“Sure! Here’s a heartfelt review you can use for Helene: Helene has been an absolutely amazing dog walker for my stubborn pup, Luna! She is incredibly patient, kind, and truly understands Luna’s needs. It’s clear she loves what she does, and her gentle approach has made such a difference in Luna’s confidence and happiness. I always feel at ease knowing Luna is in such great hands. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker, I can’t recommend Helene enough!”

“Cheryl and Elmar took such great care of our dog Peanut! “Gail was amazing!! She arrived early for Simon’s 1st walk and greeted us with a pleasant demeanor. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Gail took control and made a fast connection with Simon. Simon’s happy wagging tail confirmed the feeling was mutual. To be clear, Simon is usually not eager to go on walks without his mommy, so I wasn’t surprise at his initial hesitation at the start of the walk, But Gail took control; and once Simon got to the bottom of the driveway, he was good! So proud of my boy! Simon returned with his tail wagging…a sign that he enjoyed his walk with Fail. Simon is looking forward to future walks with Gail!”

“Peter has been so communicative with me which I greatly appreciate. He has helped me and my dog so much so far. I can’t wait to continue to work with him.”

“Maia’s soooooo great and helpful! She showed up on time and is great with our puppy! He could be shy but warmed up to Maia very quickly - he couldn’t wait to see her again. About: If you care enough to be here on Rover seeking a pet sitter, you must feel the same as I do; your pet is a family member. As a former veterinary technician, I can attest this is not the case with all people. Whether you use my services or not, I respect you very much for being here and appreciate your devotion to your pet. That being said, my commitment to taking care of animals reaches no bounds. I am a firm believer our pets don't live long enough, and for that reason any moment we can make special for them we should. I want each visit with your pet to be special. I will gladly send you video or text updates if requested. In short, what I want to offer is top-notch veterinary trained experience at an affordable rate. I welcome the opportunity to meet your pet(s)! I invite you to meet my pet family in the pictures below. Personally, I own a very active ten year old whippet pit bull mix. She has special needs and requires six small feedings a day as well as IBS management during times of transition. I have a two year old son who drops food often and I must be diligent about making sure she is not eating his food. I understand pets can be unpredictable and move fast when motivated as a result. It is important to foresee what negative things can happen so I make sure to be proactive while caring for my pets and others as well.

“Alina is great. Cody enjoyed his walks and play time with her. She would spend sometime playing with him and making him feel comfortable and at ease. I would definitely recommend her 😊😊😊”

“Tere is an excellent provider. She is easy to communicate with, is prompt, and went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were comfortable and extremely well-taken care of. Highly recommend.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and have years of experience in caring for them. I have been a volunteer for pet rescues for 5 years . I am experienced with all types or dogs either it be breeds of all ages and temperaments. I am a college student free for the summer to help with any of your dog or pups needs, so I have very open availability. I have a fenced in yard and have three friendly fur babies to keep your pup company if dog sitting is needed, and a crate.

About: I will ensure your pet will get exercise and love when they are with me. I will play with toys, and give them endless belly rubs. I walk my dogs frequently throughout the day. I play with them as much as they want to play, and I give them lots of love and attention. I do this for all of my family members’ and friends’ pets as well, whenever I care for them. I am available to start caring for your pets today up until July 1st, which is when I will be getting my work schedule for my nursing career. After that, I am willing to work around my nursing schedule to care for your fur babies. I have a 3 year old mini Goldendoodle and a 12 year old golden retriever. I take them on multiple walks through out the day, feed them twice daily, ensure they have enough exercise and give them lots of love and play time. I will do the same for your family pets!

About: I have been taking care of my dog for about 7 years now, I have been feeding him and playing with him, I love them. I work a part time job so in my free time I like walking dogs and seeing other dogs and everything they have to give. I have a fence so he can play when he wants on the deck or if he wants a walk. If they misbehave I can crate them so they can learn.

About: I’ve taken care of big dogs such as golden retrievers and golden doodles since I could walk, since we used to always have a dog at home. Since then, I have helped friends take care of their dogs, from big to small, puppies to seniors. I love animals and would love to help fellow pet owners out whenever they need! I’m currently working full days only twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This allows me to keep my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays open, as well as some weekends. While I do have a fenced back yard, I have a pool that would make it less likely for playtime in the yard. That being said, there are multiple open parks near by and I love to walk with dogs or play with them at the park. My home is spacious inside, so pets will have freedom to roam around. I am also happy to set up a crate for a pet, provided by the pet owner.

About: I’m a recent college graduate with degrees in Education and History, and I’ll be starting my career as a teacher this September. For the I’m looking for meaningful summer work—and what could be better than spending time with animals! I’ve been caring for both my own pets and others’ for over 8 years, and I bring the same level of responsibility and attention to detail to pet sitting as I do to the classroom. I’m punctual, dependable, and full of energy—whether your pet needs long walks, playtime at the park, or just some extra love and attention, I’m happy to provide it. I’m also experienced with a wide range of pet needs, including puppies. I am available Monday - Thursday (after 2:30) as well as Fridays and weekends (any time)! I begin teaching high school in September and availability will differ. In my own home, I spoil my little babies 🥰 I feed my cats dry food twice a day, stock their water fountain with water, keep the dry food stocked, and clean their litter boxes. I give them outside time as long as they stay close or just have the back screen door open to let them see, smell, and hear the nature. Occasionally, I will take them in walks in the kitty stroller with the dog on the leash. When taking care of other people’s cats, I treat them with the same love I would my own. I am happy to care for them in all the same ways, including spending time with them, not just running in and out to feed and clean. I also usually provide photo updates. I take care of my dog by feeding him dry food, letting him out every three hours, taking him on walks as often as possible, giving him snuggles, playing fetch, giving treats, etc. so pretty much treat my dog like a king. I am happy to do the same for you!

17. Theodore G.
“As Teddy's father, I've had the privilege of watching him grow into an incredibly kind, responsible, and thoughtful young man—especially when it comes to animals. From a very early age, he showed a deep empathy for pets and a natural ability to connect with them. When our neighbors went on vacation, Teddy stepped in without hesitation, making sure their dogs were not just cared for, but loved and given plenty of attention and playtime. He approaches every task with maturity and a big heart. Whether he’s out walking dogs in the neighborhood or simply sitting with a nervous pup to keep them company, he brings calm, warmth, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’d trust him with any pet, any time. He’d be an incredible asset to the Rover community.”

18. Gabrielle R.
“Gaby R. is amazing with animals. She has a golden retriever of her own that she loves and cherishes very much. Simba (her dog), is so sweet and enjoyable, and Gaby frequently takes him for walks and adventures whenever she can. Gaby is the primary caretaker of Simba, and always keeps up with his needs and desires. Gaby also loves to be with other dogs and cats whenever she can, so it is no surprise that all of the animals love Gaby back. She is insanely loving, kind, sweet, and responsible. Do yourself a favor and book Gaby now!”

She takes the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and routines. Whether it’s administering medication, keeping up with feeding schedules, taking the dog for walks, or simply giving them plenty of affection and attention, Sophie handles it all with great care and professionalism. Knowing that Sophie is looking after my pets gives me peace of mind whenever I travel. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter.”
