“Josie is amazing! She is very reliable and takes great care of your fur babies. She did drop in visits for my three kitties while I was away. Josie is awesome with communication too, I didn’t have to worry at all while I was away! I have a hard time trusting people, but I put full faith and confidence in Josie. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be calling her for my future pet sitting needs. Thank you again Josie for taking care of my babies. 💕 Rachael and the Kitties x3”
“Sandy was amazing! When I first contacted her, I needed a last minute sitter. I had never used a sitter or Rover before. She responded promptly and offered to do a meet & greet, working with my schedule before I left town. For each check-in, she provided detailed reports and pictures of each of our kitties. She went above and beyond when one of our cats had to be picked up from our nearby vet. I felt so much better on vacation knowing our kitties were in amazing hands. We will absolutely use her services again!”

About: I was born into a home with a family dog who only liked to sleep under my crib! I have been surrounded by animals my whole life– Treating them with love and respect is a core part of who I am. My biggest passion in life is being around dogs! I have experience in walking, sitting, feeding, cleaning, playing, and of course cuddling with all kinds of animals!! I can handle high energy dogs, senior dogs, big dogs, small dogs, you name it! Pick me as your baby’s next best friend and you can guarantee we will have a great time! Currently I am taking classes online for college. This means I have an entirely open schedule and all of the time in the world to dedicate to your precious babies! If a time works well for you, it probably works for me too! As a routine lover myself, I understand how stressful it can be to have your whole day uprooted! That’s why I put lots of effort into maintaining what your pup loves and expects out of a fun filled day. If they need to spin around three times before a walk? I’ll make some spinning room! If they need to be fed at a specific time each day? I’ll be on the dot each time! If they don’t care at all? Great!! No matter what, I am dedicated to creating an environment where me and your pup can become the best of friends.
“Luzmar was amazing! Her update pictures, her care for our beloved Lima, and her love for animals is a true statement to her work. We are 10000% calling her again and recommending her! Thank you Luzmar! Muchas gracias 🫶🏼”
“Krystal is such an attentive and caring sitter for my cat Zuko! He’s usually shy around other people but he always greets and happy to see Krystal ! She also gets the best pictures of Zuko for the Rover cards!”

“Ali is PHENOMENAL. Our already high maintenance dog had unexpected surgery before our trip, and Ali was comfortable with giving meds, applying ointment, and sending us detailed updates. Her patience, dog behavior knowledge, and training skills were very helpful with our unpredictable dogs. Thank you Ali!”

About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

About: I have had animals (dogs, cats, livestock and more) my entire life. I grew up on a farm know what animals need and how they interact with people and other animals. I’m available most anytime with notification. I am always working but if I have a pet to care for it will be the first priority. I am able to stop at your home feed, walk, clean up after them and myself. Stay with them as needed. Available for stay over night when needed.
“Gary is a reliable and and trustworthy person! He took care of our 4-month-old kitten for a week, regularly sending me photos and detailed daily updates that provided me with peace of mind while we were away. I highly recommend him!”

“I would give Eva 10 stars if I could. She did drop in visits for our two large dogs while we were out of town. One of our dogs was not feeling well, she went back during the day to check on him. We received a lot of photos and communication was great. She treated our dogs like they were her own! She went above and beyond with everything. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.”

“Kara is the best. She is very reliable and professional and always kept me abreast of any updates while caring for my cat. I highly recommend her fr either your cat or dog and will sure be using her services again. ☺️💥💫🌟”

“Genesis was so great! She was very detailed and sent a lot of pictures. She kept us updated. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone in need.”

“We booked Nicole for last-minute drop-in visits for our dogs, and she truly saved us. She was quick to respond, always on time, and so kind with our pups. She sent photos and updates each visit, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Our dogs adored her, and we would happily book with Nicole again.”

“Marissa has been so helpful! Our puppy is so energetic, so young, and honestly a handful and Marissa has more than kept up. She makes sure our pup is cared for and she keeps us updated with everything that happens, we feel so comfortable with her around Winston. He can be a little needy, and truthfully so is his dad (lol) and she has been happy to help with all of our specific instructions. We couldn’t have had a better experience!”

Page was excellent! She was super communicative, handled everything like a pro, took AMAZING photos of my boy, and handled my OCD with the litter like we’ve known each other forever! I have literally not had a better experience with anyone on Rover. She stayed extra, loved Loki like her own, and was generally so so amazing. She helped my anxiety with leaving him for so long! Could not have been a better fit. Page is top notch and I will be booking with her for the foreseeable future, even some walks with Loki! Thank you again, Page!!!

This was my first time with a cat sitter and Gary put me at so much ease. I trusted his judgement, but he checked in when he had direct questions about something I might have forgotten. I didnt understand the Rover check in messages at first but came to really look forward to pics and updates about my girls. He was also soooooo good with my girls. I have two cats. One is usually a little shy at first and takes time to approach people. But she was very comfortable rolling over and slow blinking for gary within 10 minutes of him stepping into my apartment. It was comforting knowing my girls were enjoying some parts of my time away with Gary there to provide them some comfort and company.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Kayla. She is great with our two cats, including our elderly cat who needs medication, and we feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in her care. They clearly enjoy her visits and are relaxed and happy when we get home. We especially appreciate the photos and updates she sends—it really gives us peace of mind to know she’s keeping such a close eye on them. We would absolutely recommend her!

Genesis was an amazing sitter. She loved my kitties like they were her own. Showering them with love, pets, attention, and always kept me updated with lots of photos and videos. She also helped with up-keeping my plants while I was away. I completely recommend her to any cat parent ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
