About: I'm a dog lover! I had the most precious rescue (Papillion/Pomeranian named Sasha) growing up and by the time I finished undergrad, she had her wings. I love to spend time with my relatives’ dogs that include a Boston Terrier, Boxer, and an American Staff. If your dog has personality, likes to cuddle, or is sheer entertainment, I'm your sitter! My home is their world! Belly-rubs, playtime, and walks by the lake are non-negotiable! LOL! I work from home 3 days a week. Water is made accessible in two areas (where there food is and in my bedroom where they will sleep). Meals are provided per the instructions of the owner. Dogs are walked around the property 3-4 times a day: morning upon waking, afternoon, evening, and right before bed if needed. Dogs are allowed on the couch and couch covers are washed between stays. They are often washed during stays for dogs that shed heavily. Dogs are walked during potty breaks and I prefer harnesses over collars. The property has squirrels and several ducks, and harnesses offer better stability and control and remove the risk of throat pressure or choking from the leash. I have food and water bowls, and doggy beds.

I have a lot of flexibility as to when and where to watch your dogs! I have been walking dogs for about 6 years. From small, medium to large dogs! I love watching "the dog whisperer"! Gives me lots of ideas on how to interact with all types of dogs. I am an introvert and have depended on dogs to keep me company! I love dogs because they love their caretakers unconditionally! My experience includes volunteering at local animal shelters, including BARC, caring for my family's German Shepherd for over a decade, raising and training my own Goldendoodle for the past four years, and looking after my sister's cat. I've also cared for dogs while babysitting, giving me experience managing multiple responsibilities while ensuring every pet receives individual attention. I'm active, reliable, and love spending time outdoors, so whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, or simply getting plenty of love and attention, I'll make sure they feel happy and comfortable. I'm experienced with brushing and grooming Goldendoodles, using positive reinforcement to train dogs, and reinforcing basic commands and good manners. I'll provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can feel confident your pet is in great hands while you're away. My goal is to give every pet a safe, fun, and stress free experience while giving you complete peace of mind. I’m currently on summer break from teaching, so my schedule is flexible. I take yoga classes in the mornings or the evenings, and I also travel on occasion during summer break.
