“Isabel was an absolute delight! I was a little nervous booking with someone new, but the moment she came over to meet our dogs, I felt completely at ease. She kept us updated throughout our trip and sent plenty of photos. It was clear they were getting lots of love and attention—when we got home, they were relaxed and happy, so I knew they’d been well cared for. She will be my first call the next time I need someone to watch my boys.”

“Izabela was fantastic. 10 stars, not 5! She is kind, patient, communicative and loved our dog, Brady! Our air conditioning went out over the weekend when she was there, and she was a trooper working through all of it. Can't say enough good things about her. Already hired her again for this week!!!”

They have never been disappointed by my services as I have shown my commitment to their loving fur babies! I have a very flexible part-time job which allows me to make time for pet sitting. I am also a college student who is available on weekends and some weekdays. I have a family that loves dogs, and a kind playful dog myself! Around my house I have mesh gates around my house if needed to separate them. I also have a crate that fits medium size dogs with fences to create its private space if needed.

About: I have owned a dog since I was born. I’ve watched plenty of my neighbors and friends dogs for them while they were on vacation and I also know how to deal with dogs with anxiety. I have semi trained some dogs and know how to control dogs. I work weekday mornings from 9am–1pm, Tuesday through Friday, so I’m available every afternoon and weekend for pet care, including walks, drop-ins, sitting, and giving your pets plenty of attention and love. For boarding, the dogs would be allowed on furniture and beds and less told otherwise by client we do have a backyard with a partial fence and a good neighborhood to walk the dog around

About: I've been around animals my entire life, growing up with cats and continuing to care for my current cat, Vin. Through those experiences, I've become comfortable with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, playtime, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention or care. During my time serving in the U.S. Air Force, I regularly house sat and cared for the pets of coworkers while they were away. This included providing companionship, maintaining feeding schedules, exercise, walks, and ensuring pets stayed comfortable in their familiar environment while their owners were gone. My military background taught me responsibility, attention to detail, and reliability; qualities I bring to every pet I care for. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I strive to provide the same level of care and communication that I would want for my own pets. I currently have a flexible schedule and can accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. I'm available weekdays, weekends, and many holidays, and I strive to work with pet owners to ensure their pets receive reliable and consistent care. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pets and your home. I take the time to learn your pet's routines, preferences, and any special instructions so I can provide consistent care while you're away. During walks, I prioritize secure leash handling, awareness of our surroundings, and your pet's comfort and safety. During drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and household routines carefully while ensuring your home remains secure and respected. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big decision.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and genuine love for animals. I’ve had pets since I was very young and currently have a dog of my own, so I truly understand the care, attention, and patience pets need every day. I treat every pet like family, pay close attention to their unique personalities, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away 💗 I am a full-time college student with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which I prioritize during those days. Outside of my class schedule, I have a flexible routine and am available any other days of the week unless otherwise stated. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I’m able to dedicate consistent time and attention to making sure pets are well cared for, comfortable, and on their normal routine. In a client’s home, I care for pets by following their usual routine for feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, and any medications. I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved by giving them attention, playtime, and companionship based on their personality. I keep their environment clean, including water bowls, litter areas, and any messes. I also respect the client’s home, keep everything tidy, and follow all instructions carefully. I provide updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away.

“Lisa took such good care of Yogi and on short notice. I could tell Yogi was attached to her. He followed her around as she was getting ready to leave when I got home. Right there, that told me Lisa was sweet and attentive to Yogi during the day and a half I was away. Definitely recommended.”

About: I’ve been talking care of fur babies since I was 9. I’ve never lived my life without a fellow companion to walk with me along the way. I learned at a very young age that they’re not just animals, that they are our loving caring family members as well! I’ve been my friends and families first option to pet sit ever since I was 9 years old. I walk, play, bathe, cuddle, lay out to enjoy the sun and even talk to them like I’m talking to a human so they don’t ever feel lonely. The most important part to finding a pet sitter is to find someone that will love your animals like you do. I pride myself to always have compassion and patience for the wild chaotic puppies that are still going through potty training and the senior fur babies who need extra care and deserve tons of love and everything in between! I’m currently a college student in town for the summer and am seeking a current job. At the moment I’ve been dog and cat sitting for family friends and have decided to try to make it my summer gig! While I’d love to have your fur babies in my home, I cannot do that as I have a fur baby who is not used to being with other animals. I will happily come to your home and follow any requests you may have to enhance your fur baby is greatly taken care of! The most important thing about enhancing safety and happiness is to never leave them alone and to make sure they know someone is always there!

As a pet owner of dog two dogs I would never really go on vacation because I was always worried about who would love and care for my babies like do, and then we found Neusa, a true blessing for our family. Neusa, is kind , loving , honest and takes amazing care of our dogs. I can honestly say I leave without having any stress or anxiety she picks up where I left off and her communication with us while we are away is great and sends great pictures as well. We are very grateful ☺️

Isabel was an absolute delight! She will be my first call the next time I need someone to watch my boys.

Can’t say enough good things about Marissa! We had a few changes to our booking prior to her stay that she remained flexible on and was very communicative during our trip sending lots of pictures of our furbaby! The house was spotless when we got home and our baby was a very happy girl. I would definitely recommend and use Marissa again in the future, thanks for everything!

Deniro was great from start to finish. During our meet and greet, he had a nice, positive energy, and I could tell right away he was a responsible young man. My dog can be a bit of a handful, she’s injured, full of energy, can’t go on walks, and doesn’t like being alone. She also needs daily medication. Deniro managed all of that beautifully. His communication was excellent, and he sent me thoughtful updates and photos that gave me total peace of mind. I never had a single concern while I was away. I highly recommend him and would absolutely have him watch my dog again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Hillsboro Pines walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Hillsboro Pines maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hillsboro Pines choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
