“We had a great first experience with Sydney! We met with her a couple of weeks beforehand to make sure it felt like a good fit, and she immediately gave us the warm and fuzzy feeling we were hoping for. Bibi was a little unsure at first, but she ended up really enjoying her mile walk and is completely exhausted now 😊 We appreciated the communication, photos, care, and patience with her. We’re already planning our next walk with both dogs next week!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 7 years old. Im not just here to watch your dog, Im here to be their new best friend! I’ll give them all the love, playtime, and care they need so they’re happy!! (and spoil them a little) I will keep you updated and send pictures of your fur friend! I’m currently unemployed and Im a part time student! I spend most of my day at home, therefore your puppy will have all of my attention! :) I live in a house with a clean backyard, so space wont be an issue for your pup incase they need to run around. I currently own a small dog. I also live in a nice neighborhood with very kind neighbors, your dog will be safe! :)
“When she is available, Graciela is an awesome dog walker! Follows instructions, sends a very detailed and cute “report card” from each walk. She is very communicative of any concerns. Use her M- Fri and my pup and I are very appreciative.”

“Booked with Amber super last-minute! And will definitely book with her again! She responds really fast and asks all the right questions! My dog looks super happy in her after visit pictures! Will definitely use her again in the future and you should too!😊🐶”

About: I’ve taken care of not only my own dog, but many other neighbors and friends dogs. I love going on long walks with any of my dogs, and even short walks! I’m a rising college senior looking for summer work, and can’t wait to watch your pup! I currently am working as a nanny a couple days of the week, so looking for jobs to work around those hours, which change from week to week. Make sure to constantly keep an eye on any pets in the home. Asks questions about pets behavior prior to visit to ensure pet stays in good health and engage with pets!

About: I'm a dog lover! I had the most precious rescue (Papillion/Pomeranian named Sasha) growing up and by the time I finished undergrad, she had her wings. I love to spend time with my relatives’ dogs that include a Boston Terrier, Boxer, and an American Staff. If your dog has personality, likes to cuddle, or is sheer entertainment, I'm your sitter! My home is their world! Belly-rubs, playtime, and walks by the lake are non-negotiable! LOL! I work from home 3 days a week. Water is made accessible in two areas (where there food is and in my bedroom where they will sleep). Meals are provided per the instructions of the owner. Dogs are walked around the property 3-4 times a day: morning upon waking, afternoon, evening, and right before bed if needed. I keep one dog at a time unless they are from the same home. Dogs are allowed on the couch and couch covers are washed between pets and often washed and replaced with new covers for dogs that shed heavily. Harnesses are preferred when taking dogs on walks. The property has birds, squirrels, and ducks and harnesses offer better stability and control and remove the risk of throat pressure or choking from the leash.
About: Experienced dog sitter with 2 years caring for a German Shepherd and my own 15-year-old senior dog. Comfortable with all sizes. I am ready for your pets! I am available for pet care during the summer or anytime throughout the year. My schedule is flexible and can be easily discussed to fit your needs. I ensure pets are safe and comfortable by maintaining a clean environment, supervising them closely, and following the owner’s instructions carefully in any setting for you.
About: Having personally raised and cared for 4 dogs and 5 cats—all rescues—I understand firsthand that animals require a deep level of patience, empathy, and intuitive care. I treat every pet in my care exactly like my own family. My extensive background with rescue animals gives me a unique edge in managing diverse personalities, from energetic young pets to sensitive seniors. I am currently off for the summer. I am available for am, middle of the day and evening feedings, walks, etc. as needed for your pet care. I have a fenced yard that allows my dogs and cats to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors. My dogs follow a regular feeding and walking schedule, and I make it a priority to spend time with each of my animals every day, making sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. I have been involved in animal rescue for the past 10 years, during which I have fostered numerous animals and successfully helped them find loving permanent homes. Along the way, I have also welcomed a few of my fosters into my own family. My experience with rescue work has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, patience, and the individualized care that pets need to thrive
“I requested Alexandra to walk my boys very last minute and she responded immediately and fortunately was available. She really saved the day by being able to take care of them for me when I was in a bind and I can’t thank her enough. She always takes excellent care of my pups, communicates well, and sends lots of pictures. I know they loved and well taken care of when she’s there.”

“Cristina was very accommodating and flexible with a quick change of plan. She provided great updates and was timely. Would highly recommend in book in the future.”

“Robin is always amazing. My dog loves her and doesn't stop wagging her tail when she sees her. She also sends great pics and comments about their walk on the Rover card everyday. I highly recommend her!!”

About: I have experience caring for both elderly dogs and very young puppies, so I understand how different each stage of a dog’s life can be. With senior dogs, I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to their comfort, mobility, and any special routines they may need. With puppies, I’m energetic, consistent, and focused on creating a safe environment while reinforcing basic habits and routines. What sets me apart is my ability to adjust my care style to each dog’s specific needs. Whether your dog needs a calm, slow-paced walk or a fun, active outing, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every dog like they’re my own and prioritize clear communication so you always feel at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate consistent, focused time to each pet I care for. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or extended care, I plan my days to make sure pets are never rushed and always get the attention they deserve. I’m reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining your pet’s routine as closely as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In your home, I respect your space and carefully follow all instructions, routines, and preferences to keep your pet in a familiar, stress-free environment. I stay attentive during walks, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure pets are secure at all times. I build trust by communicating regularly, providing updates, and being dependable. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and any signs of discomfort so I can respond quickly and appropriately. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet feels comfortable and cared for.

“As always, Jaime is very attentive and caring, prompt with communication and on time. Our pet loves her and is excited to see her for his dog walks! We feel very lucky to have found her for our dog’s needs. I would recommend her to anyone who wants responsible care and attention for their pet!”

“My husband was out of the country for over a month and Phyllis was a life saver for my pup since I work late. She was super flexible and conscientious with my fur baby after an unrelated injury. I would definitely reach out again if her services are needed in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13! I’ve loved dogs ever since I can remember , and believe they deserve respect and care as man’s best friend. I’ve baby sat dogs for friend and neighbors throughout my life , and have learned how to give them relaxing baths , how to cut their nails , and brush their teeth. I’m used to working with leash pullers , and hav taught them how not to pull and walk by my side . I’m great at potty training younger ( and older !) pups that struggle to use the restroom outside . I have taken care of senior dogs before, and I make sure that they are mentally stimulated by playing with them on their beds if they are unable to love . Give me a chance to take care of your pup , and they will be even happier then ever before ! I am currently working part time - so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am super flexible and am willing to work around your schedule ! I have a fenced back yard with two friendly dogs that enjoy meeting new dogs to play with! Daisy is a playful gentle giant that enjoys meeting new friends , and Tulip is a couch potato !
Meyerland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Annabella was a fantastic dog walker! She was very communicative throughout the entire process and always kept me updated. I loved the photos she took—they really showed how much care and attention she gives. She was reliable, friendly, and it’s clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with pets. I felt totally comfortable knowing my dog was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend Annabella and would happily book her again!

I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention my dog received from Jessica. She was very polite, compassionate, and very good with Maxwell. I highly recommend her. She brought treats for him which was very nice of her. I will book with her again in the near future.

My husband was out of the country for over a month and Phyllis was a life saver for my pup since I work late. She was super flexible and conscientious with my fur baby after an unrelated injury. I would definitely reach out again if her services are needed in the future.

Patsy was a wonderful pet sitter! My dog is anxious and can be slow to warm up to people, but he quickly warmed up to Patsy. She went out of her way to make sure she communicated with me regularly, despite some issues with the app not notifying me when she had completed a walk. She even cleaned my dog's blankets after he threw up on them!! I would definitely recommend her to other pet parents.
