I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other pets. I currently live in a home with a fully fenced yard, which provides a safe and secure place for dogs to play and get plenty of exercise. I also have a friendly Black Lab who gets along great with other dogs and enjoys having new friends to run around with. For three years, I volunteered at a veterinary hospital where I helped care for dogs and other animals. That experience gave me valuable hands-on experience working with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and needs, and it helped me develop a strong understanding of responsible and attentive pet care. Over the years, I’ve also house-sat and pet-sat for many friends and families while they were out of town. I take pride in making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding routines, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. In my professional career, I work in Human Resources, where trust, responsibility, and reliability are essential. I understand how important it is to feel confident about who is caring for your pets and home. I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and regular communication while you’re away—even daily if you’d like—so you always know how your pets are doing. If you’re heading out of town, you can relax knowing your pets will be cared for in a safe, comfortable environment by someone who genuinely loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously

We had a wonderful experience with Austin! He took excellent care of Zeus and treated him like part of the family. We loved receiving regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Zeus was getting plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Austin even took him on outings and adventures(with our permission), making sure he stayed active and happy. When we picked him up, he was relaxed, well cared for, and clearly had a great time. We are so grateful for the outstanding care and communication throughout Zeus’s stay. We would highly recommend this sitter to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring for their pets!

Austin was great with Mara! He sent detailed updates and great photos. She also had an ear infection and he was on top of giving her meds as well. Will definitely use him again.
Austin and his wife took AMAZING care of our Luna girl! We just moved to Nashville and have never left her with anyone we didn’t already know before, so we were anxious leaving her. Austin sent us pictures and updates which helped ease the nerves of leaving her behind. Their dog Lucy also was so so good with Luna and they played all weekend! Our dog also is very particular about sleeping under a blanket or under the covers and they embraced and loved her for all of her quirks so that she felt right at home. We definitely will be looking into rebooking in the future!
Austin was an amazing dog sitter! He kept us up to date with pictures and summaries of his visit, came at the times he discussed with us, and our dogs loved him! It was great to have Austin keep our dogs happy on our trip, he helped so much! Thanks Austin!

Schedule
I work 9am to 4pm in Nashville but can work remote. I am home in the evenings and can come home for lunch if need be to give extra attention.

A typical day
I enjoy taking clients animals to dog parks or walks whichever they prefer. My dog and I are tied at the hip and always enjoy another buddy to tag along.
