About: For the past 10 plus years, I have volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I care for dogs by walking and feeding them. I have been a lifelong dog owner, and I currently have two dogs: a dachshund and a medium-sized Labrador/Pit Bull mix. Spending time with dogs is something I enjoy, and caring for them is rewarding. Their companionship brings me a great deal of happiness. I am available during the day as well as in the evenings. Anytime after 5pm is perfect for me! I can do weekend mornings and days as well. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, especially playing with their favorite toys. We often play with a ball outside and enjoy relaxing together in the sunshine.

In my own home, I offer a safe, calm, pet-proofed space where they are treated like family and provided with constant supervision outside of my 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM workday. Regardless of where the care takes place, I make sure to send regular text and photo updates so you always have total peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, well-exercised, and loved.

About: I adopted a Maltese poodle mix from a shelter when she was 10 years old and cared for her through her senior years, up to age 17. She came from a rough background and didn't trust anyone at first, so it took real patience to earn that trust. Over time I taught her commands, potty-trained her, and helped her feel safe again through her senior years. That experience taught me how much consistency and gentle patience matter for dogs who need extra support, especially seniors or pups recovering from a hard start. I believe animals show us what unconditional love looks like, and what it means to earn it. I would be so excited and honored to be a part of ensuring the happiness and well-being of you and your pup's lives! I am working part time so I will be available anytime after 3pm M-F! On weekends my schedule is more open so I am more flexible! During walks, I'll bring extra water and a small bowl for your pup in case they need it. If you're able to provide potty bags, that's a big help — but if not, I'm happy to bring my own, no problem at all! I always maintain distance between your dog and any others we pass, since you can never predict another dog's temperament or reaction. Your dog's safety is my absolute top priority, and I want to make sure they feel comfortable and secure throughout the walk.

About: I’ve been volunteering at animal shelters since 2024 with the job to socialize dogs and cats who are waiting to be adopted. I’ve completed level one of a dog training program which included kennel safety procedures, canine body language, and enrichment practices. I currently work full time with a hybrid schedule, so I’ve got lots of availability for your weekend pet adventures! If you live near Squirrel Hill and need care during the week - just ask! I know that all animals have their own personalities and require personalized support based on their interests and boundaries.
