About: I’ve been around cats since I was five years old, and one thing I’ve learned is that every cat has their own personality and their own way of showing trust. Some cats want cuddles the moment I walk through the door, some prefer to watch me from across the room, and some may decide that the closet is their favorite place to spend the day. I love that independence and I never expect a cat to interact with me before they’re ready. I let them set the pace and take the time to earn their trust. Most of my cat care is done in the cat’s own home, which I believe is often the most comfortable place for them. I’m happy to follow their normal routines, whether that means feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playing, giving them attention, or simply keeping them company. If your cat prefers to hide, that’s okay too—I’ll respect their space while still making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve cared for cats with and without my dog, Chica. When she is with me, she generally has very little interest in cats, and cats usually have very little interest in her. They may briefly sniff each other when introduced, but I always respect their boundaries and keep their food and feeding areas separate. I’m careful about maintaining their individual routines so everyone can feel comfortable. Whether your cat is independent, playful, shy, curious, or extremely affectionate, I enjoy getting to know them on their terms. And while I absolutely respect the independent cat who wants nothing to do with me, I’ll never complain when a cat decides it’s time for cuddles. ❤️ To me, cats have a special kind of presence. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.

After work which can finish from 3-6pm Monday to Friday, I am free all evening to provide the necessary pet care I have a relatively smallish studio around 400 square feet that has a large window overlooking the city that can open but is not accessible (ie no pet or human can get outside just look outside). The pets are able to go wherever they want in the studio- bed, chairs, table etc (if they want!). The apartment is secure and inaccessible to most unless I let them in so is a safe home. I will ensure the pets if left alone are always safely in the apartment and have access to their food and water at all times. Extra accommodations like pads can be added to the house if not house trained. Animal safety and wellbeing is my upmost priority. As an animal owner myself, I understand the fear and anxiety with trusting someone to look after your angels which is why I treat all pets like my own and go above and beyond to ensure their safety. Open consistent communication is crucial to create a trusting relationship where the pets are at the heart of the conversation always so I will always send regular updates with photos throughout the day/night to ensure pet owners are involved and aware of what's going on
