“Erick is extremely professional. He knows a lot about dogs and their behavior. He was patient and understanding. He asked a lot of great questions to really understand my dog, before caring for her. I look forward to working with him again!”

“Yvette was amazing! I was so nervous to leave my dog and am so relieved I found Yvette! Zoey loved her from day one and had a great time with her. I absolutely loved all the pics and updates throughout the week! She was also extremely accommodating with all her health needs. Highly recommend for your fur baby!!”

“Alina is THE BEST. She has been my walker for 2 dogs now with very different personalities and challenges. She has been great with them. My new dog is 2 years old and has a lot of separation anxiety and Alina was great with walks and putting him in the crate when needed. I highly recommend Alina!”

About: I have raised my two cats Ginger and Marble since they were a few weeks old, and they are 8 now. While I’m away at school (Babson College in Wellesley), I miss my cats and would love to take care of your pets. I often take care of my cousins’ dogs, and my girlfriend’s dogs as well. I schedule my life around the needs of your pets. My classes are from Monday - Thursday in the afternoon, so I can walk pets in the morning or evening every day. Walking is one of my favorite pastimes so I can spend a lot of time outdoors with your pets if they like that. I feed my cats a variety of cat foods and real natural foods, and will care for yours however you prefer. Also, I refill the water for pets often so they have fresh water, and my cats like to drink straight from the sink. Also, I am very tidy, and will make sure your house stays very clean.
“We can't say enough wonderful things about Sam. We'd give him a 10 if that was possible! He took such great care of our dog, Cooper. This is the first time in 6+ years, since we got Cooper, that we've ever been away from him overnight, let alone a weekend as we just were. Sam communicated after each visit and sent us pictures, as well. We highly recommend you book him for your dog-sitting needs”

About: I have over 12 years of experience raising and caring for dogs, including taking care of puppies from the time they were born. I understand the needs of dogs at every stage of life, from newborn puppies to adult dogs, and I provide calm, attentive, and loving care. Your dog will be treated like family in a safe and comfortable home environment. I work from home, so I’m home with the dogs throughout the day and able to give them lots of attention, care, and supervision. Your dog will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles during the day. I make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and part of the family while they’re staying with me. The backyard is fully fenced and safe, providing a secure space for dogs to play. I live on a quiet street with very little traffic, making it a safe environment for dogs.
“Kathryn has been our dog walker for a few weeks and I am so happy with her! She is great with Jax, he looks forward to his weekly walks with her. She is very communicative, always on time, affectionate with him and it is clear that she has a true love for pets. She also includes detailed notes at the end of every walk with multiple pictures. I highly recommend her!”

I hope to bring my experience and passion for animals to better serve your feline and canine friends. I hope to dedicate plenty of time to spend taking care of your animal companions. I am available in the early mornings and all throughout the day. In addition to feeding and changing the litter box, I hope to check in on your animals to make sure they are comfortable and there are no hazardous items around. “Diana is the best!! I have to say it over and over again... I trust her and my dog loves her. Not just her but also I have a good day when I know Diana is walking Rita. She cares a lot and reacts to my messages right away. ☺️”
“Casey was great! She was right on time for the walk with my puppy Brandy, took her around my neighborhood and even played with her a bit inside before putting her back in the crate.”

“Miru is fantastic! She is extremely punctual, nice, and dependable. Genie responds very well to her, and she has been incredibly accommodating with our schedule and needs. Highly recommended!”

“Cheryl and Elmar took such great care of our dog Peanut! They were even able to accommodate us when we needed emergency doggy care on short notice after our flights were canceled - we are so grateful! Peanut also had so much fun on his walks with them, he was so excited and waited by the door for them! Highly highly recommend!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Peter! He was incredibly easy to work with and responded right away, even on short notice. Although we didn’t meet in person, we felt completely at ease thanks to clear communication and the videos we sent him in advance. Peter went above and beyond by sharing lots of great photos of our dog, Captain, during their time together—which really put our minds at ease. Captain absolutely loved him, and it showed! We’re so grateful for Peter’s care and look forward to booking with him again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“I can’t recommend Helene enough! She is incredibly reliable, caring, and truly loves animals. My chunky Staffy Luna loved her the moment she met her and didn't even want to come back to me lol. She gets so excited every time she arrives, and I always feel at ease knowing Luna is in great hands. She even drives her to a trail near my house, ensuring plenty of exercise, playtime, and even sending me updates and photos. If you're looking for a responsible and loving dog walker, Helene is the best and is very accomadating!”

About: I will ensure your pet will get exercise and love when they are with me. I will play with toys, and give them endless belly rubs. I walk my dogs frequently throughout the day. I play with them as much as they want to play, and I give them lots of love and attention. I do this for all of my family members’ and friends’ pets as well, whenever I care for them. I am available to start caring for your pets today up until July 1st, which is when I will be getting my work schedule for my nursing career. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
