“Emily visited daily and fed the cats as per instructions. She gave them attention and sent photos. She went above and beyond with the litter boxes and other minor chores. I would book her again.”

About: From mastering basic commands with my own dog to sitting for family/friends, I know firsthand that no two pets are alike . I am dedicated to providing safe, enriching, and fun-loving care that gives pet parents complete peace of mind I am available weekdays in the afternoon and have all the time in the world for your little(s) one on weekends so book with me! I provide a safe and trustworthy environment by making sure I’m following all the clients dog/house rules and most importantly building a friendship with your dog!
“Gretchen is the best! She helped us out on very short notice over a holiday week with no hassle. Our dogs were loved on and well taken care of while we were gone. Gretchen is very trustworthy and kind,”

“Declan is an extremely friendly and reliable sitter! He's great with our new kittens and has been very gracious working with us on short notice with our relatively erratic schedule. Would recommend to anyone in need of a sitter!”

“Carrie and family far exceeded our expectations. They took care of our cats even better than we do perhaps. We could not be more pleased. Communication was very good with pictures of the cats in action. We recommend them in the highest.”

About: I’m different from other sitters because I go above and beyond for the families trusting me with their fur babies! I have 6 years of experience with taking care of homes and animals: I am a college student and part time nanny. I baby sit on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays 9-430 so those two days are unavailable unless you are okay with your pet waiting 8 hours to be let out. I make sure dogs are being let out every 4-8 hours. I will be sure to be changing water bowls and follow the owners feeding schedule. I’m pretty laid back so I love just cuddling with dogs and cats while watching tv or doing homework! I am honored to be trusted by families to take care of their homes and pets

“First time booking wirh Michelle. She lives in the same town, has all kinds of pets & loves cats. We scheduled a meet & greet to learn what the pets needed. I appreciated that very much. Michelle took fed & watered & took photos of my outdoor cats and also tried to have cuddle, offer affection & pet them time as booked, but cats werent used to her. I thanked her for trying. Good experience and very reliable.”

“Such a good sitter. She even took my dog to run around multiple times which is something I can’t do. Cielo was very knowledgeable about Piccolos breed and did so good with him. I definitely will be booking again!”

“I appreciated Sydneys prompt response to my initial inquiry and questions/messages. She was flexible on short notice to come to meet us and do a drop in the next day. Followed all instructions (in my way too long note), checked in, sent pictures and all was well with my pup on return. Sydney is nice, mature and trustworthy. She is just starting out on Rover so for just figuring all that out — she was great. Sometimes I look for a lot of reviews but glad I gave Sydney a try for sure. Don’t hesitate — I recommend Sydney and I’ll book with her again!”

About: I have over 2 years experience caring for dogs. I understand canine behavior, understand basic training involving reinforcing basic obedience and house rules, patient and calm especially with anxious dogs, able to walk and play with dogs, quick thinking in unexpected situations, excellent communicator with owners, flexible, knowledge of pet laws, and detail oriented when it comes to dietary restrictions and activities. I currently am looking to change fields of work. Dogs have always been a passion of mine and want to do more hands on work with them. I live with my husband and Golden Retriever currently in an apartment. We go for multiple walks a day, socialize with people and other pets through play dates and normal social interactions. We have dedicated mental simulation time which involves training exercises and puzzles. We end our days with lots of cuddles and love. For my clients I am a firm believer of not just walking your dog but socializing with them and ensuring they receive the mental stimulation they need.
About: Growing up in a neighborhood with tons of dogs, while also being the youngest kid on the block, all dog-watching duties fell in my lap. From start to finish, I've been responsible for caring not just for my neighbors pups while on vacation, but also for my families senior dogs (15-18yr old). I have experience with pill crushing, wet food handling, and being extra cautious & contentious of their special needs. I also have years of experience with cats & kittens. I am a cat mom to two long haired kitties, Kane & Walter. I am a business owner (Realtor) so I create my own schedule! I have the flexibility of caring for your animals when you need it. A mid-day walk is no problem for my schedule. Because I have extensive experience being in peoples homes (being a Realtor) , i know the care & thoughtfulness needed to be in someones personal space. I leave each home as I found it. Im extremely mindful of this, as our homes are our sacred space, and can feel strange having a stranger in it. I lead with integrity, and feel very strongly about caring for your most precious family member, and your home!
About: I put 30+ years of pet care experience on here but it’s really more like 45. I’ve been taking care of our family pets since I was 8 years old. I have always been the one in the family that took care of not only our pets, but other family and friend’s pets; including staying at their homes when they needed me to watch them or just playing with their fur babies so they wouldn’t be alone during the day. I feel a very kindred connection towards dogs and cats (& other animals) and give them as much love and happiness as I can. I’m currently working part-time as a substitute teacher AND a server at Texas Roadhouse, so I have a lot of availability on the weekends and during the day, especially during the summer and spring break. Additionally, I create my own schedule so I can work around yours and mine. I have a 5 year old Goberian (Golden Retriever and Siberian Husky mix) and he LOVES to go on walks I walk him multiple times daily (on a leash) and play with him both inside the house and in the yard. My two children are 20 and 21, so my very good boy, Kai, is lavished and inundated with love and snuggles!! He is the sweetest boy and extremely well behaved.
“Elly was great! She was on time for the visit, followed all of our instructions and communicated perfectly. She has great attention to detail and calm energy that is very important with one of our dogs that is shy around new people. We couldn't be happier with Elly and will definitely use her again for drop ins and evernight stays.”

About: Ive house sat and walked family and family friends dogs many times! I absolutely love animals no matter the size, personality, height or shape of your pups! Im currently working , but I will have plenty of time to make for your furry friends! Im available some days depending on the hours i work that day but i am flexible around what works for you! I can care for your pups, giving extra company and love at your home where they are most comfortable! Im a flexible and understanding person if your pup needs extra special care!!
About: As an experienced and devoted pet sitter, I take great pride in the unique qualities that set me apart from other sitters. My passion for animals and dedication to their well-being drive me to go above and beyond in providing exceptional care for your furry companions. I prioritize open communication with pet owners, ensuring that they are kept informed about their pets' well-being during their absence. Regular updates, photos, and messages will be shared, so you can have peace of mind knowing your beloved pets are in safe hands. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to focus on your pet’s care. I’m able to accommodate multiple walks throughout the day, including scenic strolls through my neighborhood forest preserve. Whether it’s potty breaks, exercise, or just extra outdoor time, I love making sure pets get the attention, movement, and fresh air they need. When caring for pets in the client's home, I am committed to maintaining the same level of attention and love they would receive in their owner's presence. I follow the pet's routine as closely as possible, adhering to their feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any other specific requirements provided by the owner. During walks, I ensure that dogs are safely harnessed and on-leash at all times, while also being attentive to their surroundings and any potential triggers or stressors. I use positive reinforcement techniques during walks to encourage good behavior and reinforce basic commands. I make it a priority to spend quality time with each pet, showering them with affection and engaging them in playtime to ensure they remain mentally stimulated and emotionally content. Communication with pet owners is vital, and I provide regular updates, including photos and messages, to keep them informed about their pets' well-being and any notable experiences during my care.
About: I've taken care dogs for more than a year. I helped my family to walk the dog and give her so much love. I lived with a beautiful Puddle "Luna". I can walk your dog from 4pm to 10pm on the weekday, Also, I'm available to walk your dog during the Weekends at any time! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Hebron with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
