About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

About: I've always had a deep connection with dogs. I bring a very calming canine energy, and trust is gained quickly. Anyone who has a dog(s) and knows me well will ask me to sit for them when they can't provide the care their dogs need. When I retired from my successful 45 year sales career, I had planned on getting a dog. As it's turned out, my friends and neighbors with dogs have kept me very busy. And it's been the most fulfilling and gratifying chapter of my life. I just have an innate ability to connect with dogs and what I give to them, they give back to me. It's been a very rewarding time in my life now that I get to do what I love best: to be surrounded with canine company. And I can unequivocally and honestly say I'm very good at it. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by them, and now I care for 8 of my own—1 dog, 6 cats, and a bearded dragon. My pets are truly my whole world. I have experience with animals of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets requiring special care. One of my cats had diabetes, and I lovingly administered insulin twice a day, along with other medications. I understand how much your pets mean to you, and I treat every animal I care for like family I only work on the weekends, which gives me open availability and full commitment to caring for your pets with lots of love and attention. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, they’ll receive plenty of love, affection, and exercise. I have a large grassy field right next to my apartment or I use the sniff spot app where I can rent a backyard for as long as I need where dogs can walk, run, and play and even swim to burn off energy! If your pet is staying in my home, I do ask that they be crate trained, as I have cats and want to ensure everyone’s safety if I need to step out. That said, if your pet is well-behaved around cats, I’m completely comfortable letting them sleep outside of the crate and making them feel right at home.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life. Right now i own a extremely friendly cat. But I have dog care experience my whole life. Your dog will get plenty of play and exercise when they are with me. I live whiten short walking distance of two really nice parks. I am a huge animal lover so now need to worry about your pet not getting any affection from me. I have a large apartment so when your pet is inside my home it will have plenty of roaming room or plenty of carpet space for a nap. I am extremely flexible with times and dog sizes. I was really worried about booking any pet sitter because my older kitty was just diagnosed with early kidney disease. Sammie needs to be fed a special diet in a separate room from my other cat (who will eat anything and everything!). Courtney was extremely caring with both of my kitties and followed instructions perfectly. If I could give 10 stars I would and I definitely will hire Courtney for my next trip.
Page was excellent! She was super communicative, handled everything like a pro, took AMAZING photos of my boy, and handled my OCD with the litter like we’ve known each other forever! I just returned from my trip and I’m hoping I am typing correctly here but I just wanted to say that Ashley was THE PERFECT sitter for my sweet boy cat. I was able to book her at the last minute and she not only came to my rescue but surpassed all my expectations for what one looks for in a cat sitter.
