About: I have been a life long multi-pet owner. Animals have been my passion my entire life and I recently moved to the area to continue to grow that passion into a career. I am currently attending veterinary school and I am hoping to utilize the flexible scheduling of pet sitting and care to continue my passions off campus. I do come from working in small animal emergency hospital, so I am equipped to deal with any situation and can ensure those with special needs are cared for properly when you are away. I’m currently commuting to and in school five days a week. My best availability is Friday afternoon through Sunday. I have so vary degrees of flexibility on holidays, or when classes are not in session. My care can be as simple as multiple visits and play sessions. Or I can spend the entire day with your pet. No matter what you can rest assured every need will be met with the best attention to detail needed for your pet. I will be providing care for your pet in your own home and walking in your neighborhood. I am pretty flexible and have reliable transportation so if you’d prefer your pet to go to a specific place or park or close hike, I can do that as well. In these hotter months I try to keep walks to mornings before 9am and evenings after 7pm due the heat and temperature of the ground.
“Courtney is an outstanding dog professional, experienced, confident, reliable, honest, on time, and she has the greatest personality. We needed an experienced dog sitter & handler for our dog Chuck to sit for an entire day and evening at our house. Courtney turned out to be the perfect Rover-choice, in full agreement with her great reviews! Chuck is a three year old high energy working line sable German Shepherd police dog. He was born, raised, and trained in Germany. Courtney and Chuck quickly bonded. She quickly learned the few German commands needed for sitting and walking purpose. She also quickly learned about the personality and traits of a dog like Chuck from a write-up summary that we handed over. Courtney kept updating us during her sit, walk, play, and feeding. She also sent us pictures. Chuck clearly fell in love with Courtney. When she left he was whining and he did not want her to leave 😀. Courtney is simply the best of the best!”

“Very sweet lady! Did a great job watching the house and our pets! Kept in touch with us while we were out of the state. Sent cute pictures of the dogs and cats! I would ask her to housesit/ pet sit again!”

About: Hello, my name is Charlie! I have been a dog owner for 13+ years and recently said goodbye to my best friend. I have missed having a dog around and started pet sitting for friends and family and absolutely loved it. I have a house in Glendale with a fenced in backyard in a very safe neighborhood. So whether it's a day time visit or a fortnight stay, I have exactly what you need. My top priority is SAFETY and I will watch your dog like a hawk while they are with me. I know the hardest part of travel is leaving your pet with a stranger so I strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable. I am a part time actor and have a very open schedule so your pet will never be alone for long periods of time. I love to cuddle on the couch, take walks around the neighborhood or play in the yard. Please let me know if you have any questions for concerns, thanks! I am a part time actor so I have a lot of free time waiting around for auditions haha! I typically spend some time at the gym but otherwise I am home all day and available for your pets! I have a fenced-in backyard in a very safe, walkable, neighborhood. My top priority is safety and I promise to keep a close eye on your dog especially when outdoors. I have no other pets in the home so they will get all my focus and attention and I do not invite others over while your pets are here, so there will absolutely be no strangers around them. Happy to accommodate any special requests (medications, vet visits, feeding requirements, necessary lullabies lol)

“It was our first time leaving our 12 week old puppy to go out to dinner for our anniversary. Cheslea and Isla got along great and our puppy was happy and well loved when we got home! Very happy we found Cheslea?”

“Tamar was fantastic with my four-year-old husky. She has a husky herself so she understood the nuances. She was very attentive and stayed for long periods of time. She sent a lot of pictures and updates. The communication is superb and follow up was really appreciated. Tamar was very respectful of my house, I definitely recommend using Tamar for housesitting.”

“We hired Lynae for an overnight at our house so my husband and I could get away for a weekend, and I cannot say enough good things about her!! She was super professional yet personable and our pup just loved her! Lynae confirmed her visit a couple of days prior, and then also messaged us to let us know she was enroute, and arrived precisely on time. During her visit, she regularly updated us by text to let us know that pup was doing well and that they were having a great time. 5 stars all-around and will DEFINITELY hire again!!! Thanks Lynae!!”

“Kiyomi took such good care of our two dogs while our family was on vacation that we were able to truly enjoy our vacation without worrying about anything. Our lucky dogs got more walks than they get with us on a normal basis, and she even did some light training or reinforcement of training and games with them to keep their interest up. She sent batches pf photos daily with an update of what they did that day which our kids loved since they missed the dogs so much. And our dogs looked so happy and relaxed in the photos - I could tell they were very comfortable with Kiyomi. Would definitely rebook Kiyomi the next time we are out of town.”

About: I’m a compassionate, dependable animal lover who understands how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to keeping each pet comfortable, safe, and loved while their family is away. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I’ll follow their normal routine and give them personalized care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel completely at ease. During this Summer I’m taking a couple of college online courses, therefore it gives me the freedom to prioritize your pet needs while giving myself the freedom to get my academic work done in my free time. I care for each pet according to their individual routine, personality, and comfort level. In a client’s home, I follow all feeding, medication, playtime, walking, and litter-box instructions carefully while keeping the space clean, calm, and secure. I give cats time to approach me at their own pace and provide affection, play, or quiet companionship based on what makes them feel safest. I also send regular photo and message updates so pet parents can feel reassured while they are away.
“Deana was so kind and trustworthy. She seems to be the first Rover that my very spoiled maldita actually liked and felt comfortable with in a short period of time. She knew exactly how to care for dogs that are special in character, and I can tell Deana has a good heart for our furry babies. She's really cool too and very easy to talk to. She sent me photos and gave me updates! Highly recommended! So happy to have her care for our Wendie, and will definitely have her care for my spoiled girl again whenever we need to go Universal Studios and Disneyland! Hope she takes us back! THANK YOU D!”

“Hailey was amazing! She shared pictures while watching Sam, took him on walks, and really followed our requests. We felt very comfortable with Hailey in our home and taking care of Samwise while we were out of town.”

“Best pet sitter ever! Sarah watched our puppy at the last minute, and I couldn't be more grateful to have found such a loving, caring sitter. Sarah was great with handling our puppy's additional needs and made her feel loved and cared for in her family's absence. We were so happy to get frequent photos of our puppy enjoying her days and felt comforted that we left her with such an invested, present sitter. We could tell Sarah went above and beyond, and she will be asked back again, absolutely! Very thankful!”

“Monika was very communicative and sent regular updates and photos. I was grateful Monika agreed to cat sit last minute and felt confident leaving my cat in her care.”

About: I've been a doggie-sitter for over 20 years. One client was every year, for 2 months at a time. It is my passion - I simply love dogs, they are the best people! I do this full-time. I come to your home to doggie-sit, for long or short periods of time, as well as overnight, if needed. I can make special visits for your dog's needs... potty-time, playtime or feeding. I sit only for dogs, as I'm allergic to cats. Although I have been a caregiver for the elderly for many years, I wish to devote my time to dogs now - the bigger the better - those gentle giants! I come to you. I doggie-sit at your home and can walk your dog(s) and take them where ever needed (the park or vet). Or I can play with them and love on them at your home. I can give any medications, and I'm dependable with a schedule. All dogs seem to love me. I look forward to meeting your wonderful doggies. Because I live in an apartment I can't have dogs at my place, although it would be heaven!

“Tatiana was AMAZING. She watched a combined crew of four dogs & two cats during our family vacation, and took wonderful care of them. She was communicative, loving, took fantastic photos to keep us updated, and left our house in better shape than she found it. We highly, highly recommend her!”

About: I been taking care of dogs since I remember… I would love your dog as if it was my own… I am very patient with puppies & willing to train them while they spend some time at my casita. I currently have the most perfect work schedule with a lot of availability that I would love to take care of your furry babies on my days off. I have a fenced backyard! A lot of room to run around… I have to two dogs of my own that would love to have more friends!
About: What sets me apart is that caregiving and being responsible for others has always come naturally to me. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so I grew up being someone my family could depend on and trust to make sure everyone was taken care of and safe. That responsibility has always extended to animals too. I’m very attentive, patient, nurturing, and used to being someone’s “safe person.” I genuinely don’t mind the extra responsibility that comes with caring for a pet. I actually really enjoy when people and animals can feel like they can trust, and depend on me. I have a pretty flexible schedule because I’m a lash tech and make my own work hours. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have class from 9:10 AM–12:10 PM, so I’m available early mornings and anytime after 1 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have class from 9:10–10:35 AM and 1:55–3:20 PM, so I’m available early mornings, between classes, and after 3:20 PM. Fridays are completely open for school, and my weekends are flexible as well. Since I control my lash bookings, I can arrange clients around scheduled pet walks or visits, which gives me plenty of flexibility for to spend time with your doggies! I’m unable to have dogs stay at my home at the moment, but I’m very available and comfortable caring for your pets in their own home! I know pets are usually more comfortable in their own environment, so I’m happy to follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, potty time, etc! I’ll also follow any specific instructions you provide to make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable with me!
“We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Diana. She was so great with our cats, send us the cutest, funniest updates on their antics and overall was incredibly flexible, responsive and took great care of our home. 10/10. Thank you Diana! See you next time :)”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 12,503 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Hidden Springs. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Hidden Springs walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Hidden Springs maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hidden Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hidden Springs. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
