That is indeed super convenient, but as anyone reading this already knows, convenience is hardly the number one factor in choosing a dog sitter. The most important reason for recommending Levirina is her handling of Penny Lane, our sweet and somewhat anxious Doxie. Penny suffers from separation anxiety, a challenge that’s been exasperated by the lack of socialization during quarantine. Though she’s struggled with other sitters, we are absolutely thrilled to report that Levirina is basically her new BFF. This woman is like the fairy godmother to nervous shorties like Penny (and her parents). When we arrived Penny waltzed right into L’s house like she was visiting old friends. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of them through every age, from puppy to senior. I am experienced with senior dogs and understand their special needs and more than happy to help how I can. I work from home, so I’m always with your dog when I have them over. This also allows me to be flexible for potty breaks and walks. I am also able to visit them in your home if needed during lunch hours or any time after 4pm. Weekends I am completely free. Any pets at my place are free to roam as they please. They can even lay on my bed if that’s cozy for them. I do not have a yard, but my apartments do have an area outside for me to take them on potty breaks. Very receptive to any instructions you may have.

I love spending plenty of time with my pets so I will spend just as much, if not more, with yours to make them feel at home and ensure they are happy and loved while you are gone! In my home, I have the sweetest chocolate lab who is crate trained (and neutered) and can be separated if needed but otherwise your dog will have free roam! I can rotate who is out and who is up if that is something you would want! Dogs will sleep in their crates (unless they are used to sleeping out at night) for peace of mind and to keep them used to their routines! We have a large fenced yard so there is plenty of time for your dog to get all their energy out! In your home, I will do whatever is asked of me!

But if you do happen to want to meet at a dog park or coffee place, I won’t object! - I’m a Nashville native and the oldest of four kids in my family. I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert. I enjoy my alone time and being home as much as possible. But if you bring me around social situations, I could talk to just about anyone about anything. - I have a kitten, young adult kitty, and a senior cat living with me full time. I have a senior (family) dog living with me only a few months out of the year when my parents snowbird in Florida. However, due to his recent decline in health/mobility, he most likely won’t be living with me in Winter 2026, unfortunately. Until I graduate the first week of October, I will be commuting to a night school M-Th 5:30pm-10pm. I work another job remotely and set my own schedule, which doesn’t impact my Rover bookings much. I typically know my schedule 1-3 weeks out, so scheduling conflicts are adjustable if I’m already available for the majority of the booking. Last minute bookings are typically contingent on your flexibility with the visit times and/or my being available without having to cancel appointments, or compromise the quality of another pre-existing booking. With that being said, I do accept last minute bookings when able, at no extra charge. I’m happy to chat and try to come up with a game plan that works for everyone! Rover is my main obligation outside of school, apart from occasional appointments here and there. Being available, flexible, and dependable for my rover bookings is extremely important to me! Alongside client satisfaction, self-care is imperative to me. While I am finishing school over the next couple months, I typically will not accept early morning bookings unless there is flexibility with the times. However, I am able to offer late night visits on days off from school due to my routine sleep schedule. Quite a few of my repeat clients work night shifts and I’ve provided care for their pets between 11pm-4am. I try to avoid committing to any visits after 4am and before 10am so that I can keep a consistent sleep schedule, and be punctual for you! When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, including dietary needs, medications, walking preferences, and any behavioral considerations. I have gained a good amount of experience over the last few years in the area of taking care of senior pets and pre-adoption pets. My pup, Pasco, is currently receiving medications and palliative care, so I have personally experience in this area. Before adopting my kitten, Ocean, I recently fostered three pre-adopted kittens that needed bottle-feeding and gentle help with passing stool. I make sure the home environment is pet-proofed—keeping hazards like wires, cleaning products, and choking risks out of reach. I also monitor pets closely for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and will notify the owner immediately if anything seems off. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is equally important. I take time to get to know each animal’s temperament, routines, and comfort zones so they feel safe and secure in my presence. Whether in my home or theirs, I maintain a calm, structured environment, offer plenty of positive attention, and create a consistent routine that pets can rely on. Regarding trust and safety, as a sitter I also request that you disclose any video and/or audio surveillance inside your home before officially booking with me. It goes against Rover’s guidelines (and federal law) to not disclose indoor surveillance. I recognize that it is part of today’s culture to have at least some form of video surveillance on one’s property. 90% of clients I work with have some form of video surveillance. As an owner myself, who also hires Rover sitters to care for my pets, I understand there’s an element of trust that has not yet been built, in addition to the general security concerns associated with being out of town. I am not against video surveillance and wouldn’t turn away a client for having a couple cameras. However, excessive surveillance throughout the inside of your home is not something I’m comfortable with, personally. I have no doubt you’ll find someone who doesn’t mind, but I am not that person. For in-home services, I’m respectful of the client’s space—leaving things clean and secure, and keeping communication open with daily updates, photos, and check-ins so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve had my own pets for 34 years while also fostering for local rescues. I loved each as they were my children. My last 3 lived together and lived to be 16, 16 and 14. As they aged, they all needed special care. I am without pets at this time because I lost my last senior in April 2025 so I have lots of love to give. Life isn’t the same without fur in it and I would love to care for yours by sharing cuddles, kisses, playtime, walks, and whatever else is requested to make your fur child happy. I understand the stress in leaving a pet so rest assure, they will receive the best care and you will be kept up to date as you wish. I am home days and nights and make my own schedule. I am happy to work with your schedule to accommodate. Please don’t hesitate to ask! I have a 6’ fenced backyard but I always stay outside with them while they are out. I live in a 1 story home so no stairs to worry with (just 1 step off the outside back porch). I do have a large crate I am happy to set up if your dog prefers a crate but your dog is welcome to sleep where you know they will be most happy, including my bed. I can walk, feed, potty and administer medications to dogs. I can play with and feed kitties, but have less experience with cats that need medications. I currently have a 6 year old beagle mix who has a very high maintenance personality. He has a meal and potty routine that would be hard to manage if I did not work from home. I am fortunate that my job allows me the flexibility to care for my dog, and also allows me the time to help you out with your pets who may need to be cared for while you’re away from home. When caring for your pets, I will follow the instructions given to me and will take the time to make sure your pets are properly cared for.

About: Hi, my name is Sophia! I’m a proud owner of a 11 year old Jack Russel/Staffy mix named Liam! He’s typically shy with other dogs at first but opens up after a good few sniffs. I also have two cats named Emilio and Antonio. They want to be friends with Liam so badly but he hilariously ignores their affections. I have enjoyed working with animals most of my life and I’m experienced with dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and snakes. Having worked at a veterinary clinic all through high school, I then volunteered at the local animal shelter throughout college. About: Growing up in an animal loving family, animals have always been a major part of my life! I have always known a life where cats and dogs are apart of it, and are expected to be treated with love and respect. About: I grew up having dogs and adopted my first dog on my own in college, Kehlani- she is now 10! I’ve learned how to juggle 2 now the she has a 5 yr old brother, Niko. They are absolutely my children so I treat them as such and will extend the love to your furry kids too! I currently work full time, but a hybrid schedule so I am home all day except for Wednesdays & Thursdays. My lunch breaks can vary, and am always available after 4:30 during the weekdays for drop ins. I have a fully private fenced in yard, along with 2 super sweet pups that love making new friends.
