“This was my second time booking with Camila And she’s great. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with her, it is clear that she cares about all the dogs she walks. I will definitely always reuse Camila”

“Andrea dog walked Cody on one day earlier this week (3 times during the day) and I couldn't be happier. Her communication was outstanding, plenty of photos and even documents how many times he pee-ed and pooped on each walk. She was accommodating when I had to adjust my schedule and was very reliable. She even washed out his dog food container when it was empty, which was beyond the call of duty. Andrea has a lovely manner, is very pleasant and eager to please. Would definitely work with her again.”

“Yvette was amazing! I was so nervous to leave my dog and am so relieved I found Yvette! Zoey loved her from day one and had a great time with her. I absolutely loved all the pics and updates throughout the week! She was also extremely accommodating with all her health needs. Highly recommend for your fur baby!!”

“Peter is an enthusiastic and considerate pet care provider! He did an excellent job walking our large dog, taking the time to learn about her tendencies and needs, making sure to accommodate her allergies and health issues. He’s also very prompt and very polite. Will absolutely hire him again!”

“Erik has been awesome. Has been very prompt with the timing and days we had rain he let us know in advance better to reschedule. He cares for my dog and gave good ideas too on how to curb certain activities of my dog who has ski much energy.”

“Kathryn has been our dog walker for a few weeks and I am so happy with her! She is great with Jax, he looks forward to his weekly walks with her. She is very communicative, always on time, affectionate with him and it is clear that she has a true love for pets. She also includes detailed notes at the end of every walk with multiple pictures. I highly recommend her!”

“We can't say enough wonderful things about Sam. We'd give him a 10 if that was possible! He took such great care of our dog, Cooper. This is the first time in 6+ years, since we got Cooper, that we've ever been away from him overnight, let alone a weekend as we just were. Sam communicated after each visit and sent us pictures, as well. We highly recommend you book him for your dog-sitting needs”

“Casey was great! She was right on time for the walk with my puppy Brandy, took her around my neighborhood and even played with her a bit inside before putting her back in the crate.”

About: I grew up with a senior Yorkie and learned to be reliable, patient, and attentive. I provide personalized care for pets of all ages, including energetic puppies and senior pets needing extra support. My time is mostly open but I am available on weekdays during the morning and afternoon. Weekends saturday and Sunday can be free and evening if needed. Our apartment has a private fenced dog park that we are able to enter. I am also able to follow each pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. “Cheryl is incredibly reliable and takes such great care of my fur baby. I’m beyond grateful to have someone I trust completely, and I never have to worry about him when he’s with her.”

“Miru is fantastic! She is extremely punctual, nice, and dependable. Genie responds very well to her, and she has been incredibly accommodating with our schedule and needs. Highly recommended!”

“Rachel is amazing! I’ve had my dog for 14 yrs (his brother recently passed) and I needed someone I could trust with my old man. Some days he’ll be good to walk far other days not so much and thankfully she’s so knowledgeable about dogs she knows exactly what to do for him and what is safe for him. I was impressed when I met her and I trust her which is saying a lot coming from me as I’ve been very selective with who cares for my dog. I highly recommend her.”
About: I will ensure your pet will get exercise and love when they are with me. I will play with toys, and give them endless belly rubs. I walk my dogs frequently throughout the day. I play with them as much as they want to play, and I give them lots of love and attention. I do this for all of my family members’ and friends’ pets as well, whenever I care for them. I am available to start caring for your pets today up until July 1st, which is when I will be getting my work schedule for my nursing career. After that, I am willing to work around my nursing schedule to care for your fur babies. I have a 3 year old mini Goldendoodle and a 12 year old golden retriever. I take them on multiple walks through out the day, feed them twice daily, ensure they have enough exercise and give them lots of love and play time. I will do the same for your family pets!
“Alina really helped me in a pinch, visiting from out of town but needing dog walks while here. She was communicative, responsive, punctual and, best of all, she clearly loves dogs & walking! My little guy was always happy to see her and walk with her.”

“Diana was great. She came to meet my dog and see the set up in my home. I then booked her for a dog walk during a busy work-from-home day. My dog was super happy to see Diana when she arrived and was happy and relaxed when she came back. I'll definitely be rebooking!”

“Tere is an excellent provider. She is easy to communicate with, is prompt, and went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were comfortable and extremely well-taken care of. Highly recommend.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Demarest
Peyton came in last minute to help with Lenox’s daily walks while we were away and our regular walker canceled. She was very communicative about how he did on his walks, sent great pictures, and was even extra gentle with him when a storm strolled through that made Lenox anxious. Would hire her again!

Andrea was wonderful with Genie! Even though she is new to us, she proved to be extremely punctual, knowledgeable, and professional right from the start. Most importantly, Genie seemed to really like her and took to her immediately. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for great pet care!

Becky has been absolutely wonderful with my older, sometimes difficult pup. She’s patient, kind, and really knows how to handle dogs with extra quirks. It’s a relief to have someone so dependable and caring with my girl when I’m not able to be. If you’re looking for a dog walker who will treat your pet with the same love and attention you would, book her—you won’t regret it!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
