“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

About: I’ve had dogs in the house all of my life and grew up taking care of my neighbors dogs as well. I have experience with dogs ranging all over from 5 lbs to 80 lbs! Most of my experience is taking care of a labor doodle and cat pairing where I managed both their schedules and needs accordingly! :) Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine, and I prioritize consistency, attention, and making sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. I build my schedule around regular feeding times, fresh water, exercise, and quality time, whether that means walks, playtime, or just being present and attentive to their needs. About: Neighbors and friends have always asked me to take care of their fur babies. I have been watching my neighbor's cats since I was a teenager when they are out of town. I take my brothers dog for walks and runs all the time. I love and take care of their fur babies like they were my own! I work from home 3 days a week so so I have plenty of time to take your pets on walks and play with them. I can even run with them if thats something they would like to do. On the weekends they will have all of my attention and I do have a small backyard but there is plenty of room to play. I have a small back yard but there is plenty of room to play. My yard is fenced in so your dog will be safe under my watch.

“Margaret provided a safe and very quiet space for our anxious pup, Rio, while we explored Nashville on our cross country trip. We travel a lot, and Rio has been in a lot of Rover homes. Margaret’s setup was one of the better ones we’ve visited, and she had a good rapport with Rio. He slept for much of the day, which he doesn’t always do at Rover. That means he felt safe, secure, and at peace. We will book again the next time we’re in Nashville!”

About: Hi! We are Saori and Jonathan. We love pups and hope to take care of yours. Jonathan grew up caring for his family dog, and we have regularly taken care of friends' dogs for 10+ years. We finally adopted our own rescue dog in 2020 (an adorable little Beagle named Alfie), who has taken a *very* long time to come out of his shell. We have a lot of experience working with professionals to improve Alfie's anxiety. That experience has taught us a lot about reading dog body language and the importance of creating an environment that makes nervous dogs more comfortable. Your dog will get that same loving, calm energy here. We strive to make our home a dog-friendly location safe for every dog. Saori works part-time from home, and therefore has a lot of flexibility to play with your pooch and spend quality time together! On a typical day, we take dogs for a walk on the quiet neighborhood streets, on the trails in Shelby Bottoms, or in the dog park (if they are up for it). On weekends, we like to take a longer walk on trails whenever we can, and have plenty of cozy downtime at home in between. Given our own dog's separation anxiety, someone is always at home. If we ever need to leave them alone, we will let you know. We have fenced-in front and back yards where your pup can enjoy a sniffing adventure, playing fetch, or sunbathing on the lawn. We have dog beds throughout the house, and our canine guests are allowed on any furniture. We do not crate our dog, but can keep the same routine you have at home and let your dog sleep wherever they are most comfortable. We feed our dog twice a day and can accommodate other schedules or feeding dogs separately.

I work a normal Monday-Friday office job but I work next door to my apartment community! So I can walk over to take dogs on walks multiple times a day. Of course, if you prefer a more regimented potty break schedule and time outside, I am happy to oblige. I allow dogs to make themselves at home. Sitting on furniture is a-okay. (as long as you approve.) I will certainly respect your rules. I like our dog visitors to be comfortable, feeling safe and welcome. I have a ChiWeenie; who sleeps A LOT and keeps to herself mostly; however, she is friendly. I also have a very friendly and playful Jack Russell/Beagle mix who enjoys company. My yard is secure and fun. We also have patio furniture they can lounge on. I keep our upstairs access gated. Of course, I will follow your instruction in regard to their sleeping. I am happy to do a “meet and greet” prior to your scheduling.

About: I’ve been a dog owner and lover since growing up on a farm in KS. I’ve had several fur babies that have brought me great joy. My sweet Foxy, a small mix breed crossed over the rainbow bridge this year and I want to take the space and time I have now to love your dog. I will care for them like they are my own. I’m a writer and work full time from home. I take several walks a day around small blocks and this is great if you like your dog walked too. I am with your dog all hours of the day and evening. I have a secure patio and a dog park in building. I love to walk the dogs around the block. I allow them to be on my furniture and bed if they are clean.
