“Byron and Martha are the best. They took really good care of our dog Noki. They followed up each day with photos and followed all instructions for care. Will be reaching out again for his service thru Rover. For sure a 5 star sitter. Thanks again!”

“We hired Judith to watch my 12 year old dog in her home. My dog seemed to really enjoy her stay and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her. Judith provided twice a day updates which I really enjoyed! She verified with me before I left that twice a day updates would be appropriate which I appreciated too. I would definitely recommend Judith! You can really tell she genuinely cares about dogs. :)”

“Pepe came home soooo happy! He had a great time with Angela. He can't wait to go back in 3 weeks! This is the first time I've left him that he wasn't upset when he came home. Angela made me feel relieved and not worried about him being ignored or abused. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Wonderful Senior Dog Sitting Experience with Beth. We recently hired Beth to dog-sit our two senior dogs. We were truly grateful for her outstanding care. From the moment we initially reached out to her, Beth was kind, attentive, and displayed a genuine love for animals that immediately put us at ease. Given their advanced age, they require very specific care, taking meds, no jumping or stairs, old and set in their ways. Florida pups who hate cold, not wanting to go outside. She followed all of our instructions diligently, ensuring that our dogs' routines and schedules were maintained. Not only did she provide regular updates and photos of our little bears, but she also went above and beyond to engage them and make it a fun experience for them. Upon our return, Char & Hen were visibly happy and content, they wandered happily around her beautiful home as if it was theirs, while we gathered their things, not anxious to leave. Which is a testament to the wonderful care they received from Beth. Beth's kind and nurturing approach to dog sitting truly sets her apart. She not only attended to the basic needs of our dogs and their quirks but also showered them with love and attention, making them feel comfortable and secure in her care. We are incredibly grateful for the peace of mind Beth provided us, and we will undoubtedly be reaching out to her for our future dog-sitting needs. Thank you, Beth, for a fantastic dog-sitting experience!”

“Beth was so responsive and took great care of Jude! I will definitely be booking with her again as I knew he was in good hands the whole time. She sent updates and pictures and made me feel very comfortable leaving Jude in her care.”

“Anna was fantastic with our labradoodle Ollie! She is attentive and kind. Ollie seemed so relaxed and happy to spend the weekend. We will book her again very soon!”

“Tommy and Julie were great. They watched my two dogs for six days and provided me with updates and videos multiple times per day. It was clear my boys were safe, happy, and loved while there. Will definitely be working with Tommy and Julie in the future when I have to leave town!”

“Jen took great care of my dogs for 5 days. She sent me updates and pictures every day. One of the dogs had an upset stomach and Jen kept me up to date on how she was doing. She cared for them like her own dog!! I will be booking with her again. I highly recommend!!”

“From start to finish, Barbara was helpful and welcoming to our family and Kylo. Kylo definitely missed her and wanted to say goodbye. We will definitely use Barbara again because she took amazing care of our family dog. Thank you for all the updates and for looking out for our dog.”

About: My husband I both grew up with golden retrievers and have a soft spot for them. When I was first out on my own and bought my first home, I rescued a pit bull and she was with me until she passed. My husband, sons and I are all dog lovers and would love to welcome your dog into our home. My husband is home full time and I work from home and we are anxious to care for your pet! We have 2 sons - ages 6 and 10, so kid-friendly dogs are a must. We are available any day of the week at any time, unless we have something specific planned (which is not often). Please feel free to ask about specific dates and times and I will be sure to add you to my calendar! My husband is home full time and I work from home so we have ample amounts of time to care for your pet. My 2 sons LOVE dogs and love to play and take dogs on walks. Our yard is unfenced, per our HOA rules so your pet will always be on a leash for potty breaks and walks around the neighborhood. Pets are free to explore the entire home and will not be crated or gated, unless a crate is provided and requested.
The median cost per night for pet boarding in Hebron is $50

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
