About: I have always been an animal lover and have grown up with dogs in my home. Neighbors, family and teachers/professors have relied on me to walk, feed and tire out their pets when they are out of town or gone for long periods of time. I have 2 dogs of my own and know how easy it is to worry about if they are okay when they are home for long durations of time without a check in or walk. I'm available after 3:30 Monday through Friday and anytime on Saturday and Sundays. Can also be available for lunch breaks on Monday, Thursday and Friday if needed. Depending on what the dog owners are comfortable with and if the space permits, I love to play in fenced in backyards to tire out fur babies (fetch, tug of war, chase, etc). I also love a good walk with lots of sniff and potty breaks!

About: My cat Kora gave me six of the best years of my life and completely stole my heart. Being her human taught me so much about patience, love, responsibility, and the unique personalities that make cats so special! From playtime and cuddle sessions to learning her little habits and favorite spots, every moment with her has been a humongous joy.🥹 When I moved, one of the hardest parts was leaving Kora behind with my roommate. “Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. About: I have been volunteering with and advocating for animal welfare since I was a teenager. I have my own pets and I actively volunteer at an animal sanctuary in NE Tennessee. Your pets will be loved, safe, and cared for. I have a leadership position at my job and my days are flexible. I am generally able to leave work to walk and return. I live in Nashville. I have two dogs if your pet needs company. I can also leave them at home if need be as I have a very trusted roommate who I will split rover funds with. After my dog's passing I had to fill the void left by his absence so I decided to care for other dogs. I prefer to keep your pets routine as consistent as possible to their current schedule so I will ask about their feeding times and preferred activities. ● DAYCARE - 7:00AM - 7:00PM Early and/or late drop off/pick up times are subject to additional fees. ● BOARDING - Drop off as early as 7:00AM (or a pre-arranged earlier time as I try to accommodate individual needs as early as 5:00 am and such) with pick up within 2 hours of the drop off time on the day of departure. Pick up times outside of the 2 hour drop off will most likely result in a half day or rate or full day rate as Rover.com automatically calculates the rates. ***Arrangements can be made for different boarding needs such as later arrival for which a later pick up time on the departure day would be appropriate. I'm super flexible and can most likely accommodate last minute changes and unforseen circumstances. I want to minimize any worries for you and your fur babies. ❤️🐕 Rest assured that your dogs safety and security is a priority. Also, crate trained or the ability for your pet to be crated is preferred (exceptions can be made) to ensure your pets safety while unattended & to reduce the likelihood of any harmful events occurring. I am home full-time but there may be instances where I may need to run a quick errand, shower, etc. that may require for me to be away for a short time. When I'm at home your pup will have access to roam freely throughout the space.

I’ve been a regular pet sitter and walker for friends and family for years, and through Rover I’ve had the chance to care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
