“I was so thankful that Jim was able to accommodate my last minute boarding request! He was so nice to send pics of her stay. Also, it was great knowing my puppy had another dog to play with and a yard to run around. Would highly recommend Jim!”

“Rachael was super nice and very responsive. Great fenced backyard oasis for my dog pepper. Also a cute neighborhood for walks. Pepper was so excited and happy when we picked her up! Will definitely work with Rachael again!!!”

“My dogs had the best time and were well taken care of! So thankful that she was able to keep my pups while I was gone! Would recommend Amanda to anyone that needs a sitter while out of town! Will definitely be using her again!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A million stars if we could give them! Michelle and Bryce are the kind of people you dream about finding on Rover but never think you actually will. They cared for our dog, Ladybird, and our cat, Frida, for five whole months while we moved across the country. That alone deserves a standing ovation. But what really blew us away was how they did it. We hadn’t even arrived in our new city when they met our pets at the airport—like long-lost family—then brought them straight into their home. From day one, Ladybird and Frida were treated like their own children, lavished with love, attention, and the kind of kindness you can’t fake. I got photo updates all the time (the kind that make you grin and maybe tear up a little), and not once—not once—did I worry. It was as if our pets had been adopted by the best neighbors you could imagine, except with way more snuggles. Honestly, if you’re anywhere near Nashville and come across Michelle and Bryce’s profile, it should be a crime not to book them. Whether you’re gone for a weekend or months like we were, you will not find better hearts, better care, or better people. Michelle and Bryce, thank you for loving Ladybird and Frida like they were your own. You made an overwhelming life transition so much lighter, and we’ll be forever grateful. BOOK WITH MICHELLE AND BRYCE!! The best the best the best!”

“Huri was absolutely amazing with my little Nelly! She made sure that Nelly was well socialized, active, and loved. I also got some lovely picture updates on Nelly during her stay.”

“Janelle is great with Cody. We got daily updates of their walks and adventures. I feel very comfortable with him staying there and plan to use Janelle regularly!”

“I cant’t say enough wonderful things about Sherri and the care she provided our Goldendoodle, Reese! Reese felt comfortable with her immediately and it was apparent when we picked her up that she had the best time. The daily updates with pictures and videos detailing her adventures made us feel incredibly at ease while we were away. Reese has certainly found her new home away from home! 💜”

“Stephanie was such an amazing find. Our dogs instantly loved her and she did a wonderful job caring for them. We highly recommend her and will be using her again and again!”

“Chase had such a great time staying with Ritch and his family. He had so much fun playing ball, going on walks and exploring the backyard! We loved getting pictures of him during his stay too! Chase will definitely be back next time we travel!”

“Alexis was great! She is very laid back and was totally reassuring, since we were nervous, first time puppy parents. Our 4 month old golden retriever had the best time! I think he even learned crate training from Alexis and Finn! I see why they're always booked - great experience! ”

“Ashley is great with my dog! We have had Ashley watch our pup twice now, and I feel great about her care! She had good communication and has accommodated our dog's medicine needs.”

“I was only gone for a two day trip, but Smokey had fun, Christopher took great care of Smokey. He has a dog named emile who is sweet and an understanding dog. He also had another dog come by for a sitting and Smokey had fun with him/her as well! I have already booked another boarding with him and fully trust him to take care of my fur baby. A good man and has extensive experience with many breeds!”

“We don’t have enough words to measure the quality of Roy’s professionalism, responsiveness, and caring of our dog during our most recent trip. The level of attentiveness and treatment exceeded our expectations immensely. I would recommend Roy 100/100 times! We look forward to have Kira stay with them again in the future.”

About: What sets me apart is over 25 years of experience caring for my own cats and others, ensuring I understand their needs intimately. I'm skilled at administering medications and take pride in maintaining a clean and fresh environment, so your cat can feel comfortable and loved while you’re away.

About: I have had several cats over the past 20 years. One of them, Teacup, required significant medical attention, wasn't supposed to live long, but lived to age 14. I administered oral medications and fed her for many years by hand. I've scooped a lot of cat litter.

“Donna took wonderful care of my cat when I was gone for a week. She house-sat and everything was perfect when I got back! Very communicative and made sure my cat had plenty of company!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of them through every age, from puppy to senior. I am experienced with senior dogs and understand their special needs and more than happy to help how I can. I work from home, so I’m always with your dog when I have them over. This also allows me to be flexible for potty breaks and walks. I am also able to visit them in your home if needed during lunch hours or any time after 4pm. Weekends I am completely free. Any pets at my place are free to roam as they please. They can even lay on my bed if that’s cozy for them. I do not have a yard, but my apartments do have an area outside for me to take them on potty breaks. Very receptive to any instructions you may have.

About: I have been providing dog walking and pet-sitting services for friends and neighbors since I was 13 years old. In addition to caring for pets in my community, I regularly take full responsibility for my family's two dogs whenever my parents are out of town. As an elementary school teacher, I am highly responsible, dependable, and attentive to individual needs. My profession requires patience, organization, and constant awareness of safety, qualities that I bring to pet care as well. Pet owners can trust that I will treat their pets with the same level of care, attention, and compassion that I bring to my students every day. Pet care fits easily into my routine. As an elementary school teacher, I have summers off and a flexible schedule. I'm also a part-time online master's student, which allows me to be available for afternoon visits anytime after noon. I provide reliable check-ins, walks, feeding, and attentive care for every pet. I follow each pet's regular routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. Whether in my home or a client's home, I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I also make sure pets are safe, supervised, and cared for according to any specific instructions provided by their owner.
About: I always wanted a dog growing up, and before our family got our own, I would walk, play with, and take care of neighbors’ dogs, and it only made me love them more! I’ve also cared for roommates’ dogs and cats, and have experience with some of the less-fun things like giving pills and medications when necessary. I do work a standard job from 9 to 5, so I would be available to petsit, check-in, or walk on evenings and weekends. If the location works out, I could do check-ins on the lunch hour as well! While I’m not able to have pets over to my home, I am very respectful of others’ homes and spaces, and I recognize the importance of routine in pet care, so I do my best to keep pets happy and healthy and give them the attention they need when you’re not able to!

I will communicate with you as much or as little as you would like, to take the ease of being away from your loved one more comfortable. I work full time Monday-Thursday 8-5. I can come home at lunch time for a quick potty and walk break. Weekends I’m flexible and can work around your schedule. I will follow any feeding/water schedule that you have in place. Your pet will be well taken care of! Any instructions you have, I will follow.
About: I’m a long term pet owner, of two medium-large dogs and I’m looking to save up some extra cash before moving for graduate school. I’m comfortable handling dogs of any size and age. While not a certified trainer, I have trained my family’s dogs to walk better on the leash. I have a strong preference for dogs, but I’m happy to take care of cats as well. I just finished undergrad, and am working over the summer before moving overseas. At the moment, Rover is my only job, so your pet will be my priority. I can’t bring your dog to my home, but while taking care of your pet at your home, I will my best to ensure your pet’s routine is kept as similar as possible while you’re away.

“Levirina is hands down the best sitter we’ve found on Rover. Our dog Ted is super picky and isn’t the biggest fan of most people but Levirina did a tremendous job with Ted and he didn’t want to come home!”

“We are very selective about leaving our little boy with anyone. But, we immediately felt comfortable with Megan and Kerry. They were great and Mokee had a good time. After we're away from him, he normally goes wild to see us again. This time he was "ho hum, you're back." Oddly, that makes me happy! 😂”

About: Lauren and I have cared for dogs, as pets, since we were kids. We have a 19-pound mini poodle who loves play time. We welcome good tempered dogs to play with him in our fenced-in back yard and for chill-time on the couch. We’re at work at home family so have no problem giving proper attention to our pet guests. We take daily walks and are happy to include your pooch! Fenced back yard with kitchen exit for easy and frequent potty and playtime breaks. Our Downstairs is full of toys to keep your pup entertained.
“Jodi and Marc have taken FABULOUS care of our golden doodle, Moose! He loves the farm and loves playing with all the other dogs! He loves the freedom to run and play while also having the comfort of a warm bed at night. He always comes home tired and happy. I have such peace of mind leaving Moose with Jodi and Marc because I know he will be taken care of as if he were their own! Thank you so much!!!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I love dogs of all sizes. We have two black labs and a shepherd mix. We also have a cat and several aquatic creatures. I’m currently working part time from home and have plenty of free time to care for your pets. My schedule is fairly flexible and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I’m very detail-oriented and happy to follow your instructions for the best care for your pets. I love walking so happy to do neighborhood walks or hit the local hiking trails or dog parks.
“Megan was so friendly! She was confident with my nervous dog and let me know as soon as she was settled! I didn’t worry about Penny at all and will not hesitate to use Megan again.”

“Jonathan is amazing! He watched our two energetic 8 month old pups during the daytime for two days in a row and was wonderful! The pups had a great time exploring his large backyard, getting loved on inside, and receiving a structured walk each day. Jonathan handled our worries with ease and sent many video updates throughout the day which made me very happy. Jonathan also has a training background and is very knowledgeable and helpful being our pups are young and still learning a lot. Our pups came home happy and fulfilled. We look forward to using Jonathan more in the future.”

About: I've taken care of many different types of animals since I was 10 years old. I have recently watched my neighbors dogs for weeks on end. I have a great joy for animals and feel they bring me as much if not more joy than I might them. I'm about to be on summer break, so I will have flexibility to drop in whenever needed to take care your pet. I'm an early riser so I can always take them out early as desired. I am very dependable and consistent in taking care of your pets needs. I have a wonderful hiking area behind my house I'd be willing to take your pet to if needed. I love to stay active so taking your pets on a walk is enjoyable to me. I will also have my daughters on occasion during the summer and they will gladly love on your pets as well :)
“Roy was great with Fugee. My pup is pretty shy and anxious when meeting new folks but she took to Roy as soon as I opened the car door. He sent pictures throughout the day as well as updates. Roy was very responsive prior to Fugee’s daycare date. When I came to pick her up after work she was very relaxed. I’d recommend him to anyone!”

About: Dogs and cats are the center of my world! I have over 11 years of paid and volunteered hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, including my own animals and those I’ve fostered through rescue organizations. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life but over the past 11 years I have volunteered at various animal shelters and provided the services offered on Rover through word-of-mouth and other platforms/websites! I have experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages—from newborns to seniors—and pets with medical conditions, special needs, and behavioral challenges. I also have experience with birds, rabbits, and some reptiles. My family owns a farm so I have experience providing care for farm animals as well! What sets me apart is my ability to quickly assess and adapt to each pet’s unique personality and requirements. I’m especially patient and attentive with nervous or reactive animals, and I’m experienced in administering medications, maintaining structured routines, and creating calm, secure environments for animals in transition. AND I just might take the cutest/funniest candid photos of your pet that you’ve ever seen. Check out my photo gallery of cute fur babies I’ve loved on! Fostering has also given me valuable experience with socialization, basic training, post-surgery care, and working with pets recovering from trauma or neglect. I genuinely love building trust with animals and helping them feel safe, which is something pet owners consistently appreciate when they leave their companions in my care. IMPORTANT NOTES: *Per request, and with Rover’s support, I have created an additional fees menu. Additional fees allow me to serve a larger population of clients and provide more specialized services (e.g. long distance, around the clock housesitting, 90-120 min walks or drop-ins). Long distance fee- +$20 per visit for 15-24 miles away and +$35 per visit if 25-35 miles away (this will differ if the booking is housesitting) 90 min visit- +$16 2 hour visit- +$30 24/7 house sitting (I will only leave your pet in the event of a personal emergency)- x2 the booking cost of traditional house sitting; for traditional house sitting we will discuss a plan that you’re comfortable with for how often I will leave your pet(s), and how long they will be left alone. **Meet and greets strongly suggested/required in some cases if: A) You have a pet with extreme anxiety, behavioral issues, or unknown reactions to being left in the care of a new person. B) You live in an apartment complex—mainly if you’ve been told your complex is difficult to navigate. I want your pet to have all of their first visit spent with me there. If I have a commitment that would prevent me from being able to spend extra time with them, I won’t be able to give them a whole 30 min (or hour if that’s what you are booking) if I’m unable to locate your apartment. C) You have particularly unique preferences for your pet’s care. I love detailed instructions, actually I prefer this. I would love to get a feel for and see what this will look like during the meet and greet though. ***as of 2/20/26 I will have moved from Franklin, TN 37069 to Nashville, TN 37215. Availability to repeat clients (without an additional distance fee) is contingent on driving time to your location. **** if you find any part of the booking is not meeting your standards/expectations, please communicate this to me so I can adjust the issue or potentially request a refund via customer support for that visit. I strive to individualize care to match the needs of every client. Furthermore, I want my clients to always feel heard and supported. *****Boarding and day care information if you have a medium to giant size dog, pets who don’t react well to cats, and/or you prefer a yard and large quantities of exercise during the booking: My family owns a large property and farm about 10 minutes from my apartment. I am able to stay there in their guest house with your pets rather than board them at my apartment. This is honestly preferable for any large dog/dogs who become activated around other dogs, mainly because my complex is heavily populated by dog owners and we would encounter other dogs each time we go outside. I can still board larger and/or reactive dogs, dogs who don’t mix well with cats, and dogs requiring extra exercise. ____________ More about me (if you’re curious): -Outside of pet care I am a licensed social worker (non-practicing at the moment) and a part time esthetician student. My social work career mostly includes providing individual or group mental health therapy, and case management for individuals experiencing homelessness, previously incarcerated, and/or with mental health and substance use disorders. As you can probably imagine, shifting towards Rover and esthetician school has been a major change! -During my free time I love working out—Pilates, barre, & running/walking. I’m relatively athletic so I can provide exercise tailored to each pet’s needs. With pets whose owners would prefer more exercise, I am able to provide more fast paced exercise, such as speed walking or jogging. And you’ll never have to worry if your dog happens to be a larger dog and/or pulls on the leash. Still haven’t met a dog I haven’t been able to walk! -I’m very big on volunteer work since I am not currently practicing social work. I have a very nurturing side, and while I’m so excited to become an esthetician, I would love to still be engaged in service of others. Right now I am developing an outline for a “pay what you can” farm-to-table service using the products of my family’s farm. Also in progress is an incorporation of my skincare, beauty, and wellness services into a larger ministry that serves survivors of trafficking, addiction, and/or DV. -During my free time I also enjoy binging thrillers and crime dramas during my free time. I’ve been getting into true crime podcasts. So yes, I’ll most likely be listening to Dateline while driving to our meet and greet at your house when I’ve never met you before. As if I need to be any more nervous about that part of this job! Happy to do it though. I love this job. But if you do happen to want to meet at a dog park or coffee place, I won’t object! - I’m a Nashville native and the oldest of four kids in my family. I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert. I enjoy my alone time and being home as much as possible. But if you bring me around social situations, I could talk to just about anyone about anything. - I have a baby kitten, older kitten who is almost an adult, and a senior kitty that live with me full time. I have a senior (family) dog that lives with me a few months out of the year when my parents snowbird in Florida. I commute to a night school M-Th 5:30pm-10pm and work another job remotely. Rover is my main obligation outside of school and I prioritize my rover bookings over most things. Alongside client satisfaction, self-care is imperative to me. While I am finishing school over the next few months, I typically will not accept early morning bookings unless there is flexibility with the times. However, I am able to offer late night visits on days off from school due to my routine sleep schedule. Quite a few of my repeat clients work night shifts and I’ve provided care for their pets between 11pm-4am. I try to avoid committing to any visits between 5am-10am so that I can keep a consistent sleep schedule, and be punctual for you! When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, including dietary needs, medications, walking preferences, and any behavioral considerations. I have gained a good amount of experience over the last few years in the area of taking care of senior pets and pre-adoption pets. My pup, Pasco, is currently receiving medications and palliative care, so I have personally experience in this area. Before adopting my kitten, Ocean, I recently fostered three pre-adopted kittens that needed bottle-feeding and gentle help with passing stool. I make sure the home environment is pet-proofed—keeping hazards like wires, cleaning products, and choking risks out of reach. I also monitor pets closely for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and will notify the owner immediately if anything seems off. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is equally important. I take time to get to know each animal’s temperament, routines, and comfort zones so they feel safe and secure in my presence. Whether in my home or theirs, I maintain a calm, structured environment, offer plenty of positive attention, and create a consistent routine that pets can rely on. Regarding trust and safety, as a sitter I also request that you disclose any video and/or audio surveillance inside your home before officially booking with me. It goes against Rover’s guidelines (and federal law) to not disclose indoor surveillance. In today’s world, 90% of clients I work with have some form of video surveillance. As an owner myself who also hires Rover sitters to care for my pets, I understand completely and have never not booked with a client due to disclosed video surveillance. For in-home services, I’m respectful of the client’s space—leaving things clean and secure, and keeping communication open with daily updates, photos, and check-ins so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.

About: Hi I’m Josie! I have grown up with dogs to love and take care of as well as spent time volunteering in shelters working with dogs from super energetic to very timid. I currently volunteer to take shelter dogs out for the day to walk and socialize! I'm a cuddler and can't wait to love on your pet with belly rubs and back scratches.
About: I’ve been fostering and owning dogs for my whole entire life. I’ve been taking care of dogs of all ages and sizes since I was young. I take care of my own pets every single day. I feed them, play with them, and make sure they have everything they might need. I know how to deal with and take care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I also know how to play with them often.
About: I care for pets the same way I care for my own family, with patience, reliability, and real affection. I pay close attention to the details that matter to each pet such as favorite toys, routines, quirks, energy levels, or comfort needs. I am especially good with puppies who need extra guidance and consistency and with senior pets who benefit from a slower pace and a gentle touch. I make it a priority to communicate with you often so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel at ease while you are away. What truly sets me apart is the combination of responsibility and genuine love behind everything I do which helps pets feel comfortable, understood, and cared for every moment they are with me. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already build my days around structure and responsibility as a Lipscomb student. My class schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for regular walks, feeding times, play breaks, and check ins. I enjoy starting my mornings with movement, so taking pets out early fits perfectly. I also have long breaks between classes which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. On weekends I am even more available, so I can focus fully on longer walks, outings, and extra attention. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so it feels like a natural and fulfilling part of my everyday routine. I live in an apartment that is clean, comfortable, and set up to be a safe space for pets. When caring for pets in my home I follow whatever routines they are used to, keep their environment calm, and make sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I am mindful of their comfort and always keep their feeding, crate, and potty schedules consistent with what they know. When I am caring for pets in a client’s home I make sure to respect their space and follow their established routines exactly. I keep everything clean, stick to the instructions you provide, and give your pet the same level of love and attention they would get if you were home. Whether I am in my own apartment or in your home my focus is always on making your pet feel safe, happy, and cared for.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I’ve been taking care of mine and pet sitting for people all over the neighborhood. I love taking dogs on long walks. I’m available to walk dogs through the weekdays. I don’t do any type of boarding. I love to play with the puppies/ dogs as well. I would take them on a walk from the clients home and then I would put them back because I only offer dog walking services
About: From a young age, I was always surrounded by animals. Whether it was being on my grandparent's or friend's farm or being at home with my own dogs and cats. Throughout high school I loved volunteering at the animal shelter and just being able to give animals the attention they both need and deserve. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply giving them lots of attention, I ensure every pet gets personalized care and love. I understand the importance of keeping your furry family member safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away! I recently graduated from university and work as a barista with flexible 6-hour shifts. This gives me plenty of free time to dedicate to caring for your pet with all the attention and love they deserve! I stick to your pet’s routine with regular feeding, walks, and playtime, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved. I provide personalized care, keeping your home safe and tidy, and send regular updates to keep you informed while you're away.

“Rachael was super nice and very responsive. Great fenced backyard oasis for my dog pepper. Also a cute neighborhood for walks. Pepper was so excited and happy when we picked her up! Will definitely work with Rachael again!!!”

“I had Pluto stay for 6 nights, and this was my first time on a trip without Pluto, but Madeline was very accommodating and made sure that he got the love he needs! I had no worries during my trip that he was getting good quality time. She sent pictures and updates daily. Would definitely recommend her to others and would be happy to have him stay again!”

“Janelle is great with Cody. We got daily updates of their walks and adventures. I feel very comfortable with him staying there and plan to use Janelle regularly!”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. My dog was sick and Karissa kept me updated several times a day and she even cooked chicken with eggs and rice to help settle his stomach. I had absolute confidence that he was in good hands.”

“Thank you so much for taking such exceptional care of Jeter while I was away. Your regular updates, photos, and attention to detail meant the world to me and gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Jeter was in great hands and felt completely at ease with you. Your care and professionalism went above and beyond, and I can’t thank you enough. I’m so grateful to have found someone so reliable and kind. Jeter and I both look forward to seeing you again soon!”

“I wanted to rate Renee as a 1 so that I could have her for anytime my Boston needed a loving home while I travel. Renee was great, I'm pretty sure the moment we walked in the door, Gracie felt right at home.”
“Marisa was super nice working with us. We had a snow and ice storm the day before we left. She made arrangements for us so we didn’t miss our trip. Coco did well with her.”

“Caroline took great care of my dog! She sent pictures and checked in every morning, and took her for good walks each day. I would definitely recommend her and work with her again!”

“Jonathan was great with our Vizsla. He seemed to understand his personality right away and kept us updated while we were away. Even though almost 3 years old, our dog has never been boarded so we were all a little nervous. Jonathan put our minds at ease and kept our dog busy with walks and other activities to help him feel comfortable. We highly recommend Jonathan!”
