“I really appreciate Evelien she took care of my puppy Bori like one of her family. She is a sweetheart sitter and has a big heart for caring my puppy. She updated well enough with text message, photos and video, which relieved me as a first time Rover user. Definitely, will come back to her whenever I need a daycare or boarding. Actually, I already booked for April boarding! Thank you so much, Evelien!!”

About: We are a young, settled family of 4. We grew up as dog owners and are active care takers for close family and friends dogs (Great Dane, French Mastiff, Greyhound, Beagles, Goldens). All who love to come and spend time with our fun loving 3 year old Golden Retriever, Alfie. Alfie is friendly with dogs of all shapes and sizes and loves to play all day with new and old friends. As a family we are active and we spend a lot of time outdoors – either in our yard hanging, running around with the kids and Alfie, practicing sports and playing games or taking advantage of the nearby parks and walking trails. As responsible care takers and devoted dog lovers, we will treat your dog as a part of our own family. With flexible schedules we are available for even last minute needs, as we rather you call us than your dog be left home alone. Lisa works from home permanently and I’m based from home with the odd day out and about, so there will typically always be someone home with your pup. Worst case of your comfortable with them being left home alone, it would only ever be for an hour or two and they would have Alfie with them to keep them company. We have a fully fenced in yard that covers just under 1/4 of an acre where your pup is free to run all day with Alfie. Although it is fully fenced we’ll always be out with the dogs just to keep an eye on them.
About: What sets us apart is that we are dog parents ourselves. We understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. We have experience raising and caring for different breeds, including a Samoyed, Weimaraner, Shetland Sheepdog, and Golden Retriever. Our dogs are friendly and social, and we carefully supervise all interactions to ensure a safe and positive environment. We focus on each dog’s comfort, routine, and safety. We follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special instructions from owners. Every dog in our care is treated like part of our family. On days I accept bookings, I’m home all day to give dogs my full attention, provide close supervision, and make sure they get plenty of walks and care. I provide a calm, safe, and dog-friendly environment in my home. All dogs are closely supervised, especially during playtime and interactions with other dogs. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and rest time. Because I am a dog owner myself, I understand how important safety and trust are. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, secure, and cared for like a member of our family.
“Lauren was fabulous with our pup, Mika. It was our first time leaving her with a sitter so of course I was a bit nervous how she’d do. Lauren’s enthusiasm and positive energy immediately put my fears to rest, and obviously Mika’s too. Lauren sent me pictures throughout the day to let me know Mika was doing great. I appreciated her care and good communication. Would highly recommend.”

About: Hello! I’ve been caring for dogs since my own pup was just 8 weeks old. From fun off-leash adventures to cozy times at home, I’ve helped my dog grow into a friendly, well-socialized little buddy. I also enjoy walking g and looking after my brother’s dogs (medium and larger size). I always make sure each pet gets the attention they deserve and it makes me happy to see them happy and cared for. Thank you for reading this and I can’t wait to help you too. I’m currently taking a break from my professional career to spend some more time at home with both my children and pup. My kids are teens and at school during the day so I have time for extra dog walks and care. I have a fully fenced in large backyard and my Cockapoo pup is super friendly around both people and other dogs. I’d want to meet and greet before caring for your pup to ensure we are all comfortable and I understand how you’d like me to care for your pet in your home or around your neighborhood.
“Katherine did an amazing job with Presley! Presley is an anxious little pup but took well to Katherine. Katherine sent us pictures and kept us posted throughout her stay. We will definitely be using Katherine again in the future!”

About: Hello! My name is Julia and I’m excited to become a sitter on Rover. I grew up in Slovakia with a wonderful schnauzer who I trained from the age of 13. She was an incredible companion and even had a knack for searching for mushrooms in the woods—an impressive talent for a dog! Currently, I live in Englewood, NJ, where I've had the joy of sharing my life with an amazing dog. We recently lost our gentle giant, an Airedale Terrier named Samson, who was with us for 10 wonderful years. Samson was not only a beloved pet but also my daughter's protector since she was born. Despite his intimidating size, he was gentle and caring, never hurting anyone, but always ready to take care of pesky rodents in the backyard. He brought so much laughter into our lives, and it’s true what they say: if you don’t have a sense of humor, you shouldn’t own an Airedale! We absolutely adore dogs and often borrow our friends' dogs while they are away, which has only deepened our love for furry companions. As we adjust to life without Samson, my 8-year-old daughter and I are eager to take care of dogs independently. We would love the opportunity to share our home and love with your furry friends. We promise to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for them. Looking forward to meeting your pets! I'm working from home. My schedule is very flexible at the moment. I can take your dog outside as needed, depends what is his schedule is. My backyard is a peaceful space filled with greenery, making our neighborhood feel inviting. We prioritize safety and trust among neighbors, creating a friendly environment for everyone.
“Our puppy stayifor the second time with Hope and we’re very much happy with Hope’s service like the last time. Very good communication and many pictures I got during her stay. I’m happy that my puppy is in a good hand whenever I’m away!”

Hope is a great sitter and was truly a pleasure to work with! Our pup, Nubya, enjoyed going out in the beautiful backyard and for walks around the neighborhood meeting Hope's neighbors. I really appreciated the regular updates with photos throughout the day. We will definitely have Hope watch Nubya again!
