication are exceptional! We can't say enough kind words and appreciation for her.”

“Nicky was the most professional person. Arriving a few minutes early to ensure he got everything he needed done prior to arriving (securing parking, front desk reception etc.). Asked thoughtful questions about the care of our dog. Checked in throughout the day, and ensured our dog was walked throughout the day. Our dog LOVED him And even gave him her paw (which she only does when she is comfortable). You could tell he truly cares about dogs/animals. Anytime Nicky is free we’d love for him to sit our dog Bagheera any day. Could not ask for a better sitter.”

“Marissa took wonderful care of our house and three dogs. The house was clean when we returned, communication was great throughout the stay, and it was obvious our dogs were well cared for and loved on while we were away. We came home to happy pups and total peace of mind. I have already booked her again!”

“Catherine did an amazing job cat sitting my fur baby, I always get anxious leaving her but I know she was in great hands so I could be at ease. Catherine has really kind, warm energy, and a big heart. She sent lots of photos and updates, took great care of our home too. I will definitely rebook her in the future for when we travel. Thank you Catherine!”

I’m available most anytime with notification. I am always working but if I have a pet to care for it will be the first priority. “This was my first time using the app and was nervous leaving my babies and having someone stay at my home without knowing them. I searched through many profiles and immediately felt at ease with Jaclyn, she was responsive and proactive. We had a meet and greet and Maia instantly came to her and settled on Jaclyn’s lap while we talked logistics. I was sold when Jaclyn naturally just started petting her and said to both my pups, we’re going to have a good time together. I felt at ease leaving them with Jaclyn, she has a natural calming energy. During her time with my pups she was communicative and followed instructions perfectly. Both my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised to find the home exactly as we left it. I highly recommend Jacklyn and will most definitely work with her in the future.”

About: Ownership and volunteer rescue work has broadened our knowledge of basic dog training and behavior, We're huge Bully Lovers with extensive experience specifically with the Bully breed. We're very comfortable watching multiple dogs at the same time, though we do prefer a smaller pack to be able to give each and every pet sufficient time and love. Some pet sitting gigs have included cats, parrots, fish, toads, tortoises, cockatoos, finches and chickens, but specifically dogs of all age and size. Due to our pack, we're unable to watch your baby in our home, but we'll make sure to do an amazing job at yours. Experience walking dogs as small as Jack Russells and as big as Italian Sheepdogs and are also comfortable administering medication to your fur baby. A life experience that has broadened our knowledge: At the beginning of Covid, our 2 boys started fighting. We hired an amazing trainer who enhanced our knowledge in dog behavior, dog fight prevention utilizing tools such as break sticks, medication and behavior modification techniques. We could go on and on about our love for dogs and experience, but why not just book us for an interview so we can meet your furbaby (babies)? You won't regret it. We work full time, but can walk your baby before work, during lunch (distance permitting) and after work. If hired to house sit, I would go to your home after work and stay there until I would have to go to work in the morning. As an experienced dog walker, we're very familiar with changes in a dog's behavior exhibiting fear or leash aggression. I always carry diversion tools such as treats, etc to walk your pet (especially on the opposite side of the street when another dog approaches). When home sitting, I will follow all your instructions to a T, providing your baby with excellent care and love.
About: Hey there! I'm Agustina, and I’m a Senior at Florida State University planning on going into the medical field 🍢❤️ Ever since I can remember, I've had this deep longing to have a furry friend by my side. Animals have always been my passion – in fact, back in 5th grade, my dream job was to become a zookeeper just to be close to them. I love all types of animals... small rodents, dogs, cats, reptiles, birds. I love them all 😊 While I never had a pet of my own growing up, my parents often allowed me to care for our friends' and family's pets. Since I was 9, I've been changing litter, feeding, playing, and ensuring the well-being of various furry companions, ranging from dogs and cats to hamsters, fish, and even ferrets and birds. I'm even considering fostering a dog or cat in the near future. Thankfully one of my roommates has the sweetest chocolate lab named Luther, who is 9 and loves to sleep all day! 😴 Animals hold a special place in my heart, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my love for them by caring for other fur babies 🥰 By the way, my timing is flexible since I am taking lots of online classes – feel free to reach out anytime! My calendar is always updated on the app, so we can easily coordinate :) Looking forward to connecting! I’m currently a college student with online classes this summer. I’m available mostly anytime over the summer, just reach out and check with me! :) Despite never having had a dog, my deep desire for one fuels my dedication to pet care. I'm not able to host pets at my house, however, I'm willing to travel to clients' homes, ensuring their pets receive attentive care.

It was wonderful having Marissa do drop in visits at our home. Communication was excellent with plenty of pictures and updates. She had great flexibility with our schedule, even adjusting to a change we needed. We definitely recommend Marissa and are looking forward to booking her again!

Julia did a great job caring for our dog and cat and our home. She even extended her stay one extra day when we asked her to. All of our instructions were followed and the animals were happy. We would certainly hire her again and recommend her to others. Thanks, Julia.!!!

Kara was amazing! She took care of our 5 big dogs for two whole weeks while we were out of the country. She stayed the night at the house at our request and spent most of the day at the house as well. Dogs were happy the whole time and she did a great job even getting them their vitamins and different amounts of food and toppings. She also kept the house tidy which is a full time job with 5 dogs! Was nice coming home to happy pups and a clean house after two weeks. Definitely would use her again and recommend to anyone!
We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Lili absolutely adored him. Every time he was around, she wanted to play with him and barely paid any attention to us, which says everything about how comfortable and happy she felt in his care. He was incredibly responsive and kept us updated throughout our time away with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. It was very obvious that he genuinely loves dogs and knows how to connect with them. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable to watch their dog!

Nicole was absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, she was professional, communicative, attentive, and genuinely caring. It was immediately clear how much she truly loves animals, and our dog absolutely adored her. While we were away, Nicole kept us updated regularly and gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing our dog was in such great hands. She treated him like her own, and we could tell he was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for the entire time. Finding someone you fully trust with your dog is not easy, and Nicole exceeded every expectation we had. She is dependable, thoughtful, kind, and clearly takes great pride in the care she provides. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely wonderful sitter. Thank you again, Nicole, for taking such amazing care of our dog. We are incredibly grateful and look forward to booking with you again soon.

Elizabeth was amazing with Benny and Fiyero. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly attentive, kept us updated the whole time, and made us feel so comfortable being away from them. You can tell she truly cares about the dogs and takes the responsibility seriously. Both of our pups were happy and relaxed when we got back, which says everything. We’d absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, dependable, and great with dogs.

Kristina was absolutely amazing!!! She has so much energy, which is so valuable since I have 2 huskies. She took them on multiple walks a day, took them to the nearby dog park + played with them in our backyard. One of my dogs takes medication for his epilepsy, and she was a pro at administering. She was very communicative, giving me regular updates + photos. She also goes over + beyond!! I didn't expect or request any cleaning, but she insisted, washing bed linens + remaking the bed, cleaning the bathroom, and vacuuming the house! She also thoroughly brushed our dogs, making their coats look better than ever! She even left us all treats on her way out!! My pets had a blast with her + it was great to have someone so reliable + trustworthy so that we could focus on enjoying our vacation. We can't wait to hire her again in the future!

I needed a last minute sitter because I was leaving town for a couple days and Amor was able to help me take care of my Uzi boy! I was nervous because I wasn’t sure how my dog would do given he didn’t know her but she was great and Uzi loved her ! She sent me constant photos and updates on my boy and was very thorough throughout the whole process all the way down to how he ate and what he liked to do. She made sure he was always comfortable and super kind and compassionate towards him.Very thankful for her and will definitely continue working with her in the future when I need a sitter !

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred North Andrews Gardens walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in North Andrews Gardens maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in North Andrews Gardens choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
