I am currently on summer break from school so pet care would fit very naturally into my daily and weekly routine right now, since my schedule is very flexible. I am currently volunteering at a food pantry, which allows me to structure my days in a way that can easily accommodate pet care visits, walks, or extended stays as needed. Because I don’t have fixed work hours, I’m able to be reliable for morning, midday, and evening check-ins, and I can adjust my availability based on client needs. My volunteer commitment is typically set and predictable, so it doesn’t interfere with scheduling pet care responsibilities. I’m also comfortable planning my week in advance to ensure I can consistently show up on time and give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Overall, pet care would fit in seamlessly with my current routine, and I have the flexibility to be dependable, responsive, and attentive to each pet’s schedule. I care for pets in my clients’ homes and during walks, and my main focus is always keeping them safe and comfortable while respecting the owner’s space. When I’m in someone’s home, I follow all instructions closely and try to keep things as close to the pet’s normal routine as possible so they feel relaxed and not stressed. During walks and drop-ins, I make sure pets are secure on their leash and always supervised. I pay attention to their behavior and surroundings to make sure they stay safe, especially around other animals, people, and traffic. I also know how important trust is when someone is letting you into their home and caring for their pet, so I’m reliable, communicate clearly, and can provide updates so owners feel at ease while they’re away.

About: I've taken care of dogs for 3 years, having owned a dog for 6. I have cared for senior pets and I can take walks as long as your pup desires- whether that be 3 miles or 10 feet... I'm currently home for the summer from college so I have unlimited free time to care and play with pets. As my own dog is getting older, I love taking longer walks with more energetic dogs! I like to know the pet's preferences so I can accommodate and make them feel as comfortable as possible. Every check in is not only feeding but also attention and company for your pet who may be feeling lonely. If I've noticed a pet is really missing their owner I always make sure to spend extra time in order to soothe them.

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born and my first move after getting my own place was to adopt my own dog, Phoenix. Despite Phoenix’s passing, I have still stayed very active in the dog community with both fostering and dogsitting. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and needs and am very eager to help with yours! I work remote full time, so I have a lot of extra time to take care of the dogs. I also am always out walking with my family and their dogs and taking them on different adventures. I have a decent sized inside place to play and also a fenced in backyard for dogs to run in. I try and provide as much mental and physical enrichment as possible.

About: I’m a recent college graduate with a huge love of dogs! I’ve owned several dogs my whole life, many types (Lab, Pitbull, Australian Cattle Dog). My family and I have fostered over 5 different dogs in the last couple of years. My sister is a professional dog trainer and I’ve watched her work for many years! My mom has been pet sitting for Rover for years so I’ve gotten very used to working with all sorts of dogs on a weekly basis. I love caring for animals, especially taking them on walks and giving them baths :) Since I just graduated, I’m looking to do something fun to fill up my time! I’m free whenever and I can go where ever :) I’m super attentive when it comes to dogs needs. At home, I try to walk my dogs at least once a day and I’m always picking up on cues when they need to go outside.

About: Recently graduated from medical school and looking to make some new furry friends before starting residency! My family always had at least 2 dogs growing up that I helped raise and watch as well as caring for friends' and family's dogs from time to time. I am currently off before starting residency in mid-June so can be flexible with your schedule as needed. Available mornings, afternoons, or nights, as well as weekends. I live in an apartment building with a nice long walking path by the water as well as many open grassy fields for your pup to play in!

About: Own a Shepherd-Chow mix and a short hair cat. I also routinely babysit for a family friend's golden retriever and house sit while they are away on vacations. I house sit for a friend with 3 cats on occasion. I also have experience giving shots to animals with medical issues if necessary. I work part time during the summer and am looking to supplement my teaching career. Would love to meet you and your animal(s) if you’d like before I take care of your fur babies! Over the summer I work part time and have plenty of time for walks and/or drop ins. Schedule changes weekly but not by much definitely able to accommodate your needs. During most weekdays I am a teacher so I will be out of the house 7-3:30 (unless there is a vacation or holiday) I shower all my pets with love at every chance I get. I am all about the belly rubs and my animals know it and love it!

By making connections via talking, playing, training, and grooming I pride myself in providing full care for my furry friends. I make training fun and learn their individual strengths! Pet care is an essential part in my daily routine. Each day begins by walking my pup, refreshing her water and food bowls. At the end of the day, I’m cleaning and prepping to start out routine over, putting toys away and doing our last walk of the night. I love taking my pups out downtown or to the dog park. If it’s dog-friendly, why aren’t we bringing the beans?! Everyone is always happy, fed, hydrated, and well played with. Pet hygiene and environmental cleanliness go hand in hand. I like to make sure I’m keeping my home clean for my pets. After all they play, lounge, and sleep in our home. The least we can do is make sure the space is free of dangerous objects or potential choking hazards. We also use pet gates in our home to ensure pet safety when cooking/cleaning/moving furniture.
