“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

About: I’ve had dogs in the house all of my life and grew up taking care of my neighbors dogs as well. I have experience with dogs ranging all over from 5 lbs to 80 lbs! Most of my experience is taking care of a labor doodle and cat pairing where I managed both their schedules and needs accordingly! :) Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine, and I prioritize consistency, attention, and making sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. I build my schedule around regular feeding times, fresh water, exercise, and quality time, whether that means walks, playtime, or just being present and attentive to their needs. About: Neighbors and friends have always asked me to take care of their fur babies. I have been watching my neighbor's cats since I was a teenager when they are out of town. I take my brothers dog for walks and runs all the time. I love and take care of their fur babies like they were my own! I work from home 3 days a week so so I have plenty of time to take your pets on walks and play with them. I can even run with them if thats something they would like to do. On the weekends they will have all of my attention and I do have a small backyard but there is plenty of room to play. I have a small back yard but there is plenty of room to play. My yard is fenced in so your dog will be safe under my watch.

About: I have worked with animals for the past 19 years. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in animal science and have worked with many different species from young to old. My work experience ranges from general practice and emergency room veterinarian clinics, an animal shelter to the Knoxville zoo, and 7 years in animal agriculture. My love for all animals runs deep and through my experience I am able to administer medications, perform CPR, and just understand animal behavior all together. I personally have had two dachshunds of my own from young rescues to 17 year old seniors. I currently work remote and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate any needs of an animal in my care. Daily walks are part of my routine regardless of the weather. I live in a home that has been converted into a duplex tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. I have a balcony allowing for outside access for bird watching or just plain old barking. I have a large backyard but not fenced. Dog beds in every room. Every animal in my care is like family meaning no couch or bed is off limits. I often plan my daily outings to allow for my animals to come with me or spend limited time alone.

“Margaret provided a safe and very quiet space for our anxious pup, Rio, while we explored Nashville on our cross country trip. We travel a lot, and Rio has been in a lot of Rover homes. Margaret’s setup was one of the better ones we’ve visited, and she had a good rapport with Rio. He slept for much of the day, which he doesn’t always do at Rover. That means he felt safe, secure, and at peace. We will book again the next time we’re in Nashville!”
