Pet care experience

East Nashville dog pro

*PLEASE READ* Please be absolutely 100% sure your dog likes other dogs if you book with us! We have had several recent stays in the last six months where the owners say the dog is great with other animals and then the dog attacks our dog or a neighbors dog. Our dog is wonderful and loves other dogs and I don’t want anything ruined for him in that regard - or for your pup! If you’re not sure or you haven’t tried, I recommend booking a sitter with no pets, especially if they’re a puppy or untrained and you’re not 100% sure. Thank you so much! I have hands on experience with every life stage. I have fostered 15+ dogs and owned 3, from day-old bottle babies to seniors at end of life. I am calm, patient, and very observant. I can read body language, ease anxiety, and keep routines consistent. I am comfortable with medical needs, including pills, eye drops, ear meds, wound care, and insulin injections. I support seniors with mobility help and potty schedules, and I have raised lots of puppies with crate work, potty training, leash manners, and enrichment games. I am confident with large breeds and pitties, and I always use positive reinforcement and clear communication. (I also think all dogs are perfect floof angels that deserve all the pats and will act accordingly!).

Katherine and Lior were fabulous. We enjoyed getting pictures of the pups and they clearly enjoyed the yard and cuddle time.

Katherine and Lior were kind and communicative! They took great care of my pup, answered questions with ease, and kept us updated with pictures. Would 100% book with them again.

Katherine was an extremely kind person. I had concerns about my puppy being annoying to her dog before booking, but she assured me it would not be a problem. She said he would send me lots of updates. I did not hear from her unless I messaged her- which she was very responsive and kind. Upon pickup- her husband let me know my dog 9month old puppy was great by himself but was a problem to their dog. Once getting my puppy home- I realized he had eye damage and we now have to have a 1700 surgery to correct his eye. He is also terrified to come out of his crate now and runs away from our neighbors dogs who he used to be friends with. I’m sure this couple is awesome but if your dog has ever been annoying I would hesitate before leaving it with them as I was not made aware of any trauma to his face nor really any updates.

We left our pups with Katherine twice now and both times they came home so happy (and tired!). She was very responsive and flexible with our flight delays. We are sad that our time in Nashville has come to an end and wish we could take her (and Bronco) with us!

Katherine did a fantastic job watching our dogs. She took great care of them them and made sure they got to spend a lot of time outside. Can’t recommend her enough.

I work full time remote for myself in East, which gives me plenty of time for your pets! Given my experience fostering, I can host boarding or do longer stays. I send updates with photos and notes after each visit. I can adjust to your dog’s routine, meds, and training plan.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety comes first. I can do a meet-and-greet, confirm routines, triggers, and vet info, and set clear handoff instructions. In my home I have a fully fenced yard, crates and baby gates for safe separation, and supervised outdoor time only. I keep food, toys, and cleaning supplies secured, follow your feeding and medication schedule, and sanitize bowls and bedding between stays. For client homes I lock doors, use your gear, and stick to your rules to keep stress low. I keep an emergency plan with local vet contacts and will always communicate quickly if anything seems off.

Pets

A typical day

Morning potty break and breakfast, then a relaxed sniff walk so your dog can explore. We have tons of play enrichment games like snuffle mats, food puzzles, etc. Midday is water and rest in a calm space, with cuddles if your pup likes that. Afternoon play in the yard or indoor fetch and tug. Evening stroll, dinner, meds if needed, gentle brush or paw wipe, and photo updates after each visit. Dogs are welcome on the couch, bed, etc.
