About: Lover of all animals - cat owner + dog lover. Not shy to snakes, lizards, etc. The cuddlier the better. Trusted by human and animal parents for years. I work from home and can take breaks during the day as needed. Happy to work from your home as well. Evenings and weekends are generally available. I know it’s hard to trust someone in your home, and taking care of your family. I am respectful, communicative, and timely to a fault.

“Malina is the best. My dog is really nervous around strangers so Malina did a couple meet and greets to get him warmed up before their walks. She’s very patient and attentive and my pup loves her!!”

About: NOTE: BASED OUT OF BURLINGTON, VT FOR THE COLLEGE SEASON I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, and everything in-between for as long as I can remember. From pit-bulls to terriers, handicapped chickens to one eyed kittens and animals with at least 8 legs, i’ve seen it all. Apart from caring for my own dogs, cats, and other pets over the years, I did freelance petsitting and dog walking in and around my neighborhood for around seven years, ranging from dog walks while the owner was at work, to late night cat feedings and prescription medication administration, to trying to give a rabbit a bath. I have a high level of experience caring for both puppies/kittens and elderly dogs and cats, having worked to foster puppies and kittens with my local ASPCA for nearly a decade as well as helped raise and train one of my family dogs, and care for my elderly, disabled dog in her later years. I also have background training with the ASPCA regarding animal safety (specifically reactive or defensive dogs) and basic dog and cat body language, crucial aspects of keeping everyone involved healthy and happy! I’m currently a college student home for the summer- my schedule is very open and very flexible, depending on the individual needs of the animal. I can match whatever level of energy your pet needs within the home- whether it be constant cuddles and attention, hours of playtime, or just an omniscient hand filling the food bowl and grabbing the leash! I’m comfortable administering oral or topical medications, able to control and crate dogs if the need arises, and (i’d like to think) i’ve learned some pretty good strategies to stop unwanted barking late at night over the years. I value the mental and physical comfort of the animal i’m caring for first and foremost, whether that means hands on attention or a more quiet, calm approach to time spent with your pet. I’m willing to care for and spend time with shy or reactive dogs as long as they’re within my size range. Having owned both a very senile, timid dog and a very reactive, defensive dog, it’s important to me that they receive the amount of care and attention in the home they deserve :)

“If you need a dog walker, look no further than Marina! I have been using her weekly for almost 4 years! She is kind, attentive, sweet, and both of my boys love her. My one Aussie gets so excited when the Rover app makes a pop sound when she arrives. All I have to do is say “Marina is here”, and he runs to the door with excitement! If there is one thing I am grateful for this Thanksgiving it’s Marina! Thank you!!!! 💐💐💐”

“Corinne was great! She met us for a meet and greet before the walk, and she responded quickly to our questions. She was great with Sadie--a large dog who can be very energetic--and she was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to everyone on Rover.”

“Amanda has been great. She is very punctual and caring when taking care of my puppy. She regularly tracks how he is doing and sends me updates when taking him on walks. I feel very comfortable having my dog in her care and would recommend her to anyone”

About: Growing up, my neighbors knew they could count on me to take great care of their dogs and cats while they were away. I am a major animal lover and walker, so walking dogs for work is a dream come true! My main job is teaching English in Spain, but while I'm home for the summer, I would love to take care of your pet :) My schedule is wide open - this is my summer break as a teacher! I am able to make just about any day and time work, with a handful of exceptions. I will adapt to your pet's needs and treat them like royalty! You can count on me to feed, walk, and play with your dog, and if they need any more specific care, don't hesitate to ask!

“It is wonderful to have someone like Courtenay to care for our pup. Makes all the difference in the world when you are away to know you have someone you trust taking care of your furry family member(s).”

About: As a former dog owner, I’ve played a crucial role in nurturing our furry friends. Meeting all essential needs- and more- I have skills in training, caring for, and loving animals as they deserve. Coming from a pet-loving family, my experience dates back to my formative years. I am a graduate student and therapist, with enough flexibility and autonomy within my schedule to treat your pet with TLC! Thursdays-Mondays are my most flexible times, depending upon the service requested. Let’s chat and figure out what works best so your pet is cared for when you are away. I live in a pet-friendly community with ample outdoor space to go on walks. The phrase, mi casa es su casa, applies to all of my guests - even my 4-legged friends. Your pet is allowed to enjoy the space fully, and can also be crated per the owner’s request based on the dog’s usual routines.

About: I've taken care of my friends' pets since i can remember. My roommate had 4 cats and I looked after them when she wasn't available. I'm currently working part-time on the weekends so I'm fully available to take care of your pets during the week. I'll be there when you need me! There are 3 cats in my home; one is a senior. They all get all the accommodations and love they need, whether it's cuddles or more food.

About: Hello! My name is Maddie. I’m a marine scientist and current law student who happens to love terrestrial animals too, especially dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, ages, personalities, and temperaments. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats, personally and walking for Wag. As a previous dog owner, I know what a good walk or a session of tug-of-war can do for a pup! I can walk or run with your dog or just hang out for a while, whatever they need. I have two dogs of my own and look forward to caring for your pet as if they were my own. I’m a student living in St. Pete and am open to walking, drop-ins, and overnight stays. As a graduate student, I have a flexible work schedule and can pop in often. I look forward to meeting and playing with your pet. I’m currently a full time student who takes classes primarily in the evenings. I look forward to walking dogs and dropping in to visit during mornings and afternoons! I care for pets in my home and my clients’ homes by providing exercise, enrichment, and lots of love! I believe all three of those things are necessary for a happy and healthy pet!

About: I’m the kind of person who stops to pet every dog I see (and yes, I remember their names). I’ve been caring for animals my entire life — from tiny kittens to senior dogs. Just send me a message, and we’ll make it happen! I respect your space and your pet’s routine — keeping their environment clean, comfortable, and familiar. I make sure they always have fresh water, the right food at the right time, and lots of attention. I send regular photo and text updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and safe while you’re away. And I'm not afraid to clean up any "accidents."

Mandi B.
“Mandi is AMAZING! She handled my allergy-prone and high energy dogs with total care. I’m very selective about who watches my dogs (Aspen and Jax). I can be a little nervous leaving them in someone else’s care. Mandi was the perfect dog sitter, and I can’t recommend her enough. She’s adaptable, smart, and incredibly kind. The dog with allergies had absolutely no issues, and the high-energy one was tired when I got back, so I knew they had a great day. She even took them to the park and made sure they were fed only after they’d calmed down, which I really appreciated since GDV is one of my biggest fears. My dogs love everyone, but the way they watched her leave told me they saw her as part of the family. For anyone looking for a highly trustworthy petsitter, Mandi is the best.”

Carrie C.
“Carrie regularly watched our two large rescue dogs when we went out of town and we (us and our pups!) were so sad when she moved away. She was careful to take detailed instructions about their habits and needs and asked about things that we had forgotten to mention. She communicated with us well when we were away to share how our dogs were doing. Carrie is a loving and thoughtful pet caregiver and a natural at handling dogs. I would trust her with any pet. We love Carrie and miss her so much!”
