Roy was great with Fugee. My pup is pretty shy and anxious when meeting new folks but she took to Roy as soon as I opened the car door. He sent pictures throughout the day as well as updates. Roy was very responsive prior to Fugee’s daycare date. When I came to pick her up after work she was very relaxed. I’d recommend him to anyone!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of them through every age, from puppy to senior. I am experienced with senior dogs and understand their special needs and more than happy to help how I can. I work from home, so I’m always with your dog when I have them over. This also allows me to be flexible for potty breaks and walks. I am also able to visit them in your home if needed during lunch hours or any time after 4pm. Weekends I am completely free. Any pets at my place are free to roam as they please. They can even lay on my bed if that’s cozy for them. I do not have a yard, but my apartments do have an area outside for me to take them on potty breaks. Very receptive to any instructions you may have.

We are very selective about leaving our little boy with anyone. But, we immediately felt comfortable with Megan and Kerry. They were great and Mokee had a good time. After we're away from him, he normally goes wild to see us again. This time he was "ho hum, you're back." Oddly, that makes me happy! 😂

About: I have taken care of pets since before I can remember! I grew up in a house with Akitas, Pit Bulls, and now I own the sweetest Chocolate Lab (and my parents have the best Frenchie)! I have also taken care of our cats, rabbit, and horse over the years! I am a college student transitioning to working from home so I can make just about anything work! I love spending plenty of time with my pets so I will spend just as much, if not more, with yours to make them feel at home and ensure they are happy and loved while you are gone! In my home, I have the sweetest chocolate lab who is crate trained (and neutered) and can be separated if needed but otherwise your dog will have free roam! I can rotate who is out and who is up if that is something you would want! Dogs will sleep in their crates (unless they are used to sleeping out at night) for peace of mind and to keep them used to their routines! We have a large fenced yard so there is plenty of time for your dog to get all their energy out! In your home, I will do whatever is asked of me!

About: Caring for dogs and cats is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences! I have over 11 years of paid and volunteered hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, including my own animals and those I’ve fostered through rescue organizations. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life but over the past 11 years I have volunteered at various animal shelters and provided the services I now offer on Rover through word-of-mouth and other platforms/websites! I have experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages—from newborns to seniors—and pets with medical conditions, special needs, and behavioral challenges. I also have experience with birds, rabbits, and some reptiles. My family owns a farm so I have experience providing care for farm animals as well! What sets me apart is my ability to quickly assess and adapt to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m especially patient and attentive with nervous or reactive animals, and I’m experienced in administering medications, maintaining structured routines, and creating calm, secure environments for animals in transition. AND I just might take the cutest/funniest candid photos of your pet that you’ve ever seen. Check out my photo gallery of cute fur babies I’ve loved on! Fostering has also given me valuable experience with socialization, basic training, post-surgery care, and working with pets recovering from trauma or neglect. I genuinely love building trust with animals and helping them feel safe, which is something pet owners consistently appreciate when they leave their companions in my care. IMPORTANT NOTES: *House sitting is a great way to ensure your pet has companionship in addition to having their physical needs met (food, water, bathroom etc.) Please note that house sitting and constant care are two separate services. Constant care (aka 24/7 house sitting) means that I would only leave your pet in the event of a genuine emergency. Otherwise, all of my time will be spent at your home caring for your pet. This is priced at an hourly rate, which will vary case by case. For traditional house sitting, we will discuss a plan that you’re comfortable with for how often I will leave your pet(s), and how long they will be left alone. If your request is well in advance of the stay, I can most likely adjust my schedule to focus more on your pet(s) if needed. Please vocalize your wants, needs, and expectations. **Meet and greets strongly suggested/required in some cases if: A) You have a pet with extreme anxiety, behavioral issues, or unknown reactions to being left in the care of a new person. B) You live in an apartment complex—mainly if you feel or have been told that your complex is difficult to navigate. I don’t want a large chunk of the visit to be spent trying to fI want to be spending as much time with your pet as possible! C) You have particularly unique and/or specific preferences for your pet’s care. I love detailed instructions—actually, I prefer you share as many details with me as you’d like. No one has ever bothered me with too many details/instructions! I would love to get a feel for and see what this will look like during the meet and greet. ***as of 2/20/26 I will have moved from Franklin, TN 37069 to Nashville, TN 37215. My ability to continue services with repeat clients from before that date (without an additional distance fee) is contingent on driving time to your location. **** if you find any part of the booking is not meeting your standards/expectations, please communicate this to me so I can adjust the issue or potentially request a refund via customer support for that visit. I strive to individualize care per your requests in order to effectively meet the needs of every client. Furthermore, I want my clients to always feel heard and supported. *****Boarding and day care information if you have a medium to XL size dog, pets who don’t react well to cats, and/or you prefer a yard and extensive exercise during the booking: My family owns a large property and farm about 10 minutes from my apartment. I am able to stay there in their guest house with your pets rather than board them at my apartment. That’s why it says I live in Greenhills yet also have a yard/fence, and live on a farm. This is honestly preferable for any large dog who are guarded/activated around other dogs. Like most apartment complexes, my complex is heavily populated by dog owners and we would encounter other dogs each time we go outside. That being said, I can still board larger and/or reactive dogs, dogs who don’t mix well with cats, and dogs requiring extra exercise. We would just be staying on the farm! ____________ More about me (if you’re curious): -Outside of pet care I am a licensed social worker (non-practicing at the moment) and a part time esthetician student. My social work career mostly includes providing individual or group mental health therapy, and case management for individuals experiencing homelessness, previously incarcerated, and/or with mental health and substance use disorders. As you can probably imagine, shifting towards Rover and esthetician school has been a major change! -During my free time I love working out—Pilates, barre, & running/walking. I’m relatively athletic so I can provide exercise tailored to each pet’s needs. With pets whose owners would prefer more exercise, I am able to provide more fast paced exercise, such as speed walking or jogging. And you’ll never have to worry if your dog happens to be a larger dog and/or pulls on the leash. Still haven’t met a dog I haven’t been able to walk! -I’m very big on volunteer work since I am not currently practicing social work. I have a very nurturing side, and while I’m so excited to become an esthetician, I would love to still be engaged in service of others. Right now I am developing an outline for a “pay what you can” farm-to-table service using the products of my family’s farm. Also in progress is an incorporation of my skincare, beauty, and wellness services into a larger ministry that serves survivors of trafficking, addiction, and/or DV. -During my free time I also enjoy binging thrillers and crime dramas during my free time. I’ve been getting into true crime podcasts. So yes, I’ll most likely be listening to Dateline while driving to our meet and greet at your house when I’ve never met you before. As if I need to be any more nervous about that part of this job! Happy to do it though. I love this job. But if you do happen to want to meet at a dog park or coffee place, I won’t object! - I’m a Nashville native and the oldest of four kids in my family. I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert. I enjoy my alone time and being home as much as possible. But if you bring me around social situations, I could talk to just about anyone about anything. - I have a kitten, young adult kitty, and a senior cat living with me full time. I have a senior (family) dog living with me only a few months out of the year when my parents snowbird in Florida. However, due to his recent decline in health/mobility, he most likely won’t be living with me in Winter 2026, unfortunately. Until I graduate the first week of October, I will be commuting to a night school M-Th 5:30pm-10pm. I work another job remotely and set my own schedule, which doesn’t impact my Rover bookings much. I typically know my schedule 1-3 weeks out, so scheduling conflicts are adjustable if I’m already available for the majority of the booking. Last minute bookings are typically contingent on your flexibility with the visit times and/or my being available without having to cancel appointments, or compromise the quality of another pre-existing booking. With that being said, I do accept last minute bookings when able, at no extra charge. I’m happy to chat and try to come up with a game plan that works for everyone! Rover is my main obligation outside of school, apart from occasional appointments here and there. Being available, flexible, and dependable for my rover bookings is extremely important to me! Alongside client satisfaction, self-care is imperative to me. While I am finishing school over the next couple months, I typically will not accept early morning bookings unless there is flexibility with the times. However, I am able to offer late night visits on days off from school due to my routine sleep schedule. Quite a few of my repeat clients work night shifts and I’ve provided care for their pets between 11pm-4am. I try to avoid committing to any visits after 4am and before 10am so that I can keep a consistent sleep schedule, and be punctual for you! When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, including dietary needs, medications, walking preferences, and any behavioral considerations. I have gained a good amount of experience over the last few years in the area of taking care of senior pets and pre-adoption pets. My pup, Pasco, is currently receiving medications and palliative care, so I have personally experience in this area. Before adopting my kitten, Ocean, I recently fostered three pre-adopted kittens that needed bottle-feeding and gentle help with passing stool. I make sure the home environment is pet-proofed—keeping hazards like wires, cleaning products, and choking risks out of reach. I also monitor pets closely for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and will notify the owner immediately if anything seems off. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is equally important. I take time to get to know each animal’s temperament, routines, and comfort zones so they feel safe and secure in my presence. Whether in my home or theirs, I maintain a calm, structured environment, offer plenty of positive attention, and create a consistent routine that pets can rely on. Regarding trust and safety, as a sitter I also request that you disclose any video and/or audio surveillance inside your home before officially booking with me. It goes against Rover’s guidelines (and federal law) to not disclose indoor surveillance. I recognize that it is part of today’s culture to have at least some form of video surveillance on one’s property. 90% of clients I work with have some form of video surveillance. As an owner myself, who also hires Rover sitters to care for my pets, I understand there’s an element of trust that has not yet been built, in addition to the general security concerns associated with being out of town. I am not against video surveillance and wouldn’t turn away a client for having a couple cameras. However, excessive surveillance throughout the inside of your home is not something I’m comfortable with, personally. I have no doubt you’ll find someone who doesn’t mind, but I am not that person. For in-home services, I’m respectful of the client’s space—leaving things clean and secure, and keeping communication open with daily updates, photos, and check-ins so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who understands that pets are family. I've cared for animals for as long as I can remember—from helping family and friends with their pets to raising my own dog. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave your furry family member in someone else's care, which is why I make it my priority to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both you and your pup. When your dog is with me, they'll be treated like one of my own. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, belly rubs, enrichment, or relaxing on the couch after an active day, I'll make sure they receive the attention, affection, and care they deserve. Every dog has their own personality and routine, and I'm happy to adapt to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. You'll never have to wonder how your dog is doing. I believe communication is one of the most important parts of pet sitting, so I'll send regular photo and video updates along with messages about our adventures, walks, naps, meals, and all the tail wags in between. I live in a community with plenty of green space and walking paths, making it perfect for exercise and sniff-filled adventures. If your dog enjoys getting out and exploring, I'm also happy to visit local parks or dog-friendly trails (with your approval) to keep them active and engaged. My goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind while giving your dog a fun, safe, and loving home away from home. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be alone and will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. We start the morning with a walk, enjoy outdoor time and play breaks during the afternoon, and finish the day with another walk to burn off any remaining energy before settling in for the evening. I love spending time outside whenever I can, and if your dog enjoys adventures too, I'd be happy to bring them along on walks, park visits, or dog-friendly trails (with your permission). My flexible work schedule allows me to maintain your dog's routine, provide frequent potty breaks, and give them the companionship, exercise, and affection they deserve. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while giving you peace of mind that they're receiving attentive, personalized care all day long. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home is a clean, pet-friendly environment where your pup can relax, play, and feel right at home. They'll have cozy places to rest, a variety of toys to keep them entertained, and—of course—plenty of love and the occasional treat (with your approval!). Your dog will also have a built-in companion during their stay. I have a calm, friendly, 5-year-old Lab mix named Jake who loves meeting new dogs and is great at helping them feel comfortable. I always introduce dogs thoughtfully and make sure everyone is getting along before allowing them to play together. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll treat your pup like family, providing a safe, loving environment where they can have fun, relax, and receive the same care and attention I'd want for my own dog.

About: I’ve had my own pets for 34 years while also fostering for local rescues. I loved each as they were my children. My last 3 lived together and lived to be 16, 16 and 14. As they aged, they all needed special care. I am without pets at this time because I lost my last senior in April 2025 so I have lots of love to give. Life isn’t the same without fur in it and I would love to care for yours by sharing cuddles, kisses, playtime, walks, and whatever else is requested to make your fur child happy. I understand the stress in leaving a pet so rest assure, they will receive the best care and you will be kept up to date as you wish. I am home days and nights and make my own schedule. I am happy to work with your schedule to accommodate. Please don’t hesitate to ask! I have a 6’ fenced backyard but I always stay outside with them while they are out. I live in a 1 story home so no stairs to worry with (just 1 step off the outside back porch). I do have a large crate I am happy to set up if your dog prefers a crate but your dog is welcome to sleep where you know they will be most happy, including my bed. For those that may have short legs, issues with jumping, etc., I do have dog ramps for the bed and couch. Just let me know and I will set them up. It would be just me and your pets day and night.

About: I have cared for animals large and small my whole life, I have raised a variety of puppies, and I have cared for senior and special needs animals. I can walk, feed, potty and administer medications to dogs. I can play with and feed kitties, but have less experience with cats that need medications. I currently have a 6 year old beagle mix who has a very high maintenance personality. He has a meal and potty routine that would be hard to manage if I did not work from home. I am fortunate that my job allows me the flexibility to care for my dog, and also allows me the time to help you out with your pets who may need to be cared for while you’re away from home.
