“Tia has been our dog walker for several years now and I couldn’t change her for anyone else! She is very professional, responsible and loving. Franklin always gets over exited and happy to see her! I know he is in the best hands when he goes for his walks and that is priceless!! Thank you Tia!!”

“Thank you Daisy for saving the day and taking care of my dog at short notice. She was kind and prompt with responses and took great care of Darla. Will book again 😊”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly treat them like family. I grew up with a dog for over 10 years, which taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and daily care. Now, I have a dog of my own, so I understand firsthand the attention, love, and structure pets need to feel safe and happy. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I’m committed to giving every pet the same care I give my own. I’m available for drop-in visits and walks during the week, and I’m flexible with timing. I’m happy to coordinate with your schedule to make things easy and stress-free for you and your pet. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and cared for as possible while you’re away. I stick closely to their normal routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m gentle, attentive, and respectful of their space, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you know they’re doing well.
“Ana is amazing with my boy Beaux! She takes the cutest photos, sends updates each time, and is so kind! I 110% recommend her! Very reliable and I know Beaux enjoys his time with her!”

“Claire was my first experience using Rover and a very positive one. I’ll be sure to contact her first next time I need help. She did a meet and greet the day before and then mmm took my dog for two one hour walks the same day and gave a medicated shampoo bath to a new rescue. Fast response time, great communication, and confident around dogs.”

“Karen is fantastic! Provides plenty of care and makes sure your loved one’s experience is great. All the pictures she sends me puts my mind at rest that my Little boy is doing well and happy! Thanks!”
About: Hello! I’m Mae and I’m a huge animal lover! I used to travel weekly for work and would board my own dogs, I know how scary that can be, when you just want your babies to feel like they are at home or with their person. You don’t always know what’s going on throughout their day! I had the opportunity to get out of the corporate world and traveling every week to try something new, and I figured, why not do what I’m passionate about? I got my very first dog responsibilities for my own dog when I was 9 years old. Since then, I was hooked. While I worked crazy hours in a totally different field, I used my free time to volunteer at pet rescues, foster dogs, run adoption events. I became a foster failure pretty quickly and knew I’d end up adopting them all, so time to do something less risky for my wallet and my sanity and just focused on my two dogs for a few years. However, I missed having other ones around so I delved into Rover in 2019. I took a break when I moved to Houston and when the opportunity arose, I decided to pursue full time! I am home nearly 24/7 except when doing drop ins (or grocery shopping!). The dogs are entirely free roaming. I have a fenced in backyard with a pool for those who love to swim (that too, has a fence, and I am outside with the dogs at all times!) For dogs who prefer kennels, I do have kennels available for most sizes! I send regular video updates letting you know what your pup has been up to. I have lots of experience with elderly and medical needs dogs if needed. For drop ins and walks: Cats: I love cats, but cannot have them due to all of the dog traffic in the home. This is my chance to get some kitty time! I like birds and other animals too, but it’s not an option on this app! Haha Dogs: I have been really successful at getting dogs to trust me quickly, even without ever meeting them prior to the drop in. I’ll give you lots of updates on how they’re doing, eating, anything unique I may notice. I will generally perform a walk unless otherwise requested, feed, brush, play, dispense meds, whatever you/they need! Totally open to a meet and greet or taking on the pet as needed! Note: because my home is free roam, please discuss any big behavioral issues with me beforehand so I can be sure there’s as much notice as possible for anything I need to be aware of or determine if it’s the right fit. Thank you for considering me! Dogsitting is my career! I am home nearly 24/7 and love having pups around! They go out as often as needed, up to hourly if wanted! (Except when I’m asleep)! I have a fenced yard and also will be outside with dogs at all times they are out there. We will go in daily walks or more if requested.

“What can you wish for more than someone who loves your puppa, thinks deeply about their well-being and takes the best care of them. Ashley is hugely knowledgeable about pets and their health. She’s incredibly caring and attentive. Communicative and will do all she can to help when circumstances change. Our dog just adores her and so do we. Thank you Ashley- you’re the best!”

“Anna is great! I trust her with my baby and will even take super late requests. If you cannot be home and need your little one to be taken for a walk, I would pick her over anyone in the area.”

Alejandra is so great and was able to walk my dog various times a week while I’m at work. She communicates well, responds quickly and was very easy to schedule repeated walks. She is respectful of my home and gentle with my dog, I will definitely continue to use her as her schedule allows!

2nd round of booking with Claire. Everything went great, and she did a great job earning the trust and cooperation of my sometimes-obstinate dog. She took care of feeding the two dogs twice a day and handled it perfectly considering they eat a lot of ingredients and supplements!

Makenzie has been walking my dog daily on my work days for about a month now. She’s been consistent, reliable, and a great communicator. I sometimes have to work extra long days and while it’s not an emergency, I hate leaving my dog too long without some company and a walk, so there’s been times I’ve asked for extra walking services, and I’ve been able to book those with her every time I’ve asked. I feel confident my dog is in good hands with her, allowing me to go about my work day worry free when it comes to my sweet boy. I highly recommend Makenzie. My cats enjoy her company, as well!

Great experience, this was my first time having someone other than myself taking my pup out and Sheila worked with me on easing into getting to know him and getting him in a comfortable mindset. Sheila is very communicative and reliable and was giving updates when walking him, which I def appreciated. I would highly recommend Sheila!
