“Marianne was a great sitter! Communication was a breeze and ever so accommodating. I had a few modification with my reservation and she always adjusted easily and worked with my changes. My pets loved her! I got plenty of updates, pictures and videos during her drop in visits. I will definitely use again and recommend.”

“Ariel was great. We scheduled a 30 minute mid day visit. Ariel was right on time, gave us many photos and an update of the visit. We will definitely rely on Ariel in the future.”

“Kianna was great. She interacted very well with our cat and took great care of her. We also appreciated the instant and super friendly communication with Kianna. We highly recommend Kianna.”

“Maya was wonderful with our Bulldog Bruno. She was consistently on time for her drop-in visits, is very mature and responsible. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again.”

“Ariella was such a sweetheart and did very well with my two cats. I have one who is notoriously difficult and ran away from the last petsitter (not a Rover sitter), but she was able to get him to eat and he didn’t hide the entire time. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of someone to care for their pets while they’re away. They’ll be in good hands with Ariella!”

“Rachel helped me out when I suddenly needed to go out of town. I don’t usually use dog care providers so I was stressed about the whole situation. Rachel was great and communication was awesome! The dogs seemed un-stressed and all check-ins went smoothly.”
About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.
“Kyla was absolutely wonderful with our pets while we were away for the weekend. She came by ahead of time to meet Kansas (our dog) and Jasmine (our cat), learn their routines, and make sure she understood how everything worked. While we were gone, she came twice a day to give them their medicine—morning and night—and took Kansas on nice walks. Even though our cat tends to hide from most people, Kyla still made sure she was cared for and comfortable. She also brought in our packages and kept us updated, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Kyla was responsive, reliable, and so kind—we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Gheraldine did a good job with my cat. Feeding daily - changing the water, cleaning the litter box and giving my cat affection. She communicated if she would be late or early. I do recommend her.”

“Luzmar was a fantastic sitter. She showed on time, gave great updates and our doggo really enjoyed her company. Didn’t have to worry about a thing while we were gone as she was very professional and clearly was very competent at her job! Will book again! Thanks Luzmar!”

“Kelly accepted another short notice request, then extended it a day after my work schedule changed last minute. She is a natural with the dogs, and I was able to focus on my job while out of town knowing the pups were well attended to.”
“Genesis was so great! She was very detailed and sent a lot of pictures. She kept us updated. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone in need.”

Palm Aire cat parents share their Rover experiences
Before meeting with Heather, I had never meet anyone so enthusiastic to care for Cats. She truly loves what she does and it’s not a job for her, She loves and cares for them. She not only feeds them and gives them meds but she play with them , pays attention to them and brings them toys. We are grateful for Heather’s thoughtfulness and dedication.

This was my first time with a cat sitter and Gary put me at so much ease. I trusted his judgement, but he checked in when he had direct questions about something I might have forgotten. I didnt understand the Rover check in messages at first but came to really look forward to pics and updates about my girls. He was also soooooo good with my girls. I have two cats. One is usually a little shy at first and takes time to approach people. But she was very comfortable rolling over and slow blinking for gary within 10 minutes of him stepping into my apartment. It was comforting knowing my girls were enjoying some parts of my time away with Gary there to provide them some comfort and company.
