“Dmitra is the best!!! She walks our goldendoodle Griffin twice a week and is really amazing with him! Because of our schedules I usually have to tell her only a day or two in advance which days we need her help each week and she’s always really flexible and great about it! We also have cats that like to try to sneak out of the house, and she’s great about keeping an eye on them to make sure they stay in while she takes Griffin out for his walks. So glad we found her!!!”

“Working with Jordan was great and highly recommend her. It was great to know my pup was in good hands and good company. I look forward to working with her in the future!”

“Emily is lovely to work with. Our puppy started spinning in circles the first time they met! She is very communicative about their walks, which is very much appreciated.”

“Alex was great! I introduced him to both of my dogs, and I think they senses his calm, chill vibe and were into it. I am planning to reach back out to him in the coming weeks for walking and house sitting.”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals — starting with playful puppies and large-breed dogs. As a lifelong pet owner myself, I understand the deep bond between pets and their families. I've raised both big and small dogs and supported friends, neighbors, and clients by providing loving, reliable care for their animals when they couldn’t be there. I’m also comfortable and experienced around children and elderly individuals, which allows me to provide a calm, respectful, and compassionate presence in any home. My goal is to make sure both you and your pets feel at ease, knowing they're in capable and caring hands. I’m available to care for your pets during regular workday hours, with occasional evening and weekend availability as well. Whether you need a midday check-in, a weekday companion, or occasional support outside the 9–5, I’m here to help keep your pets happy and comfortable while you're away. I understand how important your pet’s safety is, especially when someone else is entering your home. That’s why I take extra care during every visit — making sure doors and gates are securely closed, checking surroundings before entering or exiting, and always keeping your pet's safety and comfort as my top priority. I know how stressful it can be to trust someone with your space and your pet, and I treat both with the respect, attention, and care they deserve.

About: I have had both dogs and cats my entire life and even had a ferret at one point. I am a dog walker and cat and dog sitter (or cat walker if you would like!). Some of my current clients have been with me for 5 years. I also volunteer at a local shelter. I can drop in after 3 on most days since I am a student and weekends I am more flexible so I can work around your needs. I have a closed yard for my German Shepard and my cat is strictly an indoor cat. We use a mixture of dry and wet food for both animals and have frequent potty breaks for the dog.

“Ann has been walking Hank for the past month. She has been so dependable and conscientious. Hank is sweet but he can be obstinate about walking. Ann has gone above and beyond to work with him and help him trust her. Hank loves her!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 9 years old, our house was always the go-to sitters for the neighborhood. I love and care for all animals as if they were my own. From walks to feeding to bath time, I have experience in all areas of pet care. I am currently a full time student in college although I do spend weekends at home. I have no job at the moment and wanted to explore my passion for animals this summer and plan to continue throughout the school year. I have two dogs of my own and two cats at my house so I have experience in different types of pets. We have raised our dogs since pups and trained them so I have experience in all age ranges. I am willing and able to follow the instructions given by the pet parent to care for their pet as best I can.

“Tony was wonderful with Piper. She takes some time to warm up but he was patient with her. Tony is a natural dog whisperer and was able to go on a great walk with her. Looking forward to working with Tony in the future!”

“Ashley was a dog whisperer! She walked my recently adopted adult dog with a traumatic past. Ashley never imposed on my dog’s space and spent time each day making my dog feel safe. By day 3, my dog was greeting her at door and happily walking with confidence. I am so grateful for Ashley and her kind and patient energy. I highly recommend you book her services if you want peace of mind that your dog is being treated with respect by a mindful person.”

About: I am an experienced petsitter who has worked in a professional, insured capacity (for Heavy Petting Petsitting) for over a decade. I also have experience working as an Adoptions Counselor at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, where I was trained in the “Fear Free”, positive reinforcement-focused method of animal training and handling. I have an extensive understanding of both canine and feline body language and behavior, and have worked with dogs and cats of all breeds and personality types! I am currently in a remote Master’s program which allows me to arrange my schedule as is convenient to my clients. I do all of my course work from home! I have a household of a dog (cattle dog mix) and two kitties who are all very animal friendly! However, if your fur baby is not a fan of other animals, I am happy to stay at your home and follow your preferences as far as house conduct goes.

About: I have had pets my whole life- rabbits, ferrets, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. I also grew up regularly volunteering at my local humane society, taking care of dietary, sanitary, and emotional needs. I have professional experience in pet care at Animal House in Morgantown, WV while I was a full time college student. I am currently an Animal Welfare Advocate at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh :) I have a strong love for animals and strong attention to detail. Give me a checklist and I got you! I am most available during mornings and evenings, as I work full time at the Humane Animal Rescue, my schedule changes so my weekends can be different, just shoot me a request and I will get back to you as soon as possible with whether it fits my current availability. I have 2 cats and 1 snake in my home, who I have regular feeding and sanitary schedules. I pride myself in taking great care of my best friend, Miles, he is my entire world and I pay strong attention to detail in grooming and health needs including actively training and engaging in play. I am more than happy to accommodate your pets specific needs and have fear-free environment training for dogs and cats!

About: Hi! We're Nikki and Stefano. We've both had dogs in our homes as long as we can remember and won't ever have it any other way. We've had dogs ranging from toy chihuahuas to heelers to our current pups, a Great Pyreneese/lab and an Australian Shephard/Red Heeler. So any dog size or breed is fine with us. We love spending time with animals and we would love to get a chance to meet new dog friends and give them the same love and attention we give to our own pups while also meeting and learning more about each different breed and their personalities. My wife works from home and i work in the office 3 days out of the week, so we are 100% flexible with our days to watch, walk, or play with your pups. I work in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays. My wife works from home and is available to watch and play with the pups all day. We have a good sized fenced back yard that our two dogs love to run around in so your dogs will have plenty of time to hang out and play outside or relax and take naps inside.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up on a farm. My best fur friend, Maggie May, has been with me for 10 years. We love walks, hikes, car rides, and hanging out at home. When we’re at home, we’re also hanging out with our two black cat homies, Bellatrix and Sirius, who have been with us since 2020. I work from home 4 days per week and have a fairly flexible schedule. I go on daily walks/hikes permitting. I have no problem at all staying home and crafting while hanging out with my pets on a weekend night! I have a secure tie out in my backyard and plenty of cozy places to hang out inside. My dog, Maggie, is lackadaisical about most dogs and just wants to get a good sniff in.
