About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always had a natural love for caring for them. I have previous experience pet sitting and caring for animals, and I’m comfortable adapting to different pets, personalities, routines, and energy levels! I have an eight-year-old Miniature Schnauzer named Axl, who is my whole world, so I understand how much pets mean to their families. I’m patient, attentive, and very observant when it comes to noticing what a pet needs, whether they want to play, go for a walk, relax, or just have some company. I also can adjust to whatever makes you feel most comfortable! I have a very flexible schedule, and reliable transportation which allows me to give pets plenty of attention rather than simply stopping by and rushing off. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away:) Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine because I have a very flexible schedule! I’m able to dedicate plenty of time to walks, drop-in visits, dog park stops, and pet sitting throughout the week, and I can work around each pet’s individual routine. I’m happy to keep up with their normal feeding, walking, playtime, and rest schedules so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible while their owners are away. I also enjoy spending extra time with pets rather than treating visits like a quick tasks, it’s my favorite part of my day!😁 I have a fully fenced backyard and my dog, Axl, who is very social, calm, and gets along well with other dogs! He regularly goes on walks and to the dog park, so he’s used to having other pets around. My home has plenty of supervision, and pets won’t be left alone for long periods of time. About: Cats and dogs love me and I love them! On top of that, I've taken care of a number of family friends' pets (dogs and cats mostly) while they were away for various lengths of time from days to weeks. That care included feeding, walking, bedding down for the night, housesitting, cleaning litter boxes, and so on. I'm working on becoming a published author and I can write anywhere. That gives me a lot of flexibility. Have laptop, will travel. What more can I say? Razan has been amazing with my girl. She helped me out by watching her for a weekend, but has become one of my go-to let out people during my long work days. She’s always sure to send pictures and videos as well as updates on how Cal is doing. In addition, my senior lady has some anxiety (especially after some recent moves) and tends to get into things. After she knocked over my trash can and spread the contents throughout the house, Razan happily cleaned it up for me as I was still stuck at work for the next few hours. Happy to have her helping us out and providing care for my girl while I’m away on trips or long work days.
Laynee did an amazing job with our 2 skittish and independent cats. She was able to connect and gain their trust after only 2 days, very unusual as they are hardly ever seen by strangers, and to see them asking for and getting tons of loves for the rest of the time was heartwarming. We have now added, ‘make sure Laynee is available for cat care’ to our list of to-do’s before any trip. Thanks again Laynee!!!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
