“Jordan is so sweet and attentive. He sent me updates after every visit, including several pictures! He gave my senior dog the extra TLC that she needed! He always showed up on time and was willing to go the extra mile. Would definitely recommend Jordan and will certainly be asking for him again in the future!”

About: I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am a vet student at Long Island University home for the summer looking for pet sitting opportunities. I have 5 years experience in a vet/ kennel setting. Given this, I am comfortable with pets of all needs. Currently working part time but I can be flexible and work around when you need me. I love to be active or just chill on the couch, whatever fits best with your pets typical lifestyle. I have many years of professional experience dealing with a wide range of pets. Pet safety is my number one priority. My first step as your pets new sitter will be to develop a safety plan so that you can have piece of mind.
“We’ve had the pleasure of having Elizabeth care for our cat, Miller, multiple times now, and each experience has been outstanding! She’s incredibly reliable, attentive, and always keeps us updated with photos and messages, which gives us great peace of mind while we’re away. Miller loves her, and we trust her completely every time. Elizabeth has consistently provided the best care, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her for any future trips—she’s our go-to cat sitter without a doubt. Highly recommend!”

“Karen is great! You can tell she’s a dog person right away :) we were immediately comfortable leaving Daisy with her & she loved her immediately. Thank you for taking good care of our pup, Karen!”

“Kaylee watched our 2 large shepherds and she was fantastic. Our dogs are very hyper dogs and both anxious in their own ways so we never feel the best leaving them with new people but Kaylee took lots of photos, our dogs were super happy and we felt so confident leaving them in her care. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a loving sitter for your fur babies!”

“Lindsay was an extremely communicative and thoughtful sitter who handled my little pit mix like a pro. She’s a ball of muscle and working on her training currently so while a sweetheart can be a lot to handle, but Lindsay more than managed and kept her occupied and happy while I was away for 3 days. I will certainly be using her services again in the future!”
About: I've had pets ever since I was born so I have a lot of experience taking care of them! I've helped out neighbors walk their dogs often and always enjoy it! I've had a dog for 10 years so I know a dogs routine! I volunteered at Cove Animal Rescue taking care of cats for a few months (as well as the 2 I have at home!). I am currently a pet care specialist at Dan’s Pet Care so during the weekdays I will have clients between 10am-4pm but I will try my best to hopefully make myself available to be able to attend to your pets needs! I enjoy spending time with my dog and 2 cats when I’m home and always try to attend to their needs as much as I can. I'm a big animal person so I'm always glad to do it!

As a spunky Fashionista, and Musical Theatre major from Atlanta GA, she’s outgoing and works well with any breed, age, household, and attitude! Madie wants to get to know your fluffy friend next! I’m currently in school at LIU in New York and come home to Georgia for breaks. I am able to care for your fluffy friends about 5 days a week! Including walking, playing, feeding and more!! “Ozzy was an amazing sitter for my four cats! My girlfriend and I felt at ease while away visiting family knowing that he was checking in on our cats, and even giving my diabetic cat his meds. All the cats loved Ozzy and I would highly recommend booking with him!”

“Stephanie is an absolute sweetheart! I could tell she treated Saint with so much care, as if he was her own pet. ( which I love ) I will definitely be using her again for her help in the future. Not only is Stephanie nice and friendly, but she followed all the directions I left for her. Thanks 🙏”

“Katherine is amazing! She’s so sweet and a lover of all animals. I forgot to make accommodations for our pets prior to an overnight wedding. Katherine responded quickly and put me at ease that my furry friends were in good hands from the moment I met her (it was my first using a sitter and just moved to the area). It was such a bonus that she is studying to be a veterinarian. I’ve recommended her to my neighbors already.”

What a pleasure to work with Beatrice. She was very responsive, attentive, and a relief to hear from. She knew exactly how to approach our cat and did all the right things to help gain trust. I would trust Beatrice with our pet any day and will consider her services again when we travel. I look forward to recommending her to others as well. Thank you so much!

We were thrilled to find Jill on Rover - nothing short of exceptional and amazing when it came to taking care of our three cats whilst we were visiting family out of state. Her communication was fantastic and our boys were so well taken care of - we couldn’t have been any happier with having Jill take care of them. Thank you so much!!! M&M
Emily was wonderful with our pets! Our dog can take some time to warm up to new people, and Emily was so patient and persistent with her — by the end, you could tell she absolutely loved her. She kept us updated throughout the whole stay with photos and messages, which gave us total peace of mind. It was clear from the pictures that both our pets were happy, comfortable, and having a great time playing with her. We'll definitely be booking Emily again!

Danielle was amazing with my cat while I was on my 10-day trip. My cat loved her, and I could tell her was upset when it was me and not her when I walked in the door!! She even brought over special treats for him. She left my apartment clean and well taken care for as well which I really appreciated. I am so happy to know I have Danielle for my next trip- I know my cat is looking forward to seeing her again!

Ashley did a great job taking care of my two kitties for the week while I was on vacation with my family. She was extremely communicative, followed all directions and provided photos to help me feel better about being away from my babies for the week. Highly recommend.

Kaylee watched our 2 large shepherds and she was fantastic. Our dogs are very hyper dogs and both anxious in their own ways so we never feel the best leaving them with new people but Kaylee took lots of photos, our dogs were super happy and we felt so confident leaving them in her care. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a loving sitter for your fur babies!

Talia is warm, attentive, timely, and a big animal lover. Our stubborn, and often aloof, shiba warmed right up to her, which is a major win in our books. And our very shy cat immediately came out of his cave to let her give him pets. You’re in very good hands with Talia’s care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
