About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Those 2 cats currently live with my parents, but I'm bringing them up here when I move into my own place. Both of my roommates also have cats!

About: My partner Jack and I love caring for pets! Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. I work as a barista at a coffee shop and Jack is an employee at Pitt. Together our schedules allow us to have at least 1 person home for most of the day. On rare occasions when neither of us are home, at most we are away for 3-4 hours. We have a large yard with a lead and 2 cats. Our house is moderately sized, with room for playing and relaxing. We are attentive to feeding schedules and potty breaks.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies to calm senior pets who need a gentler pace. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and always prioritize safety, whether that’s sticking to your dog’s routine, handling leash walks confidently, or keeping a close eye on behavior. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, crate routines, and giving lots of love and attention. I’m currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh, which actually gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. Evenings are usually wide open for longer visits or house-sitting, and weekends are very flexible as well. My schedule is consistent week to week, so you can count on reliable care and clear communication about my availability. I follow your routines exactly; feeding schedules, walk routes, crate rules, playtime, and any house guidelines you prefer so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m very mindful of doors, gates, and leashes to prevent escapes, and I make sure your home stays tidy and respected throughout my stay. I communicate frequently with updates and photos so you always know how things are going, and I’m attentive to any changes in behavior or appetite. About: I’ve been volunteering at animal shelters since 2024 with the job to socialize dogs and cats who are waiting to be adopted. I’ve completed level one of a dog training program which included kennel safety procedures, canine body language, and enrichment practices. I currently work full time with a hybrid schedule, so I’ve got lots of availability for your weekend pet adventures! If you live near Squirrel Hill and need care during the week - just ask! I know that all animals have their own personalities and require personalized support based on their interests and boundaries. I could tell how excellent her caregiving was as he did all his routines great with her-- a walk, bedtime routine, ate his meals, was calm and great when we got home. He is used to us being around and I hadn't left him for an overnight for some years, so it is all the more impressive that he adjusted so quickly to Abby. Also, we loved getting the detailed updates and pictures! We are so happy we were able to have Abby help us for these couple of days and know Sailor will want to have her back!
