I have dog/cat sat for a couple of my friends’ dogs from puppy/kitty years to grown adults! I have a full time job and I know how it feels to have that guilt of being away from them due to work. I hope I can help you feel relieved to know your pet is getting all the attention they deserved while you go do your thing! I have my own dogs names Teddy and Rocky, so it’s instinctual for me doing pet care. Integrating your pet into our routine will be easy peasy! I live in a townhome that I own. We have a small fenced area for pets to roam in the backyard. around and take potty breaks when needed. Also plenty of treats and toys available because I have a shopping problem and spoil my own pet too much.

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life, clean for a woman with several cats, along with being a camp counselor at a horse camp for a few years; so I’m very comfortable with different types of animals and people. My only current commitment is from 2-5 during the week which will eventually subside in May, so I’m very flexible throughout the week and weekend. I have 2 dogs with a dog door and fenced in yard. Their both senior dogs so more running around in the backyard rather than walks now, but when they wanted to daily or atleast every other day walks.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, specifically Maltese, so caring for pets has always been a normal part of my life. I also currently have two cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. While I’m newer to pet sitting through Rover, I have many years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive, and I’m comfortable following specific feeding schedules, walking routines, and any other instructions you have for your pet. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how they’re doing. Outside of pet care, I’m currently finishing my master’s degree in counseling and have spent several years in roles that require a high level of responsibility, communication, and trust. I’ll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show my own. My schedule is fairly flexible, especially during weekday mornings and early afternoons. I’m currently finishing graduate school and generally schedule my other work later in the day, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the week. I can also accommodate some evenings and weekends depending on the day. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, especially when that means welcoming someone into your home. I’ll always follow your instructions closely and do my best to keep your pet’s normal routine consistent, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific care they need. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and comfort level and won’t force interaction if they need some time to warm up. I’ll also treat your home with respect, make sure everything is secure before I leave, and keep you updated so you know your pet is safe and well cared for.

“Tanita was available last minute (booked last night for early this morning). She was able to clarify some questions prior to booking. She arrived a little earlier than anticipated but that worked out great as I was able to pause the task I was doing to introduce them. Charlie was a little hesitant to head out for his walk upon Tanita's arrival, but he seemed to really enjoy it. Although I did not get a lot of photos or updates throughout the walk, I was able to see on the Rover card the route they took and was able to follow up with questions directly with Tanita. I really appreciated that Tanita was available after the walk had ended.”

About: I love, love, love animals. More than people. My parents were actually offended that I love my dog than them at times. To make it easier for you and your fur babies, I will come to your house. I always require a meeting with the pets, in your home, with you present, to make sure that the dogs meet me properly, so I'm not just some random stranger coming in. I will also ask about the schedule the dog is used to. If I'm doing house sitting, when does the dog eat? How much food? Are they allowed treats? Allergies? Medication? Your animals will be in good hands with me. I am super compassionate and want to make sure the pets are taken care of. I usually don't leave until I know they have used the restroom, eaten, drank water, etc. A little about me... I do love to give out treats, so let me know if you usually limit treats. I am a Houston native. I recently (September 2024) said goodbye to my fur baby of 14 and a half years. I also have several cats - some that I rescued from the park by my house. They were poisoned and abandoned, and two were even pregnant. I was able to get them all fixed, vetted, and into forever homes. I'd love to take care of your pets while I grieve the loss of my loved one. From dogs to cats to birds to rabbits to goats. I believe adopt > shop when it comes to animals. There are so many poor creatures stuck in kill-shelters. I hope to one day have my own animal rescue. I offer boarding and day care services, but on a case by case basis, as I have cats and a small dog. October 2026 Update: I'm currently between jobs right now, so my availability is wide open as long as I'm in town. My calendar should be up to date. I follow a leave it like you found it philosophy, so you won't even notice someone was in your house. I follow instructions and send photos each visit.

One of his former cats was disabled with feline AIDS so I also have experience handling and administering oral medication.
