I currently work outside the home full-time M-F with a lunch break at 1200 where I come home and walk my 12 year old dog. I have a fenced yard, a 12 year old Yorkie, and plenty of places for your pup to explore on walks. Your pup will be cared for as a member of the family.

About: As a passionate animal advocate, I've had the privilege of serving as the Foster Care Coordinator at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society for 1 year, while also volunteering with shelters throughout my adult life. Additionally, I'm a Certified Veterinarian Assistant, and my life's journey has been enriched by sharing it with diverse animals, from beloved domestic pets like dogs and cats, to hospice and senior animals. I'm committed to providing your cherished pets with the same love, care, and compassion that I've devoted to my own. I am thrilled to be available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. If you have a special request for different hours, I invite you to share your needs and I will eagerly discuss and arrange a solution that works for you. I will nurture your fur babies with the same love and devotion I would shower upon my own precious little ones. With my extensive shelter experience, I have been blessed to work with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, temperaments and life stages. About: I’ve always loved animals, I have a 3 year old Australian Shepherd and he is my whole world. I will treat your fur baby with the love, care, and attention that I show my own fur baby. When I’m watching your pet, they will be safe, happy, and have the best time! I currently work full time, but I am available late evenings on week days and all day on most weekends. I am always happy to be flexible with my schedule. I live in an apartment so my dog gets plenty of walks, outdoor time, mental, and physical stimulation throughout the day. I provide a calming, safe environment in my home for my pup, and I bring that same calm and caring energy to every animal I meet.

About: Hello, my name is Kathy and I offer overnight boarding, day care, and walking for mellow and senior dogs and I specialize in caring for cats and kittens. I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm able to set my own hours for the most part and can be available over lunch as well as before and after work. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.

About: I've loved animals since I was a kid and have cared for many throughout my life! I was tasked with raising my family dog since she was a puppy when I was in high school, and I helped my college roommate with her puppy! I have walked/boarded many dogs and cats since moving to Virginia! Being in the military, my coworkers travel a lot so I have become the workplace's go-to "pet auntie." I genuinely love to spoil pets and providing them with a safe and homey environment while their loved ones are out! I have a fairly flexible work schedule so I can come back to my home or to your home to take care of your pet! Early morning, lunch, and evenings are especially free, so I can work around that depending on your needs. I do not own pets, so they will be here as a single child in the case they are boarded! Crates, food, litter boxes, etc will need to be provided as I don't own those things. I have access to many parks around my neighborhood, so walkability is not an issue!

About: We had to put our Max to sleep on 6/17/18. I would love to watch your dog as our house feels so empty. We are dog lovers, our Max is a15 year old Lab Golden mix that we rescued when he was around one, He gets along well with other dogs. Your dog will be taken care of as if he wrere our dog. With 5 people ages 16 and over in our household your dog will get plenty of love and attention. I go home for lunch everyday to let my dog out, I have a college student home most of the days. We have dog sat for many of our friends and family. We live in a quiet neighborhood that is great for dog walking. We would be happy for you to come over pryor for a meet and greet with our four legged house guest.

About: I have 8 years of experience working with and caring for cats and dogs! I have no problem taking care of pets of any size or temperament! I even have some experience caring for small animals like rabbits and ferrets! I love all animals and I have been around them my whole life. About: I am a 25 year old student studying marine ecology. I consider myself more of a puppy-person than a people-person. I have two dogs of my own, both of which are sort of seniors. I am a very patient person when it comes to animals, and I have been caring for a variety of animals since I was young (they used to call my house The Zoo House) I am a full time student but with plenty of time in the evening to care for pets, and taking breaks from the books to walk or run with your dog, bring it to the park, or play with your dog so that your dog goes home tired and happy would be a perfect way to stretch my legs between study sessions. Although I do not have a yard, I am able to make frequent and lengthy walks.

Since her death I’ve decided to open my home to taking care of others pets because I’ve experienced the struggle with finding quality pet care. You can count on me to treat your pet like my own. I have a 12 year old son, that also love animals, so between the two of us your pet will get plenty of love and attention. Your pet will be allowed to go anywhere in the house they choose, but I do not allow them on the furniture. Your pet will sleep inside of the home.

About: With my 3+ year of ongoing experience in the veterinary field I prioritize always being a helping hand in anyway that I can while supporting your fur baby. Taking care of animals is more than a task, but also an enjoyable experience for me! About: I have had a love for animals my whole life! Throughout my summers in high school I volunteered at GMHS as a way to give my time back to the community. I now have a 3 year old Jack Russell/Beagle mix named Nova, and we do everything together. I also have 2 cats Jake & Bailey, and a Leopard Gecko named Leia. I do work full time M-F, however I dedicate my weekends to spending time taking Nova on longer walks and having extended play time, and she loves having guest! I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I usually take Nova out to parks often, and out for play time in our back yard. She is very welcoming to guest and loves having someone to play with. If you are comfortable Nova and I would love to have guest join our walks and play times!

About: Ever since I was a child I have loved animals of every kind. I would love to care for your fur babies whether it’s overnight or just for a stroll. I am currently only working a few hrs. per week as I have made the decision to be home with my family more. Pet sitting would work perfectly for me. I’m available anytime that’s needed!
