About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other pets. I currently live in a home with a fully fenced yard, which provides a safe and secure place for dogs to play and get plenty of exercise. I also have a friendly Black Lab who gets along great with other dogs and enjoys having new friends to run around with. For three years, I volunteered at a veterinary hospital where I helped care for dogs and other animals. If you’re heading out of town, you can relax knowing your pets will be cared for in a safe, comfortable environment by someone who genuinely loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously I work 9am to 4pm in Nashville but can work remote. I am home in the evenings and can come home for lunch if need be to give extra attention. I have a fenced yard and a safe home. My dog sleeps in my bed and your fur baby to welcome where ever he or she chooses.

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. About: I am a work-from-home (dog) mom. I have two Australian Shepherds, who I have raised since they were both 8 weeks old, so I have experience with very high energy dogs/puppies. They are very well behaved with other dogs, and love to socialize. I have always grown up with dogs since I was 4 years old, and couldn’t imagine not having a dog at any age. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am able to give constant attention throughout the day, including regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and feeding! Since I am home a lot of the time, pets are not alone for long periods of time. I also love to stay active, so walks & outdoor time are regular parts of my day. At home, I create a safe, comfortable and low-stress environment. With my two dogs, I often watch my best friend’s dog, so I am very used to managing multiple dogs. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. If a clients dog prefers its own time/space, I can accommodate due to having multiple floors/rooms in my home for separation. When caring for a clients dog in their home, I’m very respectful of their space and stick to the schedule I am told. I also provide updates such as photos and videos so the owner is more comfortable!

For services within my home: I have a large, adult, fixed male dog who is great with other dogs and is very calm. I have two acres of unfenced property with beautiful mature trees and surrounded by farmland. My dog and I frequently sit on the back patio and enjoy the sounds of nature. Depending on the needs of your dog, I can take them on our regular walk to the nearby park (about 1.5miles total, 1-3x per day) or shorter walks around the property. For services in your home: I understand the importance of your dog's routine and I have the flexibility to offer services so that they won't skip a beat when you're out of town.

They'll almost always have someone with them, aside from the occasional hour or two when I step out for the gym. I live in an apartment, but your pup will enjoy plenty of walks and exercise. “Margaret provided a safe and very quiet space for our anxious pup, Rio, while we explored Nashville on our cross country trip. We travel a lot, and Rio has been in a lot of Rover homes. Margaret’s setup was one of the better ones we’ve visited, and she had a good rapport with Rio. He slept for much of the day, which he doesn’t always do at Rover.
