About: I am kind, caring and affectionate and I will respect your rules. I have been a pet owner for over 25 years. I have also been involved in caring for and rescuing many pets over the years. This has been my great joy. My home is pet friendly and pet safe. I understand how it feels to leave your beloved pets and I know how much it means to know that your sweet ones are feeling happy and well loved while you are away. I enjoy sending my clients pics of their pets during their stay. Providing secure accommodations and a fun place to stay is paramount. This is my absolute purpose, goal, and pleasure. Pet sitting is my only job. I am home all day. With your approval, your dogs will be free to enjoy inside or outside. I have a secure privacy fence and a pet door for easy access. Of course, if you prefer a more regimented potty break schedule and time outside, I am happy to oblige. I allow dogs to make themselves at home. Sitting on furniture is A-okay. (as long as you approve.) I will certainly respect your rules. I like our dog visitors to be comfortable, feeling safe and welcome. I have a ChiWeenie; who sleeps A LOT and keeps to herself mostly; however, she is friendly. I also have a very friendly and playful Jack Russell/Beagle mix who enjoys company. My yard is secure and fun. We also have patio furniture they can lounge on. I keep our upstairs access gated. Of course, I will follow your instruction in regard to their sleeping. I am happy to do a “meet and greet” prior to your scheduling.

About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

About: I have owned dogs throughout my life and have watched the dogs of friends often! I am experienced in caring for their basic needs, and I enjoy giving them a memorable and fun experience by going to the dog park, engaging in play, or simply chilling on the couch! I also know how to do basic grooming, such as bathing and nail trimming, but not hair trimming. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, and know how to administer medication and am adaptable to any other accommodations they may require. Rover has been a part time gig for me for the past year, but I have found a passion for taking care of Nashville's fuzzy friends and I am looking to devote more time towards accommodating new and returning clients! My schedule is wide open, so I can accommodate pretty much any schedule! I also own my personal reptiles and can provide extensive reptile care- snakes, geckos, lizards, and monitors are all in my wheelhouse! When caring for your pets at my home, I am always home to supervise! My dog, Ruby, is a very sweet girl who loves to meet new friends, but I'm very aware that dogs can be fickle, so I am always on the lookout for any concerning behavior for everyone's safety. While I do not have a fenced in yard, I am more than happy to take pups to Two Rivers Dog Park, with permission of course! At your home, I take the time to become familiar with your animal's preferences, and I pay close attention to the details that a dedicated pet owner only knows about! Have a special food, bed time, or play routine? I'll stick to it like superglue! Allowing me in your home requires a significant amount of trust that I do not take lightly- I make it a point to treat your home with the same level of respect as I treat mine. I value communication and keep myself within's an arm's reach of my phone in case any questions, concerns, last minute requests, or emergencies occur. I pride myself on keeping your home tidier than you left it, providing my own food/necessities myself, and following any and all house rules.

About: I have been a dog mom for over six years now and ever since I got my Louie (male Yorkie) I’ve cared for puppies of all ages. I can administer medication and provide a safe and loving environment. In my home the babies are aloud on furniture and will have a fenced backyard to play. P.S.: I can only care for small/medium dogs. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule. I’m able to give them lots of attention and keep them safe and happy alongside my fur baby boy! I have a fenced in backyard and can provide safe play and potty times. I’ll promptly follow your instructions on feeding and medication administration (oral only).
