About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

Gary also goes above and beyond, cleaning up dog tracks on the floor or offering to take care of cleaning the kitty’s litter box if necessary. And this all happens in a 30 minute drop-in! He sends detailed reports on a the animals and plenty of pictures too. I couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend Gary. And I haven’t even mentioned how dependable he is or what an interesting person he is to know! And Enzo seems to be warming up to him quite well.”

You're welcome to bring your pets crate , bed, food , toys, favorite treats or anything that will make them feel more at home. About: I’ve taken care of small dogs since I was 13 years old. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, especially small dogs. I have my own senior chihuahua that is important to note when considering me. I love cuddles and pets and certainly am not opposed to cuddles on the couch at night. I am a school psychologist so my typical work day is a school schedule (8:30-2:30). I have off weekends, holidays and evenings so I can be available a lot of the time or as little as you need. I live alone with my small dog in our 2 bedroom condo. It is a very quiet and walkable neighborhood with a park nearby. I will treat your home with respect and care and I can welcome your pup into my home with the same respect and care as if I were in your own home.

About: I have been a kennel technician and an animal care specialist at animal control. I have numerous experience with cats and dogs. I have helped delivered puppies, took care of all animals for extended periods and have overnight dog sat for more than 2 weeks at a time. I am currently working but my hours are flexible and i am in nursing school full time so i am available as much as possible. I can fit your pet into my routine with no problem! I have a fenced yard and a dog at home. I will care for the animals in the clients home but not my own due to my dog not being so well with animals since he was abused very heavily before he came to me. Now he’s a spoiled baby!! I will follow a schedule with no problem and reassure my client with constant communication and understanding that their animal is being 100% loved and cared for.

About: Small dogs are my specialty! Neighbors, friends, colleagues and family turn to me without hesitation for consistent, safe, reliable pet care while they are away or in last minute emergency situations . I have experience with senior pets, pets that are in need of medication, pets that have CHF, pets with skin, problems/ issues, or allergies, and vestibular disease. I work a full-time job with a one hour lunch period (to attend to your pets needs midday) Well behaved pets (with the owners approval or owners request) can be brought with me to work in a very small 3 person quiet office setting. Monday-Friday and I am available all weekend. I have experience with crate trained, free roaming, in-home hospice situations with multiple (and sometimes time sensitive medications) , CHF(congestive heart failure) and special feeding instructions. I am also able to take your pet on long walks beyond the yard and even for a few mile run/jog (for dogs whose owners request this service, usually my larger breed pet owners or working dog pet owners).
