“I have a medically fragile senior cat who requires injectable medication. Diane was professional, easy to deal with and listened to instructions. She gave exceptional care to my cat and sent detailed updates. I will be booking her again and would recommend her to others!”

“Beth was so wonderful! She went above and beyond caring for our kitty and making sure he was loved while we were gone. She sent lots of pictures and updates as well! Would highly recommend!”

About: I am experienced in administering medicinal injections, nail trimming and teeth brushing of larger breeds, lifting 60+ lbs, pad and potty training, and assisting senior and special needs dogs. I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.
“Chloe did great with my cat, Ellie. She came over twice a day with no issues and fed, watered, and cleaned the litter area for Ellie when I was out of town for two weeks. The house looks spotless and Ellie appreciated the company. Highly recommended!”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I was young! I’ve had 5 dogs growing up and one of my very own into adulthood. I’ve also had 11 snakes, a guinea pig, and fish. I also currently have two of the best black cats in the world named Jasmine and Ozzy. I’ve pet sat since I was a young teen for family and friends. I have experience as well giving medications including insulin shots. I also have two of my own children and have a ton of experience with care and I’m so excited to meet your fur babies! I’m currently going to school for Respiratory Therapist! I am in person Monday and Wednesday from 8-5 but besides that I am free! I customize your pets experience to their owners requests and pets needs! Your fur babies will always get the most love and care. If your dog loves outdoors then I will spend time with them outside. If they love to just be cuddled with and a good belly scratch then I can provide that! I want to make your animals feel safe and loved!
About: As a retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief, I bring reliability, patience, and attention to detail to every pet I care for. I know every dog has a different personality, and I take the time to earn their trust while keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy. I'm an experienced dog owner and understand everything from energetic puppies that need structure and exercise to older dogs that benefit from a slower pace and extra patience. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or just relaxing with company, I'll tailor my care to their needs and stick closely to your routine. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is simple: to care for your dog the same way I'd want someone to care for my own. I'm retired from the U.S. Navy, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I build my day around their needs, whether that's morning walks, midday potty breaks, playtime, feeding, or evening visits. I enjoy being outdoors and staying active, so regular walks are something I genuinely look forward to. I also understand the importance of keeping pets on their normal routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. My goal is to provide dependable, consistent care and make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved every visit. I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs, while making sure your pet receives plenty of attention and affection. During walks and visits, safety is always my top priority. I use secure leashing practices, pay close attention to each dog's comfort and behavior, and never rush their time outside. I clean up after pets, keep fresh water available, and make sure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own. You'll receive regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I have had dogs, cats and pets of all types since childhood. Often referred to as “The chosen one” in my own home because of my relationship with our dog and cat. I am frequently asked to look after our neighbors dogs. Experienced at administering injections and IV fluids as well. I am recently retired and find myself with far more free time. Weekdays are a particularly good time for me to be available to care for animals I have a dog (Bandit) and a cat (Dublin) who are given love and attention to the point of being spoiled rotten. They are fed regularly and responsibly with the highly sought after treat from time to time. Walks are non negotiable for Bandit and both get a heavy dose of play time as well as some quality chill time together.
About: Some dogs need more than a sitter—they need someone who understands their fire. I specialize in caring for the bold, the stubborn, and the wonderfully rebellious (likely referred to as reactive) pups that others often turn away. With a training style rooted in positive reinforcement (yes, plenty of treats), I help even the toughest personalities feel safe, understood, and engaged. I avoid labeling dogs as “reactive,” even though it’s become the norm—I prefer positive terms like high‑drive that honor their energy and potential. From high‑drive Malinois and German Shepherds to clever Australian Shepherds, spirited Corgis, and the gentle giants like Mastiffs and Cane Corsos, these dogs aren’t just clients—they’re my best friends. Here, every dog gets the patience they deserve, the structure they crave, and a companion who truly gets them. Pet care is woven into my everyday life. I work part‑time in a dog kennel, so caring for dogs isn’t just a job—it’s truly my passion. I dedicate three full days each week to dog sitting, and I’m also available most weekday evenings. Spending my time with dogs, especially the rebellious and high‑drive ones, is simply part of who I am. When I care for pets, the dog’s needs always come first. I follow their routine, provide structure, and make sure they feel safe, understood, and engaged. I also take plenty of photos and videos of our playtime and daily activities, sharing them with the dog parents so they can relax and enjoy their time away knowing their pup is happy and well cared for.
“We booked Gwen very last minute. She was more than willing to do meet and greet before our booked times. Care for our dog (who had ACL surgery that week) and communication with us throughout was phenomenal! We highly recommend Gwen and hope to book with her again. Thank you, we’re beyond grateful!”

“Angela is a real pro! She did drop-in visits for our dog while we were on vacation. She was always on-time and gave him plenty of attention! She provided updates and photos. I would book her again and recommend her to others!”

“Emily visited daily and fed the cats as per instructions. She gave them attention and sent photos. She went above and beyond with the litter boxes and other minor chores. I would book her again.”

About: I’ve had doggos my whole life and have been entrusted by friends/neighbors to take care of theirs since I was a kid! My family calls me Snow White because I’ve never met an animal that hasn’t liked me (it’s true). I’ve always loved animals of all kinds, but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I’d be honored with the trust of walking/checking in on your furry friend! *If weekends are needed, please ask upon booking!* I blocked due to my job, I’m a full-time real estate agent, but I’m able to have some flexibility. I’d be available earlier in the mornings and mid to late afternoon’s most days, but that could be subject to change depending on the day. When you book, I’ll be able to provide times with certainty, but I’d be able to walk and/or drop in up to twice a day during the week. I’ll treat your home and animal(s) as if they’re my own! I always make sure the animal(s) have enough fresh water, food (according to the feeding routine that’s given), and play time! If the animal(s) make a mess, I have no issue tidying/cleaning as needed. I’ll never leave without ensuring that the animal(s) are where they’re instructed to be, if applicable, and will always make sure your doors are closed/locked when I leave.

About: I've been watching dogs for family and family friends for 15 years now, before I could drive myself. I've watched many dogs with special raw Diets, and dogs that have needed insulin shots. I have never encountered a scenario I couldn't handle. I'm working full-time, but have great hours, and would spend most of my time with the animals. I'm around and available all weekends. My wife and I spend most of our time home on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs of my own. All of which are really friendly. We often have family member's pets over to visit. I also stay at others homes, as that is normally where animals are most familiar and feel the most safe!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Danielle is absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend her enough. She is incredibly reliable, communicative, flexible, and genuinely cares about my dogs. I travel frequently for work, and having someone I completely trust to care for them while I’m away gives me so much peace of mind. She always keeps me updated, is wonderful about working with my travel schedule, and I never have to worry about how they’re doing when they’re with her. One of my dogs is older and the other has some additional care needs, and Danielle is so patient and attentive with both of them. It means so much to know they’re being cared for by someone who treats them like her own. I’m incredibly grateful I found her and would recommend her without hesitation! ❤️🐾

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Care — A Truly Outstanding Rover Sitter I cannot say enough good things about Kirstin and the way she cared for my two dogs, Zoe and Zacy. She is, without question, one of the most professional, compassionate, and attentive sitters I have ever worked with. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that Kirstin has a natural gift with animals. She approached each dog with patience, warmth, and genuine affection. Zoe, who is older and recently had a neurological episode, requires very careful handling — especially with stairs and balance. Kirstin followed every instruction meticulously, treated her with gentleness and respect, and made sure she felt safe every moment. Her attentiveness gave me tremendous peace of mind. Zacy, energetic and full of personality, also bonded with her immediately. Kirstin understood his routine, managed his needs perfectly, and made sure both dogs felt calm, comfortable, and loved. What truly sets Kirstin apart is her communication. She updated me regularly, sent photos, and asked thoughtful questions when needed. I always knew my dogs were in excellent hands. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication are exceptional. Caring for a senior dog and a small, active dog at the same time is not easy — yet Kirstin handled everything flawlessly and with a loving heart. I am profoundly grateful for the way she cared for Zoe and Zacy. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring, Kirstin is the person you want. I recommend her wholeheartedly and will absolutely be booking with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
