About: We consistently watch friends’ dogs and have grown up with dogs our whole life. Our friends and neighbors rely on us to take care of their loving pets. We get home earlier from work than others (4pm) and have all the time to love on your pet after school! We are teachers, so we get up early and get home around 4. We can walk and play with your pup in the morning and go on a nice walk after work! We have toys for them to play with while we’re gone and will leave some music on for them. On the weekends, we love to be active with pups and take them to the dog park if wanted and love on them all day! We live in a gated community with a large dog park. We have access to other dogs that your pup can play with, and our apartment also has a pet washing station where we can bathe your dog! We also have space for your dog to roam in our home, and have a toy basket for them to choose toys to play with. We also have blankets they can lay on when sitting on the couch.

About: I am a work-from-home (dog) mom. I have two Australian Shepherds, who I have raised since they were both 8 weeks old, so I have experience with very high energy dogs/puppies. They are very well behaved with other dogs, and love to socialize. I have always grown up with dogs since I was 4 years old, and couldn’t imagine not having a dog at any age. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am able to give constant attention throughout the day, including regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and feeding! Since I am home a lot of the time, pets are not alone for long periods of time. I also love to stay active, so walks & outdoor time are regular parts of my day. At home, I create a safe, comfortable and low-stress environment. With my two dogs, I often watch my best friend’s dog, so I am very used to managing multiple dogs. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. If a clients dog prefers its own time/space, I can accommodate due to having multiple floors/rooms in my home for separation. When caring for a clients dog in their home, I’m very respectful of their space and stick to the schedule I am told. I also provide updates such as photos and videos so the owner is more comfortable!

If you require care during the week, I can do long morning walks and evening walks and a walk during my lunch if nearby I live in an apartment and have an enclosed dog park. And after much begging to my mother, we rescued my childhood dog from a humane society shelter in Ft. Worth, TX, and the rest is history. With me, you can rest easy knowing that your beloved family member is receiving all the love and care possible. Animals are not a job, but a life passion of mine! My first pet sitting experience, at the age of 6 (under the supervision of my mother), is one I won't soon forget. The neighbors had tasked me with watching their cat while they were away. The only problem was that they had forgotten to leave us a key to the apartment. Times like this one taught me to be quick on my feet in emergent situations. In the end, we were able to secure a key, and the cat was safe and well cared for. Over the years, my experience grew immeasurably, and even included a long standing stint as a "dog nanny" when her dog mom and dad vacationed. Expect for your furry family member to receive extra doses of love, top-notch care, walks, play time, snuggles (at no extra charge), and more! I do always make sure my dogs get good walks, treats, and food in before my shifts. *** I live at the end of a cul de sac that offers plenty of outdoor and walking space! I also live alone, so no roommates or other dogs (although I do sometimes have multiple Rover clients at once pending the dogs do well with each other, so please let me know if your dog must be booked solo). I am in between jobs at the moment, so Rover is my full time income. This means extra quality time and love for your babies! If your dog is crate trained, feel free to bring it along, as this can provide a sense of comfort and safe space them. I do have a camera that I sometimes use to check in on the dogs, should I have to leave to run a quick errand or something.

I am 29 and working on my my msw and own a pomsky named Tobias that I call Toby and a rescue mountain cur named Landon, ages 4 and 5. Toby I've had since a puppy and he is the sweetest. I am very much a dog person and dogs feed off of that! I will send you periodic updates with pictures and feel free to message because I know how it is and want you to be worry free! Please let me know the personality of the dog and I will probably do a meet and greet with you there if possible prior to your departure so that the dog can get accustomed to me and we can make sure that everyone is comfortable.
