About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born and my first move after getting my own place was to adopt my own dog, Phoenix. Despite Phoenix’s passing, I have still stayed very active in the dog community with both fostering and dogsitting. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and needs and am very eager to help with yours! I work remote full time, so I have a lot of extra time to take care of the dogs. I also am always out walking with my family and their dogs and taking them on different adventures. I have a decent sized inside place to play and also a fenced in backyard for dogs to run in. I try and provide as much mental and physical enrichment as possible.

I love walking and there is a dog friendly (leashed only) park near by if your pet enjoys of exercise. You can trust me to keep your pets safe, engaged and happy in my home. Your pet will have free range in my house which is dog friendly. I can provide a dog bed, blankets and towels etc. I have a fully fenced backyard that provides a safe and spacious environment for outdoor play. I work part time in Huntington. I work Tuesday through Friday in office and Thursday’s remote, 10-4 Weekends are free, and Mondays I am off. I am very personable with animals and their parents. I take a lot of time and care into my work with pets and people, and their homes too.

About: I have owned pets since I was 4 years old. I have worked in the veterinary field since I was sixteen and am starting my 2nd year of veterinary school at Long Island University. Over the years I have pet sit for a total of 25 different dogs, 15 cats, a bearded dragon, a hamster, guinea pigs, and a turtle. I am able to medicate any dogs or cats, as well as give any injections needed (ex. insulin). I also have experience at a dog daycare where I was in charge of over 40 dogs of all sizes in one large yard together. I am currently working full time at UrgentVet and work second shift so I am available in the mornings or any time on my days off. When school starts at the end of August, I will be able to work around my class schedule and make adjustments as needed for your pet. I care for pets as if they are my own. I make sure they are comfortable and keep their daily routine that they are used to, to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible.

About: I work at a doggy daycare. At this job I supervise groups of dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. I’m experienced with feeding, administering medication, and basic grooming like baths and nail trims. Working at this job has taught me a lot about dog behavior and body language. I am also pet CPR and first aid certified with America Health Training. I am an owner of a 2 year old rescue dog myself. I am used to all different types of personalities and temperaments and ready to take on whatever it is your dog may need! I am working part time at a doggy daycare facility. I am normally available in the early morning until 12pm and from 8:30pm to late night. Tuesdays and Fridays I am free the entire day for any bookings so long as I know at least a day in advance! Because of my work obligations as well as obligations to my own pets I am only offering dog walking sessions as well as home check ins for cats and dogs. I am used to any kind of harness or collars for dogs, experienced with using crates and am comfortable taking them out wherever is comfortable with you. For both cats and dogs I can come in for house check ins, help with feedings, play with your pets, or just come in for a snuggle so they don’t get lonely.

About: Currently a 2nd year DVM student at LIU college of veterinary medicine. I have been working in vet hospitals for 6 years, and love to take care of animals. I’m currently a vet student at LIU, so I am mostly available in the evenings and on weekends. But I am more than happy to arrange things as best we can. I can’t offer service in my home, but I am more than happy to pet/housesit for you and do all I can to keep your pets happy.

About: I’ve taken care of many cats including one of my own in the past. I love taking care of cats, feeding them and seeing them happy! I have most of the week days available during Summer and may have nights and weekends after August, looking forward to caring for, playing with, walking and meeting your pup! And you know it.. our dogs are our kids too :) A little about me: I have a passion for helping stray and neglected dogs. I volunteer with many rescues in Puerto Rico. I do airport transport, coordinate with fosters (and foster), and love on pups that come to the states while they wait to meet their forever families :) Hoping to run my own rescue one day! I work remotely! I have a super flexible schedule. This makes it very easy to keep your pup’s at home routine. Frequent potty and play breaks too! Multiple years experience as a veterinary assistant handling cats and dogs all day, while learning valuable skills in healthcare. One of the most important parts of this job was creating a comfortable environment for the pet to build trust with them. I will do the exact same with your pet. In more personal experience, I have had family pets all my life, and was mostly responsible for their wellbeing. About: I have always grown up with dogs in my home. Currently, my family has one high energy black lab. In September of 2024, I also adopted my first own dog, Millie! I have watched, played with, fed, and walked dogs for many years including family and friends. I am currently in my final year of veterinary school. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant so have first aid and medical skills. I’m in my clinical year of vet school so my schedule varies by which rotation I’m on! Early morning and evening would probably be best for me most of the time. I try to update my availability calendar as often as I can! My home is very safe. There are plenty of paths and green spaces for walking. Your animal would have to get up one flight of steps.

I'm a wildlife biologist, and I've spent most of my life taking care of animals — in a veterinary setting, on wildlife conservation projects, and growing up in my own home with my family pets. I work as a full-time biologist during the spring/summer, and will have open availability over the fall, winter, and spring to help with your pet care needs! I started out as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital, where my days were cleaning dog kennels and cat cages, feeding and watering, walking dogs, giving oral and topical medications, holding animals for exams, and keeping daily records on everyone in our care. This job is where I learned how to understand an animal’s body language, and how to adjust my own to make sure they feel safe. Since then I've graduated from university and have worked as a field biologist for state and federal agencies, most recently monitoring endangered shorebirds at Jones Beach State Park here on Long Island. Along the way I provided daily care and feeding for state-owned horses in Oregon, and I've handled, banded, and released wild birds across four different groups — songbirds, raptors, waterfowl, and doves. At home I've kept lizards, snakes, birds, and aquariums of my own, so I'm comfortable with things like heat gradients and UVB, humidity, feeding schedules that aren't daily, and water parameters and filtration. I'd love to meet you and your crew! Currently, I have open availability from 10 am - 9 pm 7 days a week for drop ins and walks. For overnight stays, I am available anytime with 1-2 days notice. Before the first visit I do a free meet-and-greet. I want to see where everything lives — food, leash, litter, carrier, cleaning supplies — and I write the routine down rather than trusting my memory: feeding times and amounts, medications, which treats are allowed, how your dog behaves on a walk, and anything that frightens them. I also want your vet's name and number and a backup contact before I'm ever in the house alone. The thing I'm most careful about is doors. I come and go deliberately, I know where every animal is before I open anything, and I never leave a door propped. Dogs stay leashed the entire time they're outside with me, with no off-leash exceptions unless you've asked for it specifically. I give Medication exactly as written, at the time you've specified, and I confirm each dose with you. I don't adjust a dose or skip one because an animal is being difficult — I'll message you instead. Following written protocols precisely is most of what my professional work has been, in a veterinary hospital and in the field, and I treat your instructions the same way. I pay attention and I report: appetite, water, litter box or bathroom habits, energy, and anything that looks off. If something seems wrong I'll contact you right away. If it looks like an emergency and I can't reach you, I'll get your pet to your vet or the nearest emergency clinic and keep calling. And I look after the house. I clean up after your pet and after myself, I keep your keys and door codes private, I don't bring anyone with me, and I leave the place better than I found it. You'll get photos and a short real update after every visit. I also welcome any feedback, as that helps me do a better job in the future!

He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! About: I love animals specially dogs and cats. I never owned a dog but I always dog sit for my friends and family. I grew up with cats at home.
